EDIT: Well the Copyright got to me as of writing this so the end since PM loves money like me. So i just replaced with a random song now which sucks. There are 2 really thought out comments here that explain mirror dungeons really well (as well as the battlepass since i forgot xddd). If you guys could please like those comments so that newer people can understand what they are. Would be appreciated. Another thing I want to add is, if you want more of a detailed explanation of the combat and since i glance over some stuff (since It's for newer players). People in the comments are recommending ESGOO. Just watched a couple of his videos and he for sure has a lot more knowledge and knows his stuff. So go check him out for sure if you want more details about combat. ESGOO Channel: www.youtube.com/@therealESGOO There is a couple of things I must that I'm gonna talk about here. One is the music. Holy shit they fucking cooked with the OST. Its so good and almost every single music used here is from the game (except for the intro part). Secondly, again mirror dungeons. If anyone in the comments wants to explain what it actually is, much appreciated. Thirdly, I know my mic is shit, had to use my phone to record xddd. So sorry about that. Fourth, the currency used for pulling is called Lunacy (they are roses). It’s a minor thing but worth noting. Fifth... THE FUCKING BATTLEPASS. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THE GAME. So comments in the comment section has stated that Mirror Dungeons helps a lot to progress the BP. The Battlepass gives you rewards such as Threads, EXP mats and BP Specifc EGO that changes every season. 2 Specific Comments here explain it very well. So i suggest you read them. Now this one isn't really about the game but more so this video I've been working on. I've never really done something like this before, and I was really passionate and happy while making this video. Unlike my other videos, I wanted this one to be done as best as I can with me having other stuff going on IRL. So I've done the best that I can and tried to do everything and I'm happy with the results at the end. So Again, thank you for watching and I will see you guys in the next one.
Thank you Mersault from famous game Limbus Company. Maybe they are suppose to have meaning in the lore (even I dont know about it since im still at canto 3). But yeah most of the interpretations ive seen so far are roses. But you may be cooking.
@@DreadBowlZ it probably has more meaning if it is a brain and spine instead of a rose as it would relate to the previous games specifically to a certain charector who I would say the load bearing pillar lorewise.
Pretty certain that they're neither roses nor entire nervous systems, considering you can see the lunacy symbol on the belly section of Headless Ichythyss. I'm not sure what it actually is, but i'm of the opinion that it's a rose in the same way that the golden bough is a trees.

A 10 pull in this game costs 1300 Lunacy, every weekly reset you get at least 300 lunacy and +750 lunacy for running mirror dungeon. + you get even more lunacy if there were any errors or bugs that the devs fixed or any events happening. On average you get at least 1 multi every week. (looks at Genshin Impact anni rewards and laughs) You can buy any ID or EGO you missed their banners for in the Dispense shop section for free (I mean the shards that you can get for free). There is a free and paid battle-pass in this game that lasts for around 4 months or more and the free pass gives more stuff than you would normally see in other battle-passes, and it has overflow that gives selectable shards to buy things in the dispense. Worried about not completing the battle-pass? 1 weekly mirror dungeon run will give you 1/6th of the pass that lasts for at least 4 months. And the battle-pass exclusive rewards you can buy in the dispense section later anyway if you don't get them. The price for a 4 month battle-pass is somehow slightly cheaper than what I normally see for a 1 month battle-pass in other games. This is probably the most f2p and consumer friendly gacha I have ever seen. (The only other gacha that comes somewhat close to being this f2p that I can think of is Princess Connect but even there you have event limited units (also screw Crunchyroll))
Another thorough explanation, I legitimately completely forgot about the battle pass and Its actually quite important and I cant believe I legit forgot an important part. Thanks again for the explanation.
Princess connect re dive was THE MOST f2p gacha, you could get insane amounts of gems during events. So sad that crunchyroll took it down because they are so greedy....
Dont forget that battle pass can also be purchased with ingame currency and at some poiny it gives back more currency than you spent on it plus the rewards. Man at this point i hope they find out some small bugs so we get lunacy lol. Jokes aside, project moon is extremely generous towards their players and thats why i really adore this company. Edit: it does give more than 1300 lunacy but they are not paid ones.
Yeah (Clueless). Naah but I mainly said that so I can avoid spoilers (as i wrote in the video )since I kinda got spoiled about ID's myself. But for newer people to this game, I didnt want to spoil the game much and keep it tame for them.
