Thanks for watching!
I love it. I love the color. I suffer from depression so color is uplifting for me.
Mary is such a wonderful person. And she's been through a lot this year. I hope other Nomads come together and help her rebuild the inside of Max. She is a very hands on DIY hard working woman who is very resourceful. No one will be working harder on Max than Mary. She loves her Bus. ❤❤❤
Thank you for the plug, @Jolly Matilda! The build came together with perfect synchronicity!
I'm so glad Mary, and Captain, are safe, and that their home can be saved. Well done, Bob, a wonderful friend, as always. Hope the rebuild runs smoothly, and that Mary's lovely home is better than ever, when finished. You all exemplify the best in people. Thank you.
It is so much better than ever that i can't wait to show it off!
Bob, you are a real-life angel for a lot of people. Happy holidays 😇
He's right, you know!
I have followed Mary's journey and have seen how much effort she put into her schoolie's interior before the accident She must be devastated that it all was destroyed, especially the antiques that can't be replaced.. Wish I was in AZ instead of NJ to help out. I'll bet it'll be even more wonderful than before.
It is shaping up to be extraordinarily wonderful, thank you!
1) I love that we have the same name 2) I love that Mary has used historical furniture especially for the bed! 3) I love that she designated closet space!
This means we will have another lovely video tour once the build is finished! I hope many skilled people turn out. Blessings that the structure survived and no one was injured, especially Captain.
I agree, ESPECIALLY Captain!
There are a few ace mechanics left but very few that know how to work on old stuff. My dad and brother knew old school. Dad died, but he taught me how to do a lot of mechanics and diagnose. I’m too old to do anything anymore, but I loved it when I could. Love this video. Thanks, 😊
I love that you grabbed anything you had on hand for your original build out. Comfortable and homey and got the job done. Sometimes I do think we overthink things instead of just jumping in and letting the little things sort themselves out over time.
Thank you! So far we have been able to use pieces of the old build in the rebuild!
I love the bright colours and recycled furniture! Very homey and warm! All the best to you and many happy days ahead in your gorgeous bus 💕🌺👋🐾
Love LUV LOVE the Bright Cheery COLORFUL BUS!!!! 💜 Mary you are an INSPIRATION!!❤🩹
This is by far one of the most beautiful skoolie builds I've seen and I've watched a lot of skoolie conversion videos.
So glad you like it - And now it's even better thanks to the crew that responded to Bob's call!
@@MaxMiniTV that's fantastic. Bob is so awesome. I subbed to your channel and I'm looking forward to following your adventures. Your bus is absolutely gorgeous!
Mary is a doll. She has worked so very hard to accomplish many goals. May god bless her. Much love mary. Bob you are so good. Another super video. Yay codyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Love that bob cody and brian.
Thank you, Jan! You are a doll, too!
Love her bus I love how colorful it is love it interesting cozy love love all the colors beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm so sorry to hear about what happened. Glad nobody was hurt. I hope you can rebuild better than ever.
FYI... I was at the RTR free table just the other day when a man came by with a lot of things in a red trunk. (It looks like the one under your fridge) As soon as I saw the trunk I fell in love. Then I found out that the last part I needed for my kitchen was in there too. (I think it's the foot pump from your sink)
I understand that when things happen, like what you've been through, we let go of things we might not really want to. You are such a beautiful person. If you would like them back, I would be more than happy to return them.
I love color too Mary! Hopefully a lot of your beautiful things can be salvaged and re-used. Glad you and your pup are OK. Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
Happy New Year! And yes, we have been able to use some of what I had before, but it unexpected ways.
I have a feeling she might have sold antiques in her previous life! Lol…I love the build!
Man so sorry to hear of such a setback. Wonderful to hear that the community will come together to help. I'd love to be there but I'm recuperating from a lesser setback myself. I love the color and light in Mary's bus, so cheerful!!
You were there in spirit!
Such a great, kind community thing to start up! Sounds like it's going to be fun! Merry Christmas to all!
Happy New Year!
Muy lindo su bus, felicidades ❤❤❤❤❤
I love this, to me this is the very essence of what van life ought to be. congratulations you rock!
Awww that's so sweet of you to say, thank you!
Hi from Danmark 🌈🌞🌱🌳🐝🌏
Beautiful colors in your bus and so cosy and its you 👍❤️🐕❤️
I love the cheerful colors.
L🩷❤️🧡💛🩵VE the colors!!!
love your bus great idea on the bed.. love the fridge
Her space seems so much larger inside than you would think looking at it on the outside.
Hi Bob, wow that color is beautiful, I also like bright color. Very well organized.
Love the interior. Love the refrigerator & bed.
Thank you!
Thank God you're okay, and that the schoolie can be saved! Wish I was there to help!
You were there in spirit!
Love the color, specially the sunflower fridge
Merry Christmas Bob and happy new van life year. Thank God she's safe.
