How to Tie a Bandana | 1940s Style | Tutorial for Reenactors

- During World War II army nurses used bandanas to keep their hair clean and off the face. Turbans were made of available cloth or toweling.
Here's a short tutorial for reenactors on how to tie a headscarf in 1940s style. It's perfect for field impressions in hot and humid weather and on bad hair days. We used a thrifted cotton headscarf in this tutorial.

Thanks Sara, we're glad you like it. Turbans are great if your rollers fail you or you simply have no time to style your hair :) Also keeps the hair out of the way.