That's why I name IDs as e.g. Odin Heathcliff (wild hunt) Kromer Faust Philip Sinclair Ahab Ishmael, etc. etc, if it has a specific character trope, However for IDs that seem super generic like the Blade Lineage outside Mersault, I name them after faction
The purpose of the shop is that it is a way that unlucky players can still get ID's. Instead of having to wait for the banner to come along, you can use shard boxes to buy the character from the shop. You can get battle pass levels by completing mirror dungeons and if you just log on to do the daily and weekly tasks you could get everything for free from the shop.
The only limited IDs are the Walpurgisnact IDs. But you can’t but the new IDs from the current Walpurgisnact. I bought PhilClair this time around, though!
“This video is mainly made for the people who want to dip their feet…” *me who has already swan dived into a pool of degenerative tears* I’m already ahead of you, but I’ll watch this anyway for I love the city I live in!
I'm not even close to be completely ruined mentally from PM's games. The people i've talked to who have done so said its worth it. So I cant espcape from it now lol
Mirror Dungeons are your mid level content divided into normal and hard variants. The Dungeons start off by picking your difficulty, then your starting EGO gifts, which grant bonuses, stats, buffs, and or debuffs to you or enemies. Then you select your starting character ID's, but you can change these at certain points in the Dungeon. You then start the exploration by choosing a "Theme Pack" of which there are several randomly chosen, which decides what enemies you'll face, the possible EGO gifts you could pick up o. This floor of the dungeon, as well as the boss you might fight. You move from node to node, either fighting in regular battles or focused encounters, encountering events in which you make choices that will either help or hinder your team with things such as gaining/losing HP/SP, gaining EGO gifts, or gaining buffs/debuffs for future fights. There are also special combat nodes that have stronger enemies that give better loot. As you progress through a floor, you will gain "Cost" which is the in Dungeon currency you can use at rest stops typically located at the start of a floor and just before the floor boss, though Hard Mirror Dungeons only have a rest stop at the start of floors. At these rest stops you can buy new Gifts, Heal party members, sell gifts for cost, upgrade gifts, change the Identities of party members, or combine EGO gifts to make stronger ones. Normal and Hard Dungeons have 4 and 5 floors respectively that increase in difficulty as you progress. At the end of each floor will be a boss, though there are also optional mini bosses on event nodes. Clear all floors and you are rewarded with a large amount of Battle Pass XP as well as a chunk of Lunacy. Clearing a Dungeon with the weekly bonus will give you more rewards, though you only have 3 per week. Clearing a Hard Dungeon allows you to use all 3 at once, paying out the same as 3 Normal clears. Allies who die in Dungeons are dead for the rest of the trip, so be sure to switch up who you send in to combat if they're low on HP. Happy hunting, Managers.
To summarize this game, "You are playing a game of collaboration of different stories in a very fk up city. The game is good, the story is good, and the gacha system is good."
Another very important mention is quite literally a hidden mechanic, which is the friend system. This system also allows you to use IDs that are in the company tab from that user. Which will help a lot in most encounters in the game. Apparently most Limbus players don't know this.
You're right actually. The friend system is probably one of the best ones in any gacha games ive seen. Being able to friend anyone from around the world is something important if you have friends online. Good catch and Thank you for making me remember about it.
@@DreadBowlZ It's funny too because players mostly find this mechanic after suffering on a certain fight in Canto 5, that's also how I found out because my friend told me while I was in Canto 3. But yeah, not knowing about this only applies to new players, they'll find out eventually.
@@mahmosiii found this borrow friend id mechanic mechanic after some funny boss fight in canto 5 yes "after" it the most painful experience got spend 3 days to find all tactics to beat him but after i beat him 1 days later i find out about you can borrow friend id...
To clarify the statement at 2:40! We *DO* know what the Golden Bough is, but not WHY the Golden Bough is, or HOW it is. They're [[A Huge Lobotomy Corporation Spoiler]] and as such they're deeply tied into the nature of Abnormalities, Enkephalin production, the existence of Lunacy, and the Distortion Phenomenon. As for why they're so powerful compared to what we know of their origins, and how any of this is tied into the goals of Limbus Company... THAT is a very good question. :V
Okay i see, as i noted in the video, not played through lobotomy corp yet so it would make sense why I wouldnt know. As for new players too, (if theyve never gotten into the PM universe.) Thank you for clarifying.