So homey! The color makes it cheery, no such thing as too much! Thanks for the tour.
Happy New Year to you both!
Thank you, same to you!
I want to be Mary when I grow up. ❤
Mary is s wonderful lady, I hope folks are able to get out there and help her out.
Love Mary! And her stories! Rock on Mary!! ❤
I am ROCKIN'! Happy New Year!
I'm already a subscriber to Mary's Channel and I think she is a riot 😁
Janet!
Wow Mary will very very glad to hear that no one was hurt. Also hopefully today was your day of finishing your interior and I'm hoping you'll have a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to bring in the new 2023 for you and your fur baby!😃😍😇🙏💖💋✌🌎🖖👀🕊🥰
Good luck and best wishes to you Mary. I hope it is cleaned up and better than ever!
Hi Linda, it is more beautiful than ever after the rebuild!
Beautiful. I love color too.
❤ great bus love it and she is a lovely lady
Yay! Awesome idea Mary!!!! So many people would just love to help you!
Hey there! Happy New Year!
I love all the colors and unique look!!
Ok, Dear Mary, I am totally in love with your skoolie bus color! So sorry you went through that accident but you have angels watching over you, girl! Too many coincidences to not realize you are so blessed! My little input (without being an expert) I believe that your beautiful antiques are gorgeous but that many PERHAPS are too heavyweight in that kind of a bus. Wishing you a Happy New Year and to Bob my admiration always! Another angel in disguise is our Bob Wells!
P.S. I left in Mary’s channel a couple of Thank$! With affection
Hi Lucy! Thanks received! My bus is actually about 1000 pounds under its rated weight, including the per axle weight!
@@carkirsch77 You are an angel!
This is lovely and gives me hope.
Awww I love that!
All American diesel

Kewl kats!
Go get'm tiger!
Merry Christmas 🎄🎅
Mary thank you for sharing. I have 2 Diesel engines both mechanical . I am extremely fortunate that I understand engines. I think what has happened in the old-school diagnosing is fading. I prefer to work on the mechanical diesel engines they are very simple. The new tech's are only taught on the electronic versions, in most schools. I have a quote to do a repair on my truck which is 200 miles from my home. 8000.00 in Kingman Az. I am having it shipped to phoenix so i can do the repair for less than 500.00 . search out older mechanics I am 61 and don't own a scan tool on occasion I barrow one. Get your mechanics lined up on where you travel. safe travels.
Oh my goodness! I’d love to help. You have so many beautiful things, colors, soul… !
Hope all those who are especially called will be there. I’m a long way in Washington.
Ohh, I am so sorry that happened to you and your furbaby. I'm glad your okay. It will be fixed beautifully.
I have been following Mary for a while and hope she gets the help she needs!
Hi Janice!
Delightful lady… good luck 😊
PSA: There's the issue with using household furniture in a bus, it's not always meant to hold if something catastrophic were to happen. If you get into a head-on collision, the furniture could slide forward and you could be trapped or crushed by it. I'd hate to see that happen to someone. I'm thankful she's alright! This could have had a worse outcome. It's your choice, but I want you to think about that when building your own house.
Thanks for the advice - but as a non-professional builder, I can guarantee you anything I had built would be far less sturdy than a piece that has survived for a hundred or so years already!
Many people who use wood furniture connect the furniture to the walls of their rig for safety+ it definately gives it a LOT more character than cookie cutter stuff that is bought that looks like everyone elses.😊
I was just about to add that I love all the color when you said some people don’t like it it’s amazing I love it
Interesting mini bus , thanks Bob
I like color too.
Gold Nigth.
Put subtitles in portuguese
I Love your videos
Merry Christmas
HI Bob This was great I have to say This was a well needed video
Your bus colors beings back a lot of happy memories of Easter.
That bus is as good as some people's small flat.
Beautiful home!!
Love your furniture - I bet it comforts you enormously. FYI: You will be less likely to roll over if heavy items rest on the floor.
Kazmira, she didn’t roll because of bad design ( and she didn’t have heavy stuff up top) she rolled because of needing to avoid another driver who did not use his turn signal, and in heavy rain. Also a bad brake job with brake shoes transposed. The greatest accomplishment that Mary did was avoid hitting ANYONE as she spun out facing wrong way traffic and more. The overcorrection plus brakes plus rain plus bad driver in front of her caused the accident. The bus build did not.
@@nomadicfoodie6286 Awwww Noma, thanks for this! I am moving the fridge to a lower spot in the new build, but you're right, I was not particularly top heavy. I do appreciate the concern people show when they give advice, though!
I can’t wait to see the new build. I am praying to find a mini wheelchair bus as I want to hit the road again soon! I am finding a wheelchair minivan impossible to stay in. I love traveling in her but living nope!
Thank God u safe
Wow! A nightmare Mary. So glad you and Captain are safe. I’m just missing the build dates on my way to the RTR. But if you’re planning to be at the RTR, I can help with any tweaks that still need doing.
