3:04 Bad acting by this shosh. Anybody question what this truck is doing in this remote road. These types of trucks usually ply major highways delivering to major wholesalers. Not a remote village. 6:30 blatant mishandling of food. I doubt anyone would do this in the vicinity of their customers. 6:4 why would a 15-ton truck be hired to transport 10 pieces of fish. (Adan is probably a delivery truck guy and was on his return trip from a delivery) 6:46 We clearly see an ice truck used to transport fish. Everyone seems bemused to transfer ice from this truck to adans truck 6:48 what fish factory is 10 hours away from the lake?? 7:10 Driver states. May God Bless the journey to Mbita. There is fishing in Mbita. Why are you taking fish to mbita??? Mbita Fish farms all over 7:17 70 kilometers of winding road to where. Rongo to Mbita is 70 Kilometers.(smells like fish to me. Seems like a wholesaler distributing goods to mbita from rongo) Is this a 10 hour journey as stated by adan earlier at 6.48 7:26 Nyenga to mbita is 60 km. Google maps shows it’s a 1hr 17-minute journey with two alternative routes. Wacha Niende Hivi Nakam There’s a lot of blatant misinformation and disinformation in this video to debunk. You guys should pull it down and apologize to Kenyans
You speak as someone who has lived a fortunate life, and now I see how the political class fails to understand the common citizen. What I mean is, people like you, who are unaware of the suffering on the ground, tend to forget about helping others once they become politicians. I challenge you to visit the remote parts of Kenya, which is almost everywhere except Nairobi, and see that the situations are worse than what is depicted in this film. I'm speaking from personal experience. After coming to Nairobi and meeting friends here, I was surprised to find they think Kenyans are relatively well-off. Perhaps you are one of them, or simply uninformed. Right now, my village is in a condition worse than what I've seen in this video. Just do what I've challenged you to do, go to the village completely. If you think Kibra represents the worst living conditions, at least they have electricity and Wi-Fi. Walk through the village; in my village, we grow tea. I'm sure you just drink tea but don't know the hardships these tea pluckers endure, being paid peanuts while the bosses take all the profits, and they suffer. Just as you saw that truck stuck in the mud, these pluckers have to sleep at the tea centers until their tea leaves are picked. If they don't, there's a good chance their tea leaves will spoil, resulting in lost income and no payment. People like you don't really know Kenya; you think the situation in Nairobi is all of Kenya. Take up my challenge, and I promise you'll be traumatized, speaking from personal experience.
This is heart breaking. After watching these documentaries, I stopped complaining about the things I don't have and now appreciate everything. I am extremely humble
I'm in Kenya. And I promise you this channel is one big scam. Now I don't even believe all the videos I've watched from them. They went to the bottom of the bottom and made it look like it's the whole country
Beautiful country full of good people. Left my country to go abroad some few years back. The pain of my people suffering is unbearable knowing very well we have resources that can cater for our needs. Our politicians are very corrupt stealing billions of dollars investing abroad while the hard taxed citizens suffer. Very unfortunate really, God bless Kenya 🇰🇪❤️

