Great comparison of the stock and 10x5. I am not a fan of the F2 feature either. As a relic hunter in iron laden sites like we hunt, the 10x5 with FE 0 is the way to go in my opinion. Thanks Brian for sharing.
Maybe so for relic hunting but, looking for gold on the beach you'll be almost forced to incorporate FE 2. That is, unless you want to dig every bottle cap there is on the beach & there is many!....I set mine just enough to cause iron to come through on the tone to help identify.
Looking forward to seeing you use the Coiltek while relic hunting.
Good test. Im going to order the 10×5 Coiltek.
Harps Nice 👍🏼🍺 Coilteks work great and bigger coils, the more depth, but for what we do parks and beach 10-12 inch coils are perfect size 👍🏼Godbless

Replacement control unit? What happened to the other? Enjoyed the video
I had a little water under the screen. It’s still worked but I could see the water and only had a few days left on the warranty. So sent it in.
Really hard to hear the tones
Is it any different than the 6" coil coming from mine lab?
Yes, faster, deeper, and more coverage IMO. I got rid of my 6 inch coil because I just wasn't impressed. This little 10x5 is fast and easy to swing.
And the mosquitoes are pounding you!