@@Microecobus My point exactly And regardless of EGO or base skill effects, several strong passives (both support and active) have absolute resonance requirements alongside their base resonance minimum for activation. I'm unaware what the first reply is playing to think like that because it's not limbus company lol
@@et1033Hard to have a res of x sin afinity if you don't have a team for it that's just what I meant. For me its easy to do a a-res cuz I started with an envy team luckily So at the start of the game its irrelevant despite what the tutorial says.
it's crazy remembering how this game started out, season 1 having to level up MD identities manually, lack of pity system until late season 1 to season 2, Nclair being the first negative coin ID and the disappointment that was Sunshower heathcliff only weeks later, sinners gaining their skill slots randomly this game really has come a long way -as the winrate button still has everyone target a single staggered enemy in focused fight-
The beggining was really rough, the gameplay only got somewhat good with the first hard MD dungeon more or less cause tanks got a reason to exist because every enemy would roll a 20 on that version of the dungeon so it was decently hard. "K corp ampule PTSD"
I've just spent $60 on the new banner and got jack and shit. It definitely qualifies even if it's super forgiving and gives you more than enough Lunacy if you stay on your dailies.
@@alastor8091 Well just for future reference and from the experience: Walpurgis events is THE ONLY sink of currency for the majority of players, so you just happened to pull on a bad time. 1 season pass is enough spending in this game to eventually get everything.
The mirror dungon is crutal to leveling up the Battle pass which once you get past the end of the normal and enter the EX teir (post 120) you can grind out crates which give shards which you can use to shard ids and ego from the shop. (Ex teir gives 1 crate if you didnt buy the battle pass if you did it gives you 3 crates and if you buy the BP right before the end of the season and you got to lets say BP lv 1600 you will get the crates and whatever the pre EX bp teir gives) Once you unlock MD hard if you do 3md hard a week along with all your dailys and weeklys you with no extra effort get 43.5 BP lvs a week. If you do extra MD runs generaly they are MD normal because it is more efficient aka faster easier and after using up the 3 weekly md charges both modes of md give same reward of 3BP lvs. I am at BP lv 1700 for this season idr the previous seasons but i am a day 1 player.
Thank you for giving more of a rundown on the mirror dungeon than I ever could. And yes I just realised that I forgot to explain the BP at all. Thank you.
whats your reason to do 3 md hard? the reason you do it on hard is so you do it once and it consumes all 3 charges, do you like to torture yourself? And how hard do you no life the game to be at BP 1700 what are you even gonna use all the dang crates for and how many do you even have, 4000-5000 crates? you just lose half of them next season anyways.
@@CryDeathwing if you spend 1 charge at a time with hard you get a little extra BP lv 2.5 levels. Also I'm a slightly above average Limbus player in terms of BP grinding I only do 2 MD runs a day for hard it is like 50 minutes per run and for normal takes 30-40 minutes per run depending on how efficient I am. I have heard tales of people with BP lv 3000-5000.
@@CryDeathwing I also am at around 1000 crates maybe a bit below because I don't Gatcha I shard all IDs and ego (excluding Walp where I dump all my gamba to get it now and not next Walp) I also Uptie 4 all ids and ego.
Personally, Canto 3 is still my favourite to this day. Kromer + Demian is still an unbeatable hype combo also easily the best dungeon in the game so far. Canto 4 was a bit too sluggish at times. Canto 5 was really good, especially in difficulty, but the highlight was Ricardo over the entire dungeon. Canto 6 felt too same-y and no dungeon was the killing blow for me.
Fair, I can see your perspective. Seem like you enjoy dungeons. But I am a story person. And I'm actually glad there was no dungeon in canto 6. Canto 3, for me, really set how far Limbus would go with their story (Limbus is the only PM game I played). But as someone who really value character development, canto 4 and 5 was my favorite. Especially canto 4. Though was very badly paced both gameplay and story wised, the story itself hit close to my heart, as someone who had gone through depression before. Canto 5 I would argue were paced a bit weird like canto 4. Ricardo for me was just another side thing. He is great, I just don't think him being there add anything except hype and world building. But the dungeon story was worth it (not the fight tho, those abno sucks). Canto 6 Was like watching a movie. It wasted no time, straight to the point. Hype after hype. 6-48 was amazing. But the story itself was so stupid it doesn't make any sense. Still I enjoyed it.
Its genuinely crazy how every video review that talks about Limbus company calls it an amazing game , not that they are wrong tho Limbus company is amazing
And then there's Pat of PatstaresAt formerly from SuperBestFriendsPlay. Though he's not wrong that the tutorial and the subsequent 1st Canto needs to be overhauled in both explaining how the mechanics work as well as the animation of the default IDs. PMoon is notorious for their poorly explained tutorials.
