Herky didn't give up on the furniture one. She was scared because the first time Milton ran and tried to take it from there. Then people around her reacted to it really loudly. That's propably why she didn't want to take the treat the second time... and then she hurt herself on the ring and that's why the third time she was not motivated. But she did go in with her paw both the first and the third time. The treat was probably toi big to fit under her paw though...
Herky is so done with you guys through this whole thing haha! I love the treat under the chair, she just sat there. I died of laughter! You guys are the best!
LOL !!!!!!!! YOU ARE THE BEST AND THEY ARE TO TO SWEET AND CUTE I CAN'T STOP LOVING YOU AND THESE ANGLES!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH FOR THE MOST AMAZING THING YOU ARE DOING!!!!!!
I find it kinda unfair cause herky done it right the first time for the treat under the furniture but Milton interfered I thought she should of gotten 3 points, but still really cute and funny 😂💜
So much fun. My 4yr. old Koko is a Cavachon (half Cavalier and Half Bichon). He loved it! Scored 16/18. The treat under the towel gave him the most challenge. He tried pawing the towel but it just got bunched up and the treat was hidden in the towel folds. I used a bath sz towel, maybe a hand towel would have made it easier. Thanks for posting. 😁
I'm glad you pointed out at the beginning that Herky might have more.emotional intelligence. Because there are so many ways to test intelligence, it's not always just "how fast do i solve problems". Ofcourse Milton is an insanely smart pup ♡ she has the kind of agility-intelligence, she'd make a great sports-pup. Herky on the other hand always seemed to think longer and had her ways. My own Cavalier is like that too. Herky alsp seems to be more offended easily when being interferred like the furniture challenge. The second time she tried she also hurt herself - maybe the ring or disc prolapse? ): she seemed to be more emotionally hurt 😭😂💖 poor girl. But they are both so precious. I love the way you treat both of them with their own shenanigans. So lovely ♡
Omg, that treat under the towel is soooo funny with herky. Shes just like my old cocker spaniel i didnt time her but my cocker spaniel wouldnt find in under the towel but just chews the towel. Plus when i cover her with a towel, he'll take forever to take the towel off. But now i have cav and she is just as smart like milton. Its like milton's twin is my cavalier chico.
So CUTE!!!!!!!! Btw I love ya'll, I am getting a Cavie later in two months, do you have a video about what Cav owners need before they get their dog, or if not could you make one?
You need what you need for every dog: 1 sleeping place more than dogs you have (they like to switch) a crate possibly (to go hide inside if they want to) 2 bowls (1 water, 1 food, more bowls for water if you like. We got cat fountains for our cav, she loves them, but that's preference) a leash and a collar and/or harness A few toys, but you really have to test what your dog likes. Don't start with toys that have plastic pieces, most dogs just chew them of and swallow them (like human babies also can do) a few poo bags (if your city doesn't offer them around town) a first aid set maybe (an old one from your car will do, it's just for emergencys, to wrap something clean around a wound etc. to keep it save 'til you get to your vet) Something to keep your dog save in the car (the crate, if trained to stay calm while it's closed, but that needs to be tied down or something, or a thingy you can attach to the cars buckles and your dogs harness) Some dog food (ask your breeder, what he's feeding and see, if you can go along with that food. Else, still get some and mix in what you want to feed a little more each time you feed) hope that helps a little ;-) Two more things: Be patient. Your cavie is a baby, he needs to learn everything slowly (including peeing outside!). And after feeding him for the first time, let him explore the food for himself. Don't push him towards eating, don't pay too much attention to his food. Everything's new to him. He doesn't know how things work yet at your place. He may not understand, that you want to show him his food, but may believe it's YOUR food and he won't touch it until no ones watching him (and don't cheer at him when eating, he might misunderstand that as well). Just let him explore and get to know everything. He'll know you better in a week than every person knowing you your whole live. Trust me, they know how to make us do what they want us to. Good luck with your cavie :)
Hm, don't know if I should do the test. Some of these things I have already done with my dog (like hiding a treat in a towel, or having her find the right cup/hand with the treat, but without distraction). And I don't have normal walk times. So, she knows to watch out for me picking up her leash. She's smart in her own ways, but she's also kinda dumb (but then, I grew up with a very very smart dog, that always wanted to learn new stuff).
No, the first time Herky went for the treat under the couch, Herky DID USE HER PAW ! Watch it, again. I think after Milton got involved and then you guys separated them and started it over, Herky was unsure of what you wanted from her. She did actually go for it with her paw!
Some of Milton's behaviours here remind me quite a bit of the field springer spaniel I had growing up, though my dog was a much more extremely energetic version of a spaniel who required several hours of exercise a day. She was so fast and quick on a scent, adept at getting what she wanted independently, if not always gracefully. She absolutely would have bulldozed straight through those fake walls, which I think is a sign of intelligence (if not social decorum). My dog used to race across through fields and occasionally catch herself on a barb wire fence, so would end up with stitches and a cone. She took on this look of abject humiliation with the cone. I have this one memory of being in the car with her and the cone, and some people in the car next to us laughing at her rendered her completely devastated. It was incredible (and obviously heartbreaking - but mostly fascinating) to see how sensitive she was to the peripheral social ridicule. However, she learned to use the cone to bash into people's legs, and that seemed to give her a lot of joy. I have been contemplating getting a whippet for some time, but Milton makes me feel that maybe a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel might be the one. Honestly, it is a breed I have considered a lot, but have been worried due to all of the poor examples of the breed that I see in the parks of London, that look like they are suffering a bit as a result of their breeding. I would be curious if you had some advice about how you chose a puppy. Were their unique personality traits already apparent or was it kind of luck of the draw?
I tested my CKCS, and he got 13 out of 18 as well. When doing the wall test, he went through it the first time, then around it the second time lol! I decided to go with the first try.
Would you say that your cavaliers pull a lot during the walk? I'm getting a cavalier next year and I want to be 100% prepared for bringing another pup into my life (we already have one dog that pulls a lot)
i bet Milton will win! Although Herky looks like she'd be really food motivated! Out of my two dogs I'd say my Beagles smarter but my Labrador is pretty smart too even though he doesn't look like it!
Wow I had a Labrador once and am trying to convince my parents to get a dog specifically a beagle! I would want a cab but there too expensive for my parents we found them for $4500! Wow
I think that's why it's stupid because the more self-sacrificing dogs, Huky will focus only on the food, but as we know, the cavalier is not for the independent dogs. You can see this video at 10:05
I’m late, but I tested my cavalier and she got a 17!! She got 3’s all around except for the treat under furniture one. she used her nose so she got a 2 haha
With herky at the treat under the furniture... I would have gave herky a 1 or 2 just cuse herky did need some help but after showing the treat again they got it so
this was so unfair Milton was at a higher advantage becuz u guys gave Milton 2 chances on the treat in the cup and gave Herky only one chance. also, she did not sniff two wrong she sniffed ALL of them. now we know who’s the favorite dog
Lmao - liberal parent doesn’t want to give a zero! You two are so cute! I have a cavalier and a golden retriever and am going to do these tests - who do you think will score higher?
Milton, throughout the whole thing: "LIKE A BOSS!"
Herky, throughout the whole thing: "At least I'm cute. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"
Kate Given bahahahaha accurate.
Hahaha too funny. Zero fcks were given by Milton that day.
You guys are such a cute couple....you would make great parents....of human babies, I mean. Lol! I love your videos! ❤️
That was hilarious! 😂🤣
Really enjoyed this one.
So cute and funny, good idea!
Herky is so done with you guys through this whole thing haha! I love the treat under the chair, she just sat there. I died of laughter! You guys are the best!

