That rod is fantastic for the money. I've since moved to the Bull Bay Tackle LMG's on the heavier side with the Penn Fathom 200LP and use one with the Curado DC XG because the local-to-me BBT swap out warranty, but the TFO Pro baitcasting rod is just about perfect, especially for topwater. I still have one left that is about five years old and whenever I connect a reel to it I'm reminded how nice it is for a $100 class rod. Great video!
Yup I have TFO 7'6" spinning rods with Daiwa BG MQ and Saltist 2500s. High quality for around $100 through Salt Strong. I get 20-30% off of retail tackle.
Dan, I’ve heard multiple different people call you “the inshore wizard”. That title couldn’t be more true 😂 looks like you’ve earned yourself a name in inshore fishing. 👍🎣
Saw your sticker at the fishtales bar in Richmond hill. Been watching your videos for tips and stuff been killing the low tide reds out of butter bean lately. Hundreds of big fish in small creek mouths hammering the shrimps and mullet
Awesome man. The power of a sticker. 😆 thanks for the support. Yeah those reds are everywhere this year. We had a great spawn last fall. This spring should be our best slot redfish season in a while.
Do you have anyone up your way that repairs and cleans baitcasters? I am having a devil of a time finding someone. I am about 2 hours southwest of you and can't find anywhere to send my Calcuttas that isn't 3 months out.
I would also appreciate an explanation on why you tag slot redfish. I understand tagging over slot for tracking and conservation purposes, but I don’t understand why you would tag a slot fish that could be harvested?
moving to savannah in the fall for school. like many people on this channel I wouldn’t be opposed to doing some inshore fishing with you

It's hell to have to buy fuel on the water, at the marina.
It’ll be nice if you made a video showing your buds rig- it’ll help many out and it’s a video for your channel

Call River Supply in Savannah and ask Mike. If anyone knows it’s him. Tell him Dan referred you.
Sorry, new subscriber here. Why do you tag some reds and not others?
I try to tag those over 20” in GA. Sometimes in in SC
@@LowCountryFishing but what’s the purpose of tagging ?