I like how most of us PM fans have been sleeper agents every time their previous titles gets played. But with all the limbus content I’ve been a totally awake agent lmao
At this point, because of a certain wifeless man, the game is already flying, with its perfect wings Tho should it be gatekept more? Prob not, their game is amazing and billion must PLAY.
The "shop" or dispenser is used to get ID's and egos way easier than if you do it with the gacha, and the way you get it using character shards (the things to get threads) and you will usually get your shards from boxes which you get from the battle pass (which don't worry, without it you still get some but you get a lot if you buy it)
You use the shop/dispensery for saving lunacy and guaranteeing an identity you want at the cost of egoshards, This is useful for the game's walpurgisnacht event due to the fact that you can't dispense walpurgisnacht ids and ego until after their respective event has passed. Also, It's useful for getting seasonal identities that you weren't able to get at the last second, Since otherwise they'd be unavailable for an entire season after that
First comment got deleted somehow so for new players again: Dispense is the best way to get 000 units and EGO you want. With the Limbus pass and just leveling it up usually with Mirror Dungeon runs you can get the yellow packs that let you choose Egoshards. Outside of Walpurgisnacht you can easily avoid any gacha with that. You could avoid it entirely if you’re willing to wait until the following Walpurgisnacht event (about 3-4 months) as the previous units will be available in dispense now. Thank you for reading and have fun.
I don't know why your comment got deleted apparently you're not the first one this happened to. But very useful tip that a lot of people might not know about and even useful for newer players
@@DreadBowlZ I think it was just an error on UA-cam’s end because I kept editing it to be as thorough as possible so that’s basically the diet version. I believe most people will be able to work out the specifics though. Thanks for the reply.
Mirror Dungeons are important, not only are they your way to get weekly gacha currency, but also gets you BP EXP for crates that you can trade for shards of any specific character you want, if you buy the battle pass then your gain gets tripled making it pretty easy to just unlock any new ID for free, which is why everyone says Project Moon sucks at making gachas lmao. They do still earn plenty through the Battlepass and the extra packs though.
Quick tip for any beginners (I myself only found out nearing the end of Canto 5) You can "Offset" defensive skills by making one of your sinners use a defensive skill on it, aswell. If a boss is using a very strong guard or evade skill that will surely deny your damage completely, prioritize guarding againg their defense with a weaker sinner, so the stronger ones can actually hit with full damage. This, however, does not work on counters, as a counter will activate immediately against the first source of damage against its user.
Just to note to people who doesn't know, if you bring less Sinners into a focused encounter, they will gain an additional skill slot, which may sound weird at first but it's apparently really OP to have one sinner have more skill slots. Which is also why solo runs are viable as long as you manage health.
Ishmael's struggle was the peakest peak. Hit way harder for me irl than Heathcliff's love story. Most people can't relate to having a one true love, but I know a lot of us can relate to having an obsessive hate that eats away at us. Literally cried listening to Compass.
Canto 3 is peak. Best dungeon, most interesting villain, best boss theme, Demian showing up out of the *blue* For me, the final dungeon is what decides most of my ranking of a Canto, unless there is something major outside of it. 4 was too dragged out at certain points. The best part of Canto 5 was the second. 6 had no dungeon, instantly took my rating down a lot, overall story was pretty much not developed at all. All we got was the human mush stuff in terms of that. And just like Ricardo in Canto 5, vergillius stole the show from the actual stuff going on.
@@Camazotzer Dang, all that nice writing for Canto 6 all for it to be boiled down in your eyes to: no final dungeon, Vergilius somehow stealing the show even though he appeared for one fight, human mush, and somehow having an underdeveloped story
@@CamazotzerThe fact that canto 6 had no dungeon at the final stage made it 2 times better and they should keep doing it, also terrible takes on your part, i believe the writing and character development on canto 4, 5 and 6 becomes much more apparent through the story than 1, 2 and 3. (like, my boy Yi sang is so different now from who he used to be before canto 4)
I love how this video should be a video that introduces people to the game, and then there's a lot of memes scattered around that you would not understand until you've played the game 😂
For the people who apparently said that P Moon doesn’t know how to make gacha, they might be right… but they know how to make an amazing story, and sell their characters as people, and not as wank material
Big thing for newer players : It’s better to spend your lunacy AT LEAST once per day to get extra enkaphalin than to pull. 26 Lunacy (first refill)for a full energy bar is insane value. The Dispenser can be used to unlock IDs and EGOs from past seasons using character shards. You can always work towards another character in this game! The season pass lasts for about 4 months and is infinitely farmable, with no weekly cap. Go wild.
