Yes and $8,000 ( sales price plus transmission). Transmissions is something that would steer me away from buses. With all that space it is if she has a homemade class c. Best of luck to this nice lady.

How sweet. She is lovely. I would have liked to see a little more of her setup like a refrigerator, storage for clothing, food, cooking utensils, power station, window coverings ( other than curtains), etcetera. Maybe next time, after she's been on the road a while.

Look into national fitness clubs. I have over 10k to use so no shower breakdowns. Small areas get mildew, leaks and SMELL.
Plus water weighs a lot to have to carry in your rig (fuel mileage,etc)

The more videos I continue to watch, the more I'd like to find a way to afford to do this. I've even tried to think about how I could convert my truck into nomad vehicle. Eventually my goal would be to own property that I could convert a portion into a nomad safe haven in times of economic collapse, political/civil unrest or general SHTF event. With all the craziness, shortages and uncertainty going on, it'd be good (for nomad's) to know that there's a safe place to run to if necessary.

This is a really nice setting and it looks comfortable too.
There are hundreds of videos of what's insider their living quarters and how they built them but to me that's just *half* of their story.
Nobody talks about how their vehicles are registered, how to get an insurance or what you tell the insurance on your living situation and how the insurance charges because of the continuous traveling and it's risks and exposure..
All these are a big chunk of expenses that I haven't seen/heard anybody talked about it or their struggles regarding these issues.
What's like to travel with a mobile community? (aka caravan).

Very nice bus conversion. Maybe in the future you will be able to have a small but handy enclosed toilet area. Reducing the size of your bed and putting doors on your under area would really look nice and would give you more usable space.

Really cool Sherry! A shuttle bus is next on the list. Heard you mention cedar shavings…if there’s a tractor supply around, try out the horse bedding pellets. We just switched and they are amazing! Especially for us ladies for whom peeing randomly outside isn’t as much of an option. Safe travels!

It seems like you would have enough time and space for a pet. A nice dog that can walk with you is so much company. Just get everything down to a system and it's easy and so worth it. Take time to find the perfect pet for you.

Wow, this truly is an example of bravery! Facing the unknown alone (with some help from family and new friends) is more than most people can handle. But to do it as a single woman later in life is really something else. I wish her nothing but joy and peace on the road, and am so excited for her upcoming adventures. You only live once, so why not make the most of it! 🥰
