Absolutely... much better singer and songwriter than the ginger guy. Just a shame he feels he needs to over sing and do vocal acrobatics when he's performing live. He just needs to let the the fine lyrics and the beautiful tone of his voice do the job.

I heard this cat and saw his video in 2010 0n a Saturday afternoon and remembered finding out he came out in I thought was 2008, only later to find out it was 2006!
Anyway I was mesmerized by his voice and his guitar Style and I video taped him singing this song on a New York City Street and I was blown away by the show stopping style his voice crescendo to the Broadway
Style stage lights with blaring horns and violins.
Any way I overdosed myself on that song and video because their was something fimliar about it I couldn't put my finger on something I might have connected to I know to the past but I couldn't figure it out. I gave up and got caught up in other serious issues in my life well as I forgot about the song and the young man that sang it.
Then last weekend I was watching a movie and I could faintly here the tune and could only capture a few verses and I search on the internet to the song it came from and I found it!!
And I listen with joy of rediscovering this treasure.
But that old Of familiarity but to whom came back to me and I was talking to a friend about it to when I last heard the tune what is it, The voice then bam as he gets to the second verse of the tune it hit me! !

I would not go as far to say, Steve, but maybe a close Michele Bolton! But the thing about James is so unique I would not put him in a category with anyone! For instance, when I'm listing to this particular song he reminds me of no one he just makes my soul float! And when the song is over I'm left smiling! And not too many songs can do that to me!
