    Great vid! Can you explain when/why you’d use the cream vs gloss? AND what is the diff between the N & NB?

    In your formulas where you put together levels 6-9, I understand you’re filling, but how do you decided which levels should go with which base color?

    I've been looking for toner for brown hair for so long. This is really a great video. I have level 6 colored hair, balayage highlights that turn yellow at the top, orange through midsection to end. I am getting brassy all over.. I want to balayage my hair and use 6N & splash of 6VB on all the hair in between balayage to cancel the brassy base. (Or do I need to add some 6G to 6N & 6VB so it's not an all over flat brown base?)Then, I want to tone the balayage pieces with 8N and 8VB... what do you think?

    You are so sweet to share your formulas! Thanks for caring and helping other stylists I come from a salon in SF called Yosh where we had to specialize and I did cuts only so your videos have been so wonderful to watch! Also would you happen to know the name of that houseplant trailing in the background? Thanks

    Do you notice any difference between shades cream and shades gloss? Do you prefer one over the other? OMG he's gotten so big and even cuter :-)

      @LexiDawnMcc  6 років тому

      shades glass is great for quick toners at the bowl. the creams are colors and not so much a toner

    OK lexi never heard the tern pannel or (full) in a color formula ...can you explain please! ...love your stuff chicka, sorry to be a dork but you are just good with your explanations i don`t wanna miss a thing.

    • @LexiDawnMcc
      @LexiDawnMcc  6 років тому +1

      full is just a way that the color line logics calls their demi line. a panel is with sectioning hair. so if i have 4 quadrants to color dark hair and i panel that means going through each quadrant I take horizontal or angled sections and do color every other section. so the first section is formula 1 then the next section i use formula 2 then the next formula 1 and so on.

    When you add golds with ashes do you have to put more gold in it or can you just add a little ?

    • @LexiDawnMcc
      @LexiDawnMcc  6 років тому

      that depends on what your clients hair looks like and the color you're trying to achieve
