I’ve been fishing there recently in the mornings wading around and had a 5ft blacktip chasing bait 15ft behind me in waist deep water. It was a good morning up until that point. I’m still learning those flats but nice job. It was a blast fishing with you and my buddies for bluefish in the spring
We love your fishing videos. If you guys ever want to come out on our boat in the Mathews County area and give us some fishing tips, you have an open invitation.
I've got a place in Salvo and for the past couple of years I've been trying to learn more about the best local spots to target red and sheepshead. Any good GPS locations for those of you who fish that Rodanthe-Salvo area? I'm looking for spots I can fish with waders, on a kayak, and a small boat or even jet ski. IF you don't know any good spots, do you know someone I can charter locally who can show me? I've tried three different charters who went out of Pirates Cove, Oregon Inlet, ,and Hatteras and none of them knew the Rodanthe-Salvo area so we never got over there. Any ideas?
when fish are schooled up like that you could throw a hotdog over the top and they would eat cadence in this scenario doesn't really make a difference.
@@novaday8813 medium heavy is overpowered for inshore flats and artificial fishing. Medium to medium light is better, I use medium rods at the cbbt for bigger fish.
@@noahjohns7954 eh to light for me. I need to be able to switch between a 1/4jig and a popping cork with a minnow in a pinch. A mh rated 1/4-1 is perfect for an all around rod if I can only bring one lol
@@novaday8813 I have a medium penn rated 1/4-1 and I’m getting a fishaholic medium rod 1/8-1 oz soon. My medium heavy ugly stik is like the heavier side of that range. I like medium rods with backbone though, so I have no problems with them. Whatever works I guess 🤷
You always tease us with that “I should’ve brought my fly rod” statement. Would really love to see you hit the reds on the fly!! Please?!
Awesome! That’s one of my favorite topwater lures

This is epic! Were you retrieving against current, or was it just the wind making it look like it? Great job Jeff!

I’ve been getting in action like this up on mobjack from the bank/wade/kayak fishing

@@1fish2fish10 maybe! I’ll have to ask my parents. Just a random question, but do y’all still have lightning yaks? I saw you switched to old town.

Ever go to Bushy Park? I'm gonna try tommorow
What’s your rod, reel and line setup?
What kind water temps did y’all have?
85-90 ish typically around Hampton roads

IS that a small creek? Looks huge compared to the ones I fish. Still, A+ footage
you don't set the hook? 😐🥴
I’m going to start a pool for how many time y’all say y’all and the winner gets 100$ each video y’all do
What power and action is that rod? Trying to get a feel for saltwater gear is why I ask. Nice video

@@noahjohns7954 I disagree
Love how you just go around and blow spots annoying as hell. The f bomb means you can fuck off for taking our spots and waking in the no wake zone

🙌
I powered on outside the no wake zone.
