As I was alone, dying of COVID, I could faintly hear this song in the hospital coming from someone's radio. I have 12 sisters, 10 brothers-in-law, one set of twin sons, and a set of twin grandsons. My family was not allowed to visit me and I was too sick to care. Somehow this song got trapped in my brain, over and over until it just stopped me from the will to die. Music is the lifeline that Jesus reached out to me with. I am still here and I keep searching out this song when I start to feel down.

James is an incredible underrated musician and I love everything he has done. I was lucky enough to see him perform in Northampton a few years ago in his hometown. I'm sure i bumped into him busking in Kingsthorpe outside Northampton when I was a student in the early 00's. His voice is so distinctive, just a class act. This was our first dance song on our wedding day, 11 years ago today. We meet through a Councillor who set us up 13 years ago.
This song means so much to us and provides us with so much comfort.
James is an incredible underrated musician and I love everything he has done.
I was lucky enough to see him perform in Northampton a few years ago in his hometown.
I'm sure i bumped into him busking in Kingsthorpe outside Northampton when I was a student in the early 00's.
His voice is so distinctive, just a class act.

I lost my Son, he was 31 but passed just before 32. James's songs ring out. James apparantly was born very prematurely. I too had another Son born 29 weeks. Was hard and a long road. He is healthy 6ft and talented. Unfortunately I don't have any contact with him although I've tried it breaks my heart but listening to James's songs helps x

I just heard this song today for the very first time on the radio and was immediately attracted by the beautiful melody and therefore had to look it up on UA-cam so that I could listen to it again and concentrate on the lyrics ....it actually is very emotional and has brought tears to my eyes at this time of my life when I’m trying to come to terms with my mother becoming ill and the fact that she won’t be around forever .....but it’s also reminding me that life goes on and that everybody is fighting something and you have to be in control of your own happiness in the here and now !!!

It's a rainy grey morning here in central Italy (yeah, it rains too here! 😅). I am at home 'cause I lost my job. Depression made my mind way too blurry to function. And some months ago I lost the only "friend" I have ever had. I won't lie, this song brings up some memories from my younger years. I have always been alone, but in some ways it was better when I was younger, because I still had some hopes and dreams. Now it's so grey. When he says "you don't have to be alone" it makes me cry so hard. Saluti to you all, beautiful people. 🇮🇹❤️

The few few times I heard this song, I just cried and cried and cried. It really hit me that I desperately wish I had someone who cared about me like that.
