      @@orlandopockets6372 I have a Kepler but I do like regular style full size e bikes more so than moped or 20 inch wheeled cafe style bikes. I also wanted the full sized pedal bike that was as fast as I could get away with for under $2,000 .. Like the Wired Freedom or their step through. But I chose the Kepler.

    Loosen the handlebars to tilt back towards you to compensate for a non-adjustable seat. It provides increased control on the trail and will rectify your main complaint. I discovered this accidentally when the handlebars were too loose and pulled back on me during a sudden stop. I was pleasantly surprised and tightened them in that position. I am 6’ and weigh 195.

    Good review. I think the Grizzly is very capable in the woods, but depends on what type of riding you want to do. If you want to ride like a full suspended mountain bike and do a lot of high speed woods ridig and jumps....yeah, not this bike, but if you want to go slow through the woods on semi rough terrain the torque and all wheel drive help a lot.
    I have some decent trails near me and the grizzly climbs the hills on the trails easily. It also crawls over small logs quite well. Mistake I made when first driving it was just going too fast in the woods. Once I understood the capabilities of the bike I slowed down a lot.

      I have had to replace several spokes, so, yes, mag wheels would be great. As far as the weight of mags, my Juiced HyperScorpion has mags and it is about 100 lbs.
      That being said, the back wheel spokes cracked and creaked and broke. The bike came that way when delivered. I should have sent the whole bike back to Ariel Rider. A bike mechanic told me to do that.

      What these people wont tell you is if you unlock the speed like he did and either get injured or anything happens with the battery or bike the company wont be held responsible for any damage caused. Also these batteries are not certified with any US standards of quality control, meaning yeah they could be LG or SAMSUNG battery cells but you can have some random person wiring this with no standard for how anything should be wired for safety standards. Buyer beware.

Just as you stated … And I also wondered about these batteries… the LEAST they could have done was to MAKE SURE THEY HAVE A UL rating seeing as it’s a u.s. branded e-bike … Not sure if I would have bought it had I known b4 hand … but finally 11 months after it being delivered with a broken key chamber on the rear battery that’s supposed to be to the battery tray and missing toque screw for the front wheel…. I am finally pleased with its performance … sure wish they would keep there accessory items AVAILABLE but I’ve bought all my upgrades from other online vendors .

    Excellent. While I am not into peddling these days, you did address the comparison question I would have had, which was: is the suspension better than the ubco you recently rode. I don't know about that riding position on this bike either. And as you know, a lot of our terrain in WA. (roads) speeds are 35-45 MPH. So, if that is not capable of getting us to the slower roads, it would not really be a viable option to get off our hills to get to the valley terrain.(or back up at the end of the day) Anyhow, I am enjoying this extra content of yours. Very interesting stuff.

    Dude I have an ecell ebike it has two motors two batteries 🔋 and I am 190 lbs the bike will do 13 to 14 miles per hour up steep hills and I mean steep hill.
    31 to 32 miles per hour on flat ground. The bike is heavy about 95 lbs with out all the bags that come with it, but you see I have tire liners, no flat liquid in the tires all the bells 🔔 and whistles on the handlebars and a GPS hidden on the bike and then I have all the needed high level tools with an extra tube tool to repair anything on the bike, that pushes the weight up probably 40 lbs, I even ordered and spare controller because when you have problems that is the first thing to go out and it take most supplier’s about 6 months to send you another one and trust me it will go out when you lest expect it, but it will give you a warning that it is having problems so take those warnings to heart park it and order you another one. They cost about $127 dollars.
    Have fun 🤩 I am as old as dirt, but that’s what us old guys do with are 401k money 💴 we buy expensive Ebike and ride like the wind 🌬️ just for the exercise and a chance to get out of the house.

    Not practical at all, a huge chunk of cash for 2 hub drives, a heavy battery and wanna be motorbike (heavy) frame with not to mention very cheap components on it, shimano altus is the cheapest rear derailleur you’ll find on a Marlin 4 and Halfords bikes, so poor shifting and that’s what you get with shimano Altus for a start. Nice wee video but a bike that’s extremely heavy and an absolute headache when you do experience a puncture

    To play around on its nice but at that price and weight you would have to have security that’s a Fort Knox to a thief and they will do more damage trying to steal then it’s worth . You have to have a safe place and insurance.

    Looks fun-ish but also uncomfortable and noisy and pretty slow accelaration. You didn't explain some important things like it's range, especially in AWD without pedaling. Also the weight? Also, how well do lights work after dark....

    • @ridingsportstv

      Ariel Rider claims 75 miles. That's mixed with pedaling, though. Full throttle expect much less.

    • @Maber01
      @Maber01 Рік тому +1

      The range is going to be affected by your weight.
      I weigh 235 lbs. and I am comfortable going 30 miles pedaling all the time and using one motor unless I'm going up a hill.
      The UA-camr, Shreddie MacSkate, did a range test where he gets about 40 miles using both motors full throttle. I guess he weighs about 150 lbs.
      Personally, I laugh at the claim of a range of 75 miles. No fucking way!!!

  • @jillianm5448
    @jillianm5448 Місяць тому

    The seat is NOT 21" high. It's 34" high. It's also absurd that a single 1,000 watt motor could barely get you up a hill. 1000W should have been more than enough to do that which makes me question the actual nominal/peak power of the rear motor. ALSO stupid that there are passenger footpegs with a tiny single seat that can't be upgraded. Finally, it's idiotic that they cheaped out with 2 piston brakes when they should be 4 pistons for a bike like this.