😂😂This is stage-managed how can one hire a full lorry just to transport a few fish. Mind you they have better options like putting the fish in a cooler box and topping it with ice. Moreover its cheaper to hire a small 4 by 4 pickup than an entire lorry just to fill it with a few fish. And for your information I am Kenyan and I fully understand how the country and business is run.
Don’t you think that guys accent is off? I’m from the uk but I know some Kenyans. His accent sounded like a mix of Kenyan Somali and Nigerian 😂 tell me what you think
Every time I see one of these videos, I think the good Lord that I live in the United States of America. Being born here or even living here is like winning the earth lottery. Americans are very blessed.
The lory blocking the road, or the one transporting fish are hired actors. Those roads are hardly used by any vehicles because. Evidence - the rural kids staring at the lory because they don't normally see vehicles on that road. There is no other traffic on that road, even motorcycles. I lived in that small town where the matatu started off know as Chemolingot, i know several of those guys 100 percent stage managed. The pastrolists life is difficult but nobody walks for 20kms for water, they had to spice the video up.
Oh my goodness I watched the stage managed and choreographed directing of the production to forcefully make up the story of the lorry getting stuck in Mbita and the big lie of getting stuck on the road with stones. Stopped watching at this point as I am a local and could see the forced lies! Shame on you!!
Such a badly written script.5 fish through a 70km stretch by a 15 tomme truck?Na ikikwama ndume zinalipwa 6k kuskuma.Make it make sense.Even the angles at which the truck skids off the road look staged.
Totally agree. I have stopped at Min 11:43. Who would transport 100kgs of fish in a lorry. It wouldnt make any economic sense. This is scripted and in very bad taste. Please pull this.
Just watch and look at the condition of the place or the people. Forget the fish since the video isn't about that. It even isn't about how a tire skids in mud, right? If you want to watch those kinds of videos, go look for trucks in mud or how to transport this many fish.
I am a kenyan and I can say without fear that this documentary is on point. The Rural rift valley is hell, drought and insecurity make life hard, back to the fishing, most of the rural roads becomes impassible due to heavy rains experienced in western kenya, for the guys who had to be paid to help push the truck, shame on you and you deserve a curse. Instead of pressuring the trader for pay, pressure your politicians to construct those roads..
😂😂 . From nyenga to the highway is less than 5 kilometres. From there, it's a highway (C19) all the way to mbita (homabay- mbita road).it's has tarmac, and it's also short, only 60 kilometres.
Everyone in this comment section claiming to be Kenyan and saying that the documentary is a lie is simply daft. Let us be honest, it is only in Nairobi where the roads are good. I commend this channel for highlighting the incompetency of the leaders and the struggles people face. As Kenyans we are hard working, we will get there but let us not lie.
It doesn't matter if the roads are bad where the truck got stuck, but would you pay 6k and your truck is carrying 100kgs of fish? Kwani how valuable is the fish?
Don't tell me you believe this story 😂. Everything seems off here. This is clearly staged. And to be fair, Kenya can't be this bad. The locations are handpicked, definitely the extremes.
I understand why some might think the conditions are staged, but having lived in rural Kenya, I can attest that these challenges are very real. The roads depicted in the video reflect the harsh realities faced by many communities. Infrastructure in these areas is often underdeveloped, making travel extremely difficult and dangerous. While it might seem shocking or exaggerated, this is the everyday reality for countless people. Raising awareness through videos like this can help drive the change that is so desperately needed.
but who buys a lorry to ply a dirt road that clearly looks no one uses and not frequented by major vehicles? When last did you travel on a major dirt road except the rural link roads which are of little economic sabotash.
The lory blocking the road, or the one transporting fish are hired actors. Those roads are hardly used by any vehicles because. Evidence - the rural kids staring at the lory because they don't normally see vehicles on that road. There is no other traffic on that road, even motorcycles. since when does a transit/container truck operate such a route? Does it make any business sense? smaller cars do the collection of goods in rural areas.
Kenya has done it again. So this scammer has decided to steal the show with a Truck and 5 fish. I think they told him that the show doesn't cover any loss and come up with a good story to become famous.
These roads don't make sense, they are clearly decommissioned roads because there are no tire tracks . Kenya has one of the best road network in Africa. And why use a whole 11 ton to ferry 5 fish?
It's plain wrong you can get from Ngeya to mbita in less than 2 hours on a motorcycle. 8-10 hours is the time it will take me to reach Nairobi from Mbita
They really tried to fit in but Kenya could not provide the usual dramatic chaos we always see in this doc/channel. As he said Kenya is one of the richest countries in Africa. This was more exaggerated and scripted. Zero adrenaline.
Now i'm pretty sure these are scripted for the cameras i mean who hires a whole truck to carry very little fishes, even if he sells the fishes at a very good price i don't think he will make money after he pay the truck driver. Also who in their right mind put the ice and fishes on the deck when every one knows he should put them in a box or some kind of plastic container in his way even if the ice melts the water would still be cold for a long time.
Waah Kenyans deserve medals for the acting on this film , I'm starting to wonder about other documentaries i have seen from this channel, first this one has several fake transcription and clearly acted out scenes.
Are they finally putting out some new episodes? I have been waiting and wondering for so long if they ever would. One of my all time favorites but i miss the old narrator, not the same without him.
This documentary is heavily scripted, especially the scene with a lorry transporting 100 kg of fish, which is highly unrealistic. As a Kenyan, I can attest to its inaccuracy. The exaggerated reactions, like people smiling and chanting while pushing the lorry and the matatu, further highlight the artificial nature of the scenes. This channel could improve by presenting more genuine and accurate depictions.
Unless the the selling price of the fish per kilo is 100 times the buying price, it doesn't make sense. And who use a lorry to transport 100 kilo, if it was cotton I can understand, as a quintal of cotton would be a big stack. 100 kilo fish, well fool..
Waiharibu barabara ndo wafilm hii kitu ama barbara ndo mbovu? This documentary is about bad roads, wewe ukitumia akili unaona izo barabara ziko sawa kweli?
One of the first things you'll experience as an independent traveller in Nairobi is being approached by young men asking for a contribution towards their schooling. Give a little. It's almost certainly NOT a scam. Just don't be ostentatious about it, or you will attract hordes more needing help.

