This song is amazing and I love it. I first heard it on the radio at work and I love horns in the background and saw how he diversified with other instruments which is amazing and thats so awesome and classy. At first I thought it was Ray Lamontagne so I did a search and found him. I think its a good dance tune as well. It cheers me up and i think this is a timeless peace. Geeze, 10 years old and I'm just hearing it now, damn. I hope this guy goes on and on, and uses this song to keep his beat up and harmony cheerful like this number1 tune.
James has a very soulful voice. Love this song in particular. Now, I'll stick my head on the block here and suggest again that Mr Paul Carrack covers this - suits his 'liquid blue-eyed soul' voice to a 'T'. Don't believe me? Catch PC on Tour from 16 Oct in the UK and hope that he sings 'No Doubt about It!!!!!
Oh yeah, and forgot to say how much his early stuff really reminded me of a very young Stevie Wonder in parts.........check out some early stuff from them both to see if anyone agrees
i seriously think this 1 dislike was either 1. a def guy who saw all the likes and comments about hearing people's stuff and shit and just hated for a reason 2. a xenophob who's scared of anything that is not like him or of familiar visual appearance, so he disliked for the dutch people. and that singer. and the other people. who are they? what do they fucking want, hum?! he doesn't know. he's scared. he dislikes. 3. an accident. 4. a psycho who has a obsessive compulsive dis(like)order
Typical european to be clapping all the way through the song, instead of just be listening and take it all in.. Guess its our way of showing our respect to the artist, as a gesture of pleasure towards the music.
My favourite version of this song. What a singer. 💪💪
One of the best live singers ever!
I just now re found this song after a few years and I still know every word this song is awesomely ridiculous.
Ah, finally. Solid, quality music from real musicians with real instruments with no editing. How raw and refreshing. Thank you, James.
I was thinking the same thing. Today is my day of discovering this fantastic artist and was thinking the very same thing. He sounds GREAT.
The chords for this song are ridiculous. Why is he so talented?!

The tall background singer looks so sad...she might have been experiencing the theme of the song. Great performance though!
looks like Maher Zain lol
ehhhh.... Brett Dennen and Tallest Man on Earth are better IMO