Mirror dungeons are like the story dungeons but more rng, its essentially a roguelite run bcuz the run is kinda randomly generated. For easy mode (left side), there will be 4 floors and hard mode(right side) is 5 floors. Each floor will have a boss at the end, the difference is that there is no 1 path unlike story dungeons. There will be nodes for different kinds of encounters. For this season's mirror dungeon, we get to choose a floor theme(the booster pack thing) before we enter the floor which will determine the type of enemies you will encounter that floor as well as the boss(some themes have 1 choice of boss and other 2 or 3). After clearing each floor, you get to pick ego gift but it also comes with an enemy buff (refusing to take an ego gift will still randomly pick an enemy buff so dont refuse it) You can get up to 750 lunacy each week from MD runs. You will have to do easy thrice or hard once. I forgot the easy battlepass exp ratio but hard mode gives 23ish battle pass LEVELS with the weekly boosts (cost 18 enkephalin modules to claim tho). Any run without the boost will cost you 5 enkephalin module for 3 battlepass LEVELS. Now onto math. You can refill your enkephalin meter using lunacy up to 10 times a day each time getting more expensive. A 35 pulls cost 4550 lunacy. 2 refills cost 28 + 56 = 78 lunacy. 4550/78 *2 = 116.6 refills per day. Assuming your enkephalin meter' max is 120, 116 refills gives you 116*120 =13920 energy which is 13920/20=696 modules, which is 696/5=139.2 MD runs. At max level of the battlepass, you get 1 choosable shard crate for every level and 1+2 if you get the paid pass. Each MD run gives 3 bp levels as stated before. 139*3=417 crates for f2p. A crate's average drop is 2 shards. 417 * 2= 834 which is TWO 5STARS from the dispense shop. I dont recommend grinding this if youre a new player tho.
Tbh, this is also quite important since i have seen no one really talk about this And he also forgot one huuuge thing. First that huge thing is skill types, not the colour but rather, blunt, slash and pierce. Each enemy generally has one of them as a weakness (2x damage) one neutral and one resistant (0.5X damage). This can make it so that sometimes its better to bring a different team because they are resistent to something. And now the thing i saw no one talk about. Unlike in other gacha games, sometimes øø can be better then øøø. For the start of the game when you dont really have anything yea just get øøø and shove them into a team but once you actually get some ID's and start planning teams then you need to think. The best example i can give are teams that are scentered around the tremmor and burn status effects (not gonna detail what they do) But for burn there are just not enough øøø ID's to make a 6 man team (btw, at chapter 5 and onwards its mostly 6 sinners in 1 battle) since there are only 5 with two being on the same character actually making it so you can only take 4 into battle. This either means you take generalists into your team that dont have synergy or you take øø burn ID's! Burn teams are also heavy on the blunt type damage but øø id's can fix it with one being mostly slash and pierce focused and another blunt and pierce. And now for tremmor, there are moooore then enough øøø id's for that but most people like to the øø id of ishmeal with them because of the pure raw potency and count that is just unmatched. I just like to think that øøø is generally where most the damage comes from but øø brings utility or they fill gaps when your team gets countered too hard by something. So yea, dont forget about your øø id's since some are even better then øøø and some øøø are worse then even the base ID's...
Good catch actually, the 3 types of attacks that are available in the game is actually important. so thank you for pointing that out. Secondly about the rarities of characters. I think if most people know what a gatcha game is. They should know about lower ranked units aka øø being better than some øøø. I think its like a personal thing on me since im use to like some 4 star characters being better than 5 stars (especially in hsr and genshin.) Thank you for letting me know about the 3 types of attack tho. Much appreciated
@@suitcaseofsmarts Well, in a high-level mirror dungeon I think burn and bleed have their upside. With the right combination of ego gifts, they can deal much damage to the enemy. Making floors 4 and 5 a breeze. Sinking and tremor can do that too but with more investment. Like T corp don S3/ Euditory Hong Lu or Everlasting setup for tremor. Solemn lament Yi Sang and Wild Hunt for sinking.