OMG!! I couldn't stop laughing out loud on Herky's challenge #3 😂🤣 I think she did well 😎 like, who put treats under the couch anyways?!😂🤣🙃
Herky made me laugh too much at the treat under the couch test xD
animestuff4you she tried so hard 😭😂
Milton don’t care about no dang wall!! Lmaoooooo!!
Herky isn’t dull, she just isn’t motivated all the time!
Great vid!
Cory Drummond loll@no dang wall
this was so fun to watch! Herky cracked me up.. Loved the concept of this video, and it gave me the idea to do it with my own cav :D
I love both of them so much but Herky is my favourite xxxxxx
Loved this video. One of my favourites
WHOOPS!!!
Their faces are so different! And this video was priceless 😂!

AWWWWW, that SO darn CUTE!!!
hahah my partner and I have been watching game of thornes past two weeks too recap before last season, it's a must!!!!
I think Herky sound get 3 points for the treat under the couch! She tried with her paws first, but kept hitting it further under! ☹️
OMG so cute ❤️❤️
On 19:40 Milton was looking so cool....😎😎
neelam chhabra G thang!
Pause at 11:26 poor Herky!
Maria Stuckey at least she tries!!😂

Hello from the UK a great video I thought it was only my Cavalier King Charles Lola was like this.
Hm, don't know if I should do the test. Some of these things I have already done with my dog (like hiding a treat in a towel, or having her find the right cup/hand with the treat, but without distraction). And I don't have normal walk times. So, she knows to watch out for me picking up her leash.