Ruto cannot sort ALL problems of your country overnight!! All these stories come from individual county governments, with cabinets and budgets!! County governors are responsible for development of roads in their counties.
The average gdp per capita of the world is $12,688. Kenya's gdp per capita is $3,000. A whooping $9,000 below the world average. Most of rural Kenya looks like this. People in Nyandarua and Nakuru carry coffins to the homesteads because roads are impassible. Thehighway connecting Garissa to the rest of the country is always getting swept away every time it rains. Less than 10% of Kenyan roads are tarmacked. We need to be more honest with ourselves if we're to improve, this is a very common area hata hapo Ongata Rongai just outside Nairobi.
True. Hawa watu wanashinda wakiandika hapa ati "this is scripted" ni kama wanaishi middle to upper class neighbourhoods za Nairobi. Watoke huku nje wajue venye watu hii Kenya wanateseka

Sadly, northern Kenya and Victoria's islands have been neglected for long. The place is Turkana. Perhaps the oil would have given them roads but politicians bought all oil blocks and started asking for money from the oil drilling company. That is why the projects stopped. @paulke5362 kajiado County is one of the most sought-after Nairobi's bedrooms. People access their homes on difficult roads but yet work and get taxed. It's not just cows roaming about as per the stereotyping
One question. If Ice is becoming water during travel, why not catch the fish live and transport it live? Fishes will survive much longer and not spoil on the way.
Because this was scripted. Fresh fish and live fish are transported from lake Victoria to other parts of Kenya using big heavy duty fish & meat transport cooler boxes.
They just went to the deepest part of Kenya purely habited by nomads and fisher men then made it look as tough as they could, the price of leasing that truck and fueling it is literary 10 folds the money realised from that handful of fish, the roads they filmed are basically remote roads mostly used by cattle and wild animals. Lake victoria where the migingo island resides almost 500km or 300 miles away in the context of Kenya that's really far away literary no one is living there but a handful of people, honestly these is a scriped video pretty heartbreaking to see people still travel to Africa and work hard to protrey these type of images for a buck off youtube, and shame on the kenyans who were paid to participate in shaming their own country.
What kind of a statement is “when we don’t catch enough fish we don’t have enough money for food?” Fish IS food! Hopefully that was just a bad translation…
I always love these documentaries...but coming from Kenya, we are wayyy developed. Show how great Kenya is in developed areas I mean.. Africa is way developed . It isn't a jungle like how many foreigners think of it as a continent.
The documentary could benefit from a more balanced perspective, as it currently focuses predominantly on extreme poverty. Addressing income inequality, such as contrasting it with the opulent lifestyle in the same country, would provide a fuller understanding of the issues in Kenya.
It came to be as well that the video was manufactured just to get a story. Why hire a 3.3-ton truck for a handful of fish? After paying to get the truck out of ruts, and the truck hire price, what is left for the seller? Best Documentary fell down on this one
@@paulross9287 honestly they only jam it in once every episode. They'll say "because of climate change" without even explaining what happened. But the globalist overlords don't want more people. They want only 500 million on earth. These documentaries have to find difficult scenarios because the average Western audience needs to satisfy their craving for suffering. In this case, an almost a redemptive need to relate to the 'poor' suffering people of Africa. Oh well...the more I watch it, the more it glares at me. The hiring of a huge truck to transport 100kgs of fish, the bad acting from the driver and the 'businessman' (btw if you do a KRA search then Adan owns the truck). Transporting fish from the shore of lake Victoria to another side of the shore of lake Victoria using a 13 ton lorry carrying eleven fish sounds to me economically infeasible. Which leaves me with only one reason, STAGING!

