It is honestly my go to! Lol this video was a rushed last minute bday gift I did right before leaving to go lol but I just love spicing everything up with whatever I want now!
It sure is!!!! 😁 just protect your yarn - depending on how hot ur heat source is u can use just the plastic stuff on the HTV or parchment paper or towel - I suggest using the clover iron in my video or the circuits really small iron or a house iron and use it’s tip - this way you can stay on design more and - ironing to much or too much pressure/heat can change the look of the yarn and the Crichton heat press will leave a big square dent in it
This one in particular I believe I used stretch htv, but I have used glitter, patterned, and cricut normal htv - I haven’t had any issues with any and surprisingly the glitter looks fabulous still and it’s years old now
Hi there, in the video I’m not using a heat press - I don’t use the heat press with my knitted items as I don’t like how it leaves a flat square on my work - I list off the tools I use for example a mini clover iron 2 and to protect your work with parchment paper or something on top because yes the irons will melt yarn if it’s not protected - hope this helps
I use all kinds of HTV glitter, stretch, normal, patterned - siser stretch HTV is usually the brand I get for stretch - but If you’re a fiber artist I recommend making a test swatch piece to keep forever that you can use to test out different htv’s on and also to get the feel for it
Thank you! I have the cricut machine that I can cut designs on heat transfer vinyl with - I would check your local area to see if anyone has a machine to cut for you and I don’t know for sure but might be able to find heat transfer vinyl designs online to purchase
And like the lady Kathy that commented below, you can buy heat transfer vinyl cut outs on Etsy - and could probably message the sellers asking for specific sizes if needed
This is lazy k creations from my personal YT -Yes they are - it’s the yarn that is most important for washing cus different yarn get affected differently- we lost our things in a fire so the oldest items I have now with HTV on it is 4yrs old - and surprisingly the glitter one I did 4yrs ago is still glittered doesn’t looked aged at all - I live on a ranch and my things get seriously used & washed a lot lol but everything has held up beautifully over the yrs - I’ll have to do a video on it
HTV is used to make eyes and other facial features on crochet toys and such (I do this also & with knit items or sometimes I use felt and HTV on top just depends on look I’m going for - but my kids are country ranch life kids and my testers for durability lol 😂
Will definitely try this. Thank you
WOW!!! I’ve been searching all sorts of Addi things because I just got an Addi last night and you are the first one to show this! BRAVO!!!

I have been wondering about this. Thank you!
On this project did you use stretch vinyl? If not what kind did you use?

Beautiful!
Thank you!
Hi there, what heat setting did you use for your heat press??? And did it melt the acrylic around the HTV???

Can these be machine washable?
I’m wondering this too… will it be durable on a child’s item?