@@suitcaseofsmarts Burn and bleed are best for speedrunning MD due to how strong their gifts are, but outside of MD, yeah burn sucks. Bleed I haven't played so I don't know
Resonance doesnt do anything is half true Normally Resonance just increase your Offense Level, if you Absolute Res it goes even higher And this matter because some Passives or Skill need you to have Resonance Like Liu Rodion for example, if you have 3 Wrath Res, she deals Bonus Damage if every enemy on field has Burn damage But she has a Bonus if the Res is Absolute Res, she and other ID's get Bonus to damage equal to the Res number, she even gets bonus benefit if said ID's that get them are same faction as her AKA Liu Association
Yeah I saw a lot of comments about it. It must be an early game thing where, it won't really as much. Later however when you have to actually use your brain against stronger enemies, manage affinities, upcoming skills and stuff like that, resonance might make the difference in the fight.
To add upon the ego, with non-base ego (aka the one you get at the start of the game) you can overclock them for extra resources, making them strong but at the cost of most of them randomly targeting enemies. You also get to use ego when a sinner's sanity hits -45 (and have more than base ego) with the downside being that they now can target your fellow sinners. There's also a chance for them to target sinners if you overclock ego at low sanity.
Long Storytime for anyone curious about my personal Limbus journey to this video: This video is so surreal because just a couple months ago I was oblivious to this game when visiting my cousin for summer vacation, I see him playing Limbus on his computer and I go “what the hell is that, it looks cool”. He told me what it was and it was a great gacha game and all that, which I was skeptical about diving into because I had already invested into playing another one before so I was worried it would take up a lot of my time but he assured me it was easy to pickup and play on and off. For the first 2 weeks or so I was so stubborn about trying it that him and his brother would constantly start making references to the game that I would have no idea meant and I would have to endure it for a while until I tried it. Once I budged I tried it for a couple minutes then hours then everyday I grew attached to every single character, their interactions, the story, the music, the gameplay, it felt like everything I ever wanted in a game and I couldn’t believe it was free. I looked at the gacha system and saw it blow so many other games out of the water. I looked at the dev team with their constant bug fixes and super generous compensations. Day after day I would come back to playing this game, learning the mechanics and how to effectively immerse myself in this crazy ass series, it was somehow both filled with goofy moments that make me cackle and laugh, and horrifying moments that made me dread reality sometimes, all of this story just to say I ended up at this video after consuming days, or weeks worth of content, that I have now been converted into a PM Sleeper Agent just like many others, now here to gather and spread the good word of memes and such. Glory to Project Moon, and Glory to Kim Ji-Hoon.
@@joaoaugusto6290 Oh I definitely will, because right now Don Quixote is in my top 3 list of sinners, and she is definitely to rise to #1 if it they put as much work into her Canto as they did Yi Sang, Ishmael, and Heathcliff, they all hit extremely hard and it’s gonna feel weird putting focus on a character who is half meant to be played as a joke but im excited
You know whats funny, I dont understand the sleeper agent bit at all. But yeah this truely is an amazing game. Went on this completely blind and I fell in love with the variety in story they provide. Story narrative has always been something I enjoy and this hits all the spot for me. I will for sure keep playing it and I plan on playing and streaming canto 4 tomorrow so I'm really excited
@@DreadBowlZ the sleeper agent joke is kinda just a thing in most communities where they have a tight knit fanbase and whenever a word that is commonly used or an image that almost looks like it came from their game is used somewhere else, they feel recognized and band together to pile on as a meme. It’s basically the crazier version of “omg x mention” or “x reference” but yea it’s kinda funny when it gets flooded like with some twitter posts where they mention “Wuthering Heights” or broken wings. Of course they could also be banding to push the game to more people as a whole which I hope more people do
While not a lot of constant updates happen, the ones that do are big, massively shaking up the mirror dungeons, adding new extractables, new enemies, and story. Limbus has huge updates Spoiler We also get a new command seal mechanic called Durante in canto 6. Right now it can halve speed of enemies letting you control the turn, but from the deliberately incomplete graphic when using it, there’s gonna be more modes!
