Talisman sinclair is best used with his support passive imo. Activating it even once gives you all the potency you need and you can just go all in on your count skills next turn to make sure your rupture conditionals are up for rodion and meursault.
Now it's safely assume that rupture unit can be classified into three categories based on their rupture application: 1. Potency 2. Count 3. Trigger. (The 15 potency 3+ count gimmick) Mersault fall the best as the third categories. If only we got more solid 000 id as rupture core units. Project moon, please
Regarding talisman sinclair and how it takes ages to set up IF he is DEPLOYED, i've seen a few people that worked around this by using his support passive.... inflict talisman on highest HP sinner equal to glut res x (number i forgot), as talisman is a double way edge, who has it inflicts potency equal to talisman on hit and gains potency when hit, with some brain usage it can be used every turn, it is gonna go to amazon prime rodya which would usually be around 15-24 potency per turn from rodya alone.... with a walpurgis don or some other count thing both rodya and meur start slaying hard if K corp hong is deployed i think it goes to him and its pretty wasteful since he has less coins, altough talisman debuff becomes harmless because its K corp hong, the immortal one
His support passive certainly makes rupture a lot more usable in regular encounters but doesn't really change much in regards to boss fights. The main issue is the distribution of gluttony skills. Most good rupture identities have their gluttony skill as their skill 3 and with the requirement to activate his passive being tied to four gluttony skills, reaching that amount when you're limited to 6 skill slots is ultimately just as unreliable as resetting until you get his skill 2 into skill 3. Good in theory but we need more skill 1 or 2 gluttony skills with at least two coins and positive rupture count for it to actually be reliable.
@@Q-Hatred In boss encounters it's better to not bring 6 people because if someone with two skill slots will get talisman, talisman's value doubles. The other thing is how you said there isn't many rupture IDs with gluttony skill 1 or skill 2 so with less teamates you are required less of those IDs.
I'm honestly surprised he isn't completely eclipsed by Kimsault, I thought he';d just be worse Kimsault when his kit dropped and he was a Poise/Rupture ID. Colour me surprised
On the talisman discussion, phase changes arent too bad if youre slotting in sinclair ae a support. Gluttony res seems to be the direction rupture will go because of it i think.
Can i make a request :Could you please make a review of the IDs. I was looking for reviews of IDs and out of all that I seen, yours are the best one explaining the ID kit. And if you do, make sure to put the title since if type a id name your videos wont show up.
I’m currently working on one actually for 1000 subscriber special video. It’s taking a while because I want it to be pretty good quality and there’s just a lot of identities in the game. Hopefully I can get it done in the next two weeks or so. Maybe 1 if I really double down.
more talisman apolication would be he worst thing to happen to rupture imo , talisman sinclair was allready a terrible addition. Rupture is a fundamentally flawed effect , if it ever gets the same support as some other effects it will kill any and all variety as rupture will become the only thing worth running , fully stacked it allows you to deal thousands of true damage every turn , PM is afraid of giving rupture any real good rupture applicating id and ego and talisman made balancing rupture even more of a nightmare

is fine, thrill deals with stuff like that easily
99 potency 1 count.
Pretty sure that applies to almost all solo runs

Some people actually use not pure Rupture but IDs with gluttony defense instead, and rely on Devyat Rodion S3 for stacking.

Mmm, what are the chances we get a Nellyusho solo next time in the future?
how did you have 12 skill slots?
Any fight where you can't control targeting the maximum number for skill slots is 12 instead of the normal 6.
