What you found looks like a dental cap for a tooth. I found one last year, had a high 80's on my Apex and turned out to be a silver cap with the tooth still in it. Someone must have had a bad day. Enjoy your videos.
Yea, I'm thinking that's what it is too. Wow, the tooth was still inside! :O That's insane. So now the question, did the whole thing just fall out for no reason or perhaps someone got punched in the face? Either way, not good and makes for a bad day!
Mrs She detector hay, I am still hunting. I have done well this year with 2 gold Bracelets, 15 gold rings, 1 thin gold necklace with pendent(how my machine got it) 4 gold pendants several silver rings n pendents Three pounds of coins not lying and tons of trash now in the dump and 1 rediscovered Iron meteorite.💫 So far useing a Simplex+.

That's a silver alloy tooth cap, not commonly used in modern dentistry. It could have come off by some other means but those and gold alloy tooth caps often survive cremation. Knowing that, i usually rebury them at a depth that's out of range for most detectorists.

Thanks for watching! Yea for sure it's getting chilly. I went detecting yesterday and did some water hunting. I stepped into the water and was like, OH MAN! It's very cold already!! :O Tomorrow I guess we are in for a cold front. Or perhaps it's coming tonight? Not sure, but it'll make for some cold detecting.

just picked me up an open box Apex over the weekend from Garrett
had a Etrac and it was so complex i sold it and got out of the hobby for a bit saw this and it brought back memories of the treasure pro i used to run before trading it for the Etrac and its not heavy the etrac needed an arm support just about
That's great! And you probably got it super cheap too. Nothing wrong with open box machines. Probably just used at like Road Shows and Expos, that type of thing. I'm sorry the complicated machine killed the spirit. It can happen with some of these super complex machines. But, glad you are getting back into it. The Ace machines are very user friendly.

Wow, you’re an early bird. You’ve always had the best luck around trees. That definitely was a dental cap, probably stainless steel. This is probably a dumb question but what caused those flattened out paths in the sand where there were no ripples. Is that where you were walking. We’re snowed in at our Michigan place with 12” of snow on the ground. There won’t be much metal detecting going on today. HA HA !!!
You know I love the trees! :D I think we are all thinking it's some kind of cap for a tooth. Someone even mentioned it could be some ashes that someone tossed at the beach. I hadn't thought about that but it's a good possibility! That's a really good question actually. I hadn't noticed until you asked and I went back and watched the video. I'm not 100% sure but maybe it's part of the beach that's flatter so the water doesn't have the momentum to move the sand around as much? Not sure though...
Amy consideration to going with a carbon fiber scoop handle?
I actually do have a carbon fiber handle on my other scoop. It's an Anderson carbon fiber and it's on my T-Rex scoop. I'll have to get it out on a hunt soon so you can see it.
That does look like someone lost a crown from a tooth .

Looks like they don't make this specific scoop anymore and their others are out of stock at most places. But, these guys seems to have one in stock, seriousdetecting.com/ I've never worked with them before so can't speak to their customer service.

Yes it is a crown..probably someone spread ashes from an urn.usally 10-16k with palladium $$