This was hilarious!
Just got our Cav pup 2 weeks ago. He sure passes the Lap Lizard challenge. Snuggling is Joshua's forte
It looked like Herky hurt her eye on the furniture test, then she did go for it with paw and nose but it got away from her.
Herky just sitting there staring at the couch made me laugh out loud 😂😂😂
No, the first time Herky went for the treat under the couch, Herky DID USE HER PAW ! Watch it, again. I think after Milton got involved and then you guys separated them and started it over, Herky was unsure of what you wanted from her. She did actually go for it with her paw!
hahaha will do this with my japanese spitz boy today, so fun!!!!
This is so cute! I have one Cavalier King Charles spaniel! He is still a puppy!
Yay new video!!!
Kay Kat yayyy!!!
6:16 😁 *Yaaaay!* #spinspinspin
The couch sent me 😂🤣
Omgg so cute. Unfortunately, I don't understand English well. Greetings from Poland! ❤️❤️
Wikii XX you can just watch Herky & Milton then 🤗
Herky The Cavalier Yesss😊
I think Herky cut herself on the wedding ring.
Rosie The Pawesome Mutt :sss I think you're right. Poor Huhky
she hurt the bridge of her nose/snout. I do that all the time, and my nose usually bleeds.
I'm getting a dog in 3weeks and its going to be my first one so exited
Maybe herky hurt herself by trapping her nose under the the furniture a little bit. I hope she is ok now 😢❤️

Lucius Maximus you guessed correctly!
Herky The Cavalier yay!
Wow I had a Labrador once and am trying to convince my parents to get a dog specifically a beagle! I would want a cab but there too expensive for my parents we found them for $4500! Wow
Percy got 15 but we skipped one!
It's maybe the nose cuz she hit the couch or whatever with a force so mby? Hope I helped😝
Least smartest dog
Milton: *_HOW DARE YOU_*
Im deeaaad😢😂
Andrew Alinsunurin 😂😂😂
It looks like Herky bit your ring
So cuteee
Zoe with a Y 😁😁😁
I think that's why it's stupid because the more self-sacrificing dogs, Huky will focus only on the food, but as we know, the cavalier is not for the independent dogs. You can see this video at 10:05
Herky reminds me of my Bosco. He is kinda dumb, lol. But I love him!
I’m late, but I tested my cavalier and she got a 17!! She got 3’s all around except for the treat under furniture one. she used her nose so she got a 2 haha
My dog got 15, too! Don't underestimate Herky, she's smarter than you think hahah
Mischella she’s smart in her own way 🤭😭
Mischella she's emotionally intelligent lol
I like Milton GO MILTEN!
I think Herky hurt him on your ring, maybe it hit something in his mouth and startled him
*she
Herky and Milton are both girls
19:38 my dog when i cry
Your dogs are super smart. I don’t think my cavie will do well on this test. She is smart, but she has to be motivated.
I think she hurt herself when she brought her head back up and bonked her nose. POOR HERKY!!
It looks like poor Herk may have bitten her tongue when she bumped her mouth on the couch to eat the treat maybe 😭
It is really cool. We tested our Cav 'Leo' as well, but he only got 9 out of 18 :(
With herky at the treat under the furniture... I would have gave herky a 1 or 2 just cuse herky did need some help but after showing the treat again they got it so
So funny LOL
BillyCrafter 😁😂
She hurt her self with the bed
Herky and Milton are really smart. My cavalier only got 11 points.
so funny
My cav Ruby got 16! Lost the points because she had the same approach to The Wall as Milton 😂
you were a little bit liberal with the points... but your dogs are adorable
Legit one of my favorite videos in the world of Internet 😂😂😂 #herkyismyspiritanimal
I think Herky bit to your ring :-/
my dog’s score will be like that of Herky, i’m sure😂😂😂
Silvia Argento at least they’re good at cuddling 🤭
*You have been sabotaged by Milton*
13:44
Herky is too big to get the treat under the couch. 😞
Ahahhaha cuteeeeee
Thayná Carvalho 😃😃😃
I think im the first to comment!!!!!
Brid Mcgrath YAS!!!
Herky didn't hurt herself. I guess she was just shocked about the second. ;o Can't see something that hurts her.
Ninju Demonsoul poor Herky!
Yeah :( poor little angel
My cavalier can take the towel of his head in 4seconds😂😂he's a puppy though😂
this was so unfair Milton was at a higher advantage becuz u guys gave Milton 2 chances on the treat in the cup and gave Herky only one chance. also, she did not sniff two wrong she sniffed ALL of them. now we know who’s the favorite dog
#teamherky4life
This needs to be done with impartial judges. I found too much encouragement so I feel the test is not very valid.
TEAM MILTON
this is me-:) my dog when he saw me seeing other dogs not his breed :/ me- bruh look at dis dude nnonono
Diva wa lief
My dogo got 18/18. I have a genius
Lmao - liberal parent doesn’t want to give a zero! You two are so cute! I have a cavalier and a golden retriever and am going to do these tests - who do you think will score higher?
mphailey1 cavalier! :)
The Golden! Lol
Some bias was showing...
They cheated for herky
both are girl?
Why would you do this to your dog except for UA-cam cash flow?