Lunacy is the currency, you gain 300 free each weak for maintenance update, + 750 by doing mirror dungeon (if you don't, your miss) 3 simulation (any level character) or 1 ritornello (hard, min level 45) => you need 1300 lunacy to roll 10 extraction which give you a better chance to get you shiny IDs (yeah just seen already commented) That were the Gatcha come in, if like me you have a lot of free time, but an empty wallet, you can still get some good IDs by doing mirror each weeks; but if you just want to get IDs fast, you can just buy lunacy and extract as much as you want.
it's a very well done video. I want to mention that the chapters are way better when you hit canto 3, most of the players (myself included) skipped the full story of canto 1 and 2. It's peak we are just dumb
While it is true that skipping isn't the most efficient use of resources. If your planning to get a reasonable amount of thread it's better to skip at least for the daily bonus thread if do that everyday you'll in general have enough thread to Uptie every new ID. Now you say but I don't get enough modules! You can safely use your lunacy twice a day to pay for a refill as you only really need Lunacy 1. At the start of the game so you can get ID 2. The beginning of the Season as you can't grind until a couple of weeks in 3. Walpurgisnacht where you can't shard the NEW ID/EGO/Announcer interduced but can shard the previous ID/EGO no luck for announcers you either roll them or you don't can't even buy them (There are some Announcers you can buy but no the WP ones)
13:18 The shop is by far the best part of the economy. If you buy the paid BP (basically $10 every 5 months) and do all your dailies/weeklies, you get enough boxes to just outright buy every non walpurg ID released in the season. You get 72/week from 3 MDH runs and another 20 from missions. With each box averaging at 3 shards of your choice that is alone almost enough to buy a 000 every 2 weeks. And you use the rest of the BP + the seasonal guarantee banner + whatever you get while cashing out all your lunacy in walpurg to make up the difference
1:00 Let me guess, its the 10 base evade and the ever growing sinking stacks you can make? If so, I completly agree, molar Ish is based as hell, can carry basically any focus battle no problems.
This game artstyle and overall vibes in Library and this game remind me alot of Chainsaw Man. Even the weirdness of the world kinda matches the vibes of that manga/anime, especially how unhinged the inhabitants of the City are.
If anyone getting into the game wants to learn more about mechanics, I recommend Esgoo’s better tutorials. The videos dive into the important aspects of the games “combat” while not being completely overwhelming. While you can get by quite well by just using your strongest ID’s and win-rating in the early chapters 1,2, and maybe 3 if you’re leveled enough, the further you go, the harder it gets (obviously). Once you get to canto 5, you should be at least knowledgeable in pretty much all the main archetypes.
I've been trying to get literally any of my friends to try Limbus since it came out. Invariably, "it's a gacha though" or "I don't care about story, gameplay is everything"
Mirror dungeons is the best source of getting shard to buy id from shop 😊 (you will get yellow box that will give you random shards of any "selected" character 1-3 shards)
ESGOO Channel: www.youtube.com/@therealESGOO
There is a couple of things I must that I'm gonna talk about here.
Mirror dungeons are a semi rouge like part of the game that is where you go to grind once a week to get a bus load of rewards.
Also if you look at the lunacy you could view it as a rose or a brain and a spine for the stalk of it
Thank you Mersault from famous game Limbus Company.

(looks at Genshin Impact anni rewards and laughs)
You can buy any ID or EGO you missed their banners for in the Dispense shop section for free (I mean the shards that you can get for free).

To summarize this game,
"You are playing a game of collaboration of different stories in a very fk up city.

1 season pass is enough spending in this game to eventually get everything.
The mirror dungon is crutal to leveling up the Battle pass which once you get past the end of the normal and enter the EX teir (post 120) you can grind out crates which give shards which you can use to shard ids and ego from the shop. (Ex teir gives 1 crate if you didnt buy the battle pass if you did it gives you 3 crates and if you buy the BP right before the end of the season and you got to lets say BP lv 1600 you will get the crates and whatever the pre EX bp teir gives)
Once you unlock MD hard if you do 3md hard a week along with all your dailys and weeklys you with no extra effort get 43.5 BP lvs a week. If you do extra MD runs generaly they are MD normal because it is more efficient aka faster easier and after using up the 3 weekly md charges both modes of md give same reward of 3BP lvs.

Also, It's useful for getting seasonal identities that you weren't able to get at the last second, Since otherwise they'd be unavailable for an entire season after that
First comment got deleted somehow so for new players again:
Dispense is the best way to get 000 units and EGO you want.

Walpurgis night moment
Quick tip for any beginners (I myself only found out nearing the end of Canto 5)
You can "Offset" defensive skills by making one of your sinners use a defensive skill on it, aswell.
"I need outis in my life" same
Just to note to people who doesn't know, if you bring less Sinners into a focused encounter, they will gain an additional skill slot, which may sound weird at first but it's apparently really OP to have one sinner have more skill slots. Which is also why solo runs are viable as long as you manage health.
