The scene at 1:20:45 when Jimmy catches that bloke trying to steal money from the cash till used to make me laugh as a child, it's the way he shouted "Oi!" when he saw him opening the till that creased me up!😁😁😁
It really was difficult to watch. The endless scenes of expository dialogue between Georgia and Nat where they "reminisce" about their illicit relationship are long, tedious, and grubby. The whole plot was sensationalist drivel and definitely not needed.
Watching this in 2024, I’m rapidly beginning to realise Helen Grace isn’t the world’s greatest actress. Or even in Brookside. Or even in the Simpson family. She comes across so wooden and emotionless that it stops you becoming invested in the scenes/stories involving her. I’m hoping now she and Nat will be found out, and do a runner. Just to get her off-screen.
Hmmm the Simpsons grandad must have had money to own a cottage like that, why didn’t they just move there instead of the close or got grandad to help them keep their original home. Belle, Nat and Georgia fit in so well in that country type setting, snobby, aloof, true Tory homeland.
Not being harsh, but the actress (Sarah Withe) who played Jules Bradley wasn't very good - her Scouse accent was obviously fake, for one thing, and whenever she tried to cry all she did was pull a face and keep whooping - her face didn’t flare up and there were no tears.
It was a weird one. The likes of Sue Jenkins and Gladys Ambrose were brilliant, yet you also had the Amazon rainforest that was Jacqui Dixon and Tinhead!
@@AdesWorldofRandomI like how Jacqui and Tinhead evolved over time; Jacqui went from gobby teenage hoyden to successful business partner, and the surrogacy storyline brought out her altruistic side and maternal instincts; Tinhead went from vile school bully to quite decent guy... and sadly grieving young husband.

Sorry Ron, no Gerry and the Pacemakers or Status Quo: Brookside only feature tracks from their own session musicians.
Julia ruining the wedding rehearsal 😂
“Mind if I stay, I love a good wedding” 😂
Beautiful scenes of The Cotswolds. Does anyone know where the scenes were filmed?
Poor Jimmy, the stick he gets off that lot, its a wonder he doesnt go back on the smack.
Some lovely location filming in the Cotswolds with Max and Susannah, Nat and Georgia.
The incest story was horrible and not wanted.
So boring
Totally unnecessary just a massive bore
Good for a ratings boost but it wasn’t great viewing all the same.

In soap land you have endless amounts of money wish I could live there😂
So why doesn’t Olie give his wife a job?
Nat and Georgia really were insufferable bores with a grim storyline to boot.

Everyone saying Sammy’s half of Max’s age or he’s old enough to be her father crap, Sammy looks the same age as Max. No way is she under 30!…

Love Sammy. Feel really sorry for her
I've got no sympathy for her - she's a lazy, self-pitying, trouble-causing, shit-stirring, entitled drama queen.

Brookside wasn't known for its Acting talent.
