    Friends, I’m happy to share my homemade Samosa sheets or wrappers today and I encourage you to watch the entire video and write notes. Please, as always feel free to ask questions and I’ll be happy to provide answers to the best of my abilities.
    The great thing about homemade samosa wrappers is that they can also be used as spring or egg roll wrappers and because they’re homemade, you’re able to control and carefully select the best quality of ingredients that go into the preparation.
    I hope you find this tutorial practical and helpful. My goal is for you to hopefully, prepare your own samosa/ spring or egg roll wrappers in preparation for the next tutorial video coming up in a couple of days in which I’ll show you how to fold your samosas into those classic beautiful triangular shape in 3 methods!!!! I’m excited and cannot wait, so plan to watch the next video in a couple of days friends! Thank you, make it a great day and have fun especially, in that kitchen 😍🙏🏾

    Thank you so very much, my friend! Last night's samosas, which unfortunately did not use your recipe for wrappers, ended up way too thick, hard, and substantial with respect to the filling. I will make your recipe and use your technique next time (tomorrow). People like you who take the time and make the effort to improve the quality of life for families around the world by helping them make better quality food are truly admirable. Just think: someday, decades from now, some older person is going to smile and tell an acquaintance, "Oh, man, my mother made the BEST samosas! We always told her to make double the amount, but she said if she did that would be all we ate and we'd fill up before dinner." And that mother will have made those samosas using YOUR recipe and technique, and it will have made the difference, and it will have given her children fond memories for life. I know because this has happened to me before, and it happens to my own children these days. Keep up the great work!

    • @NanaabasKitchen
      @NanaabasKitchen  4 роки тому +1

      Great question Beatrice! I’m pleased to tell you they store incredibly well in a plastic bag that’s sealable such as ziplock bags, and in the fridge for weeks. They stay soft and silky for up to 4 weeks in the fridge. They’ll store longer in the freezer for months also in a ziplock bag with parchment paper in between each sheet and when ready to use, remove from freezer and allow to thaw and regain their original softness, prior to use.

      @@NanaabasKitchen You are welcome! It is really nice. Nothing beats homemade samosa wrappers. I made some before, following this same method by a different UA-camr and it was so good! The scraps can be fried and it is so tasty! I later wanted to make some spring rolls and I bought egg roll wrappers. Needless to say, I tossed it. It was terrible! The wonderful filling could not make up for it. Homemade wrappers has spoiled me!😂 It is also fun to make as it the dough feels so good!

      The oil got too hot. Fry on medium heat and if you start seeing bubbling of the crust, you must decrease the heat. It fries well on gentle, medium, well controlled heat. 🙏🏾

      Sorry to hear that. Please try again and be sure to apply more oil and flour in between every layer. Like I said in the video, it took multiple attempts even for me to nail the process.

    • @NanaabasKitchen
      @NanaabasKitchen  Рік тому

      Try again and this time apply much much oil between the layers. Let the oil drip on the entire circumference of each rolled out dough. Should work then.