Love and blessings from Israel.
Happy Chanukah

CheapRVliving Merry Christmas 2022 & Happy New Year 2023!!..Wish we all always in good health and success. 21:38, hope your subs reaches 629K 😁. May God bless you, your family and all CheapRVliving fans 🤗🤗
Very sorry to hear of the accident but I'm thrilled with the idea of how to fix him up and I'm sure many will step up ,we are blessed with loving hearts in this community... hope to see you down the road!
Praying for a peace of mind and heart, and a good turnout for you. Love from Texas. All things work together for the good.
Mary! There was no mention of you accident, so I’m assuming this was a before interview. I think of you often and hope you and the captain are doing well.
Hi Carrie - He mentioned it at the beginning, along with a call for help! Hope to see you soon.
Nice bus😊
My favorite color yellow
Hey Y'all..sending 💕 😘 love
Your bus home is wonderful. From the things you shared and I saw on your bus home; I could tell that we have a lot in common. I love your statues. I'm still not on the road in a van/bus yet but have been collecting ideas for when I can be. God bless you!
Amish bus raising party🤣 In all seriousness, I'm glad you and your baby are ok! Every accident creates a new opportunity...
I have a 1990 and never yet had a problem with any garage not accepting me for the money repairs it has had.
Love that yellow fridge.
Love your bus Mary the colours are beautiful and are what you like. It is lovely to see actual furniture 'I like all the older fashioned' furniture' compared to the modern MDF furniture also your bus has a homely vibe unlike some that I see that are usually the 'grey and White' interiors. Best wishes to you and safe journeys as well xx
YAY!!! MARY!!!!!
Mary! Merry Christmas!
FYI- Cummins not Cummings. Also, you can absolutely diagnose a problem with a mechanical Diesel engine. They are generally more reliable too and far less expensive to work on.
Hope to se you soon!!
This is one of my greatest fears, an accident that destroys my home on wheels….
To RV, or not RV…. That’s a question I’ve been asking myself.
I like to make a schoolie conversion, but something bigger so I can carry a small car with me on the inside rather than tow it behind me.
I hope this nice lady gets her rig fixed soon and I am so looking forward to seeing a new tour of her restored rig.
Of course I’m glad she and her copilot Captain survived the accident, but comes the tough part, rebuilding.
Hope you had a great Christmas and a happy and healthy new year too!
I have seen a few skoolies with a cutaway for a tow vehicle. Yes, I am very lucky I had my copilot. The people who showed up to help made rebuilding a breeze!
So glad, Mary and Captain are ok. I saw her video when she had the accident. Sorry I won't be there during those date. Hope to see you at Quartzsite. I hope she show her bus at the open house during the WRTR/RTR.
Happy to see you are ok. Stuff is replaceable. I am not there but I am sure you will have a great turn out. Best of luck
Mary's content is great, she's a wonderful story teller. I urge y'all to go view her videos.. And to join if you can the Bus Re-Raising event 🥰
Thanks for the plug, you are awesome!
Hi Mary
I would hope HOWA could also help Mary.
She should qualify for some aid.
God bless & so glad you & your pup are ok!
Good luck and Merry Christmas!
Uh oh. Now i am singing Mary's theme song...!!! ❤❤
How do you insure a commercial vehicle for personal use
Sorry for your accident with the bus! If I were closer I would surely come and help out with the build, but we're in Florida and trying to stay warm this winter. Best of luck on the build....
:) Crossover video! Subscribe to Maximalist Minibus! I wish I could make it there for the build.
My skoolie is a 1997 Chevrolet Express 3500 with a gas 5.7 L (the old 350 ci) engine. I call it a fat butt van. I also call it a tent with a roll cage (main reason I went for it.), and a drive train. I am glad it's almost 8' wide on the inside, though. I'm tall... just under the height where a roof raise would have a higher priority (which would have ruled out a bus).
My work on it has gotten hung up because I'm taking care of my Mom.
A lot of great ideas. Armoire for the solar! 🤔 sweet!
Merry Christmas everyone!
Hey, Wow!! Wish I was there instead of over 2,000 miles away. I'd love to help you, Mary. Glad you are okay, and your little dog too. It could've been much worse.
Get some good tires
Wish I could be there Mary and Bob. I have the skills and tools but not the time right now. Sorry. For the rest of you please help this nice lady out. I have faith in our community folks. I'm betting she gets more help than she can use.
NEVER, trade a IH for a power stroke, unless you want to own a boat. Break Out Another Thousand
I'm sorry this happened to you Mrs Mary and I am from Philadelphia where we shopped for Amish foods and we did many trips to celebrate there. I totally believe people are kind and caring for the most part, My car was stolen on Xmas eve and wreaked on Xmas day so I am unable to get to you, but I will send you something to help you with any expenses. I hope to meet you all soon.Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's C.J