If he think canto 3 is peak wait till he gets to 5 and 6
5 Was kinda mid tbh, 4 and 6 on the other hand yeah, very good.
Best dungeon, most interesting villain, best boss theme, Demian showing up out of the *blue*
For me, the final dungeon is what decides most of my ranking of a Canto, unless there is something major outside of it.
After clearing each floor, you get to pick ego gift but it also comes with an enemy buff (refusing to take an ego gift will still randomly pick an enemy buff so dont refuse it)
You can get up to 750 lunacy each week from MD runs.

RAINING BULLETS
Got my Outism rising with this one
The best example i can give are teams that are scentered around the tremmor and burn status effects (not gonna detail what they do)
But for burn there are just not enough øøø ID's to make a 6 man team (btw, at chapter 5 and onwards its mostly 6 sinners in 1 battle) since there are only 5 with two being on the same character actually making it so you can only take 4 into battle.
I think its like a personal thing on me since im use to like some 4 star characters being better than 5 stars (especially in hsr and genshin.)
Thank you for letting me know about the 3 types of attack tho. Much appreciated
burn and bleed are ass rn, sinking is much better due to solemn lament
@@suitcaseofsmartsbillions must use sinking and tremor
Bleed I haven't played so I don't know
Resonance doesnt do anything is half true
Normally Resonance just increase your Offense Level, if you Absolute Res it goes even higher
And this matter because some Passives or Skill need you to have Resonance
Like Liu Rodion for example, if you have 3 Wrath Res, she deals Bonus Damage if every enemy on field has Burn damage
But she has a Bonus if the Res is Absolute Res, she and other ID's get Bonus to damage equal to the Res number, she even gets bonus benefit if said ID's that get them are same faction as her AKA Liu Association
Project moon mentioned, its time for the wild hunt
Long Storytime for anyone curious about my personal Limbus journey to this video:
This video is so surreal because just a couple months ago I was oblivious to this game when visiting my cousin for summer vacation, I see him playing Limbus on his computer and I go “what the hell is that, it looks cool”. Once I budged I tried it for a couple minutes
then hours
then everyday
I grew attached to every single character, their interactions, the story, the music, the gameplay, it felt like everything I ever wanted in a game and I couldn’t believe it was free.
Beautiful Journey, happy to have you on board fellow sleeper agent
Can't wait for canto 7 and Hope you Enjoy It too
@@joaoaugusto6290 Oh I definitely will, because right now Don Quixote is in my top 3 list of sinners, and she is definitely to rise to #1 if it they put as much work into her Canto as they did Yi Sang, Ishmael, and Heathcliff, they all hit extremely hard and it’s gonna feel weird putting focus on a character who is half meant to be played as a joke but im excited
Of course they could also be banding to push the game to more people as a whole which I hope more people do
Consume the Fairy Wine Chalice, Dante..
While not a lot of constant updates happen, the ones that do are big, massively shaking up the mirror dungeons, adding new extractables, new enemies, and story. Limbus has huge updates
Spoiler
We also get a new command seal mechanic called Durante in canto 6. Right now it can halve speed of enemies letting you control the turn, but from the deliberately incomplete graphic when using it, there’s gonna be more modes!

Lunacy is the currency, you gain 300 free each weak for maintenance update, + 750 by doing mirror dungeon (if you don't, your miss) 3 simulation (any level character) or 1 ritornello (hard, min level 45) => you need 1300 lunacy to roll 10 extraction which give you a better chance to get you shiny IDs (yeah just seen already commented)
That were the Gatcha come in, if like me you have a lot of free time, but an empty wallet, you can still get some good IDs by doing mirror each weeks; but if you just want to get IDs fast, you can just buy lunacy and extract as much as you want.
it's a very well done video. I want to mention that the chapters are way better when you hit canto 3, most of the players (myself included) skipped the full story of canto 1 and 2. It's peak we are just dumb

1:00 I didn’t take my pills
not having a separate category for the soundtrack is a sin
Its in the pinned comments. But yes i should be locked up (please dont murder me)
While it is true that skipping isn't the most efficient use of resources.
You can get any WN announcer of your choice from a 200-pull pity on that banner, including those of previous WN events.
i was NOT ready for that first second
13:18
The shop is by far the best part of the economy.
The only thing you forgot is to do your daily’s.

This game artstyle and overall vibes in Library and this game remind me alot of Chainsaw Man. Even the weirdness of the world kinda matches the vibes of that manga/anime, especially how unhinged the inhabitants of the City are.
Ngl im a fan of both and i straight up dont see the similiarities outside of the emotional themes of family and friends both have.