(Adan is probably a delivery truck guy and was on his return trip from a delivery)
6:46 We clearly see an ice truck used to transport fish. Everyone seems bemused to transfer ice from this truck to adans truck
6:48 what fish factory is 10 hours away from the lake??
7:10 Driver states. May God Bless the journey to Mbita. There is fishing in Mbita. Why are you taking fish to mbita??? Mbita Fish farms all over
7:17 70 kilometers of winding road to where. Rongo to Mbita is 70 Kilometers.(smells like fish to me. Seems like a wholesaler distributing goods to mbita from rongo) Is this a 10 hour journey as stated by adan earlier at 6.48
7:26 Nyenga to mbita is 60 km. Google maps shows it’s a 1hr 17-minute journey with two alternative routes.
Wacha Niende Hivi Nakam
There’s a lot of blatant misinformation and disinformation in this video to debunk.

Ati 100kgs of fish😅😅

🍻THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age in which God is saving man from the imminent destruction of this old world"
(God's work throughout His administration is very clear. There are clear differences between each age, because in each age He has a work to represent that age. For the work of the last days to be fulfilled, there must be obedience, judgment, chastisement, wrath, and destruction to bring the age to an end. The last days refer to the final age. "That is, in the Age of Law, Jehovah is the name of God, and in the Age of Grace, the name Jesus represents God. In the last days, His name is Almighty God--the Almighty and He uses His power to guide man, conquer man, gain man, and ultimately wipe out the age." I am the God who rose from ends of the earth, I am full of disposition and full of authority, honor, and glory. From the creation of the World until now, no one has known Me. This is the God who appears to man in the last days but is hidden from men. There is not one person or thing that will not be judged by My words, and there is not one person or thing that will not be purified by the burning fire. In this way all people during the last days will see that I am the Savior who has returned. I am the Almighty God who will conquer all mankind. I took this name and I own this disposition, so that all people can see that I am a righteous God, and I am the blazing sun and the burning fire. And see clearly My true face: I am not only the God of the Israelites, and I am not just the redeemer--I am the God of all creation in the whole sky and earth and sea.)

In order to FULFILL the WORK of the LAST DAYS, there must be OBEDIENCE, JUDGMENT, PUNISHMENT, HATE, and DESTRUCTION to END the AGE.

I have once been recognized as Jehovah.
I have also been called the Messiah, sometimes people called Me Jesus, Savior because they loved and respected Me. But NOW I am NOT the JEHOVAH or JESUS that people knew in the past-----I AM the GOD WHO RETURNS in the LAST DAYS, WILL BRING in the TIME of the END. I am the GOD WHO RISE FROM the FAR WORLDS, I am FULL of My DISPOSITION and FULL of AUTHORITY, HONOR, and GLORY.
People have never partaken of Me, never known Me and always ignorant of My disposition. From the creation of the World until now, no one has known Me. THIS is the GOD who APPEARS to PEOPLE in the LAST DAYS but HIDDEN to PEOPLE. 🌷
He dwells with men, true and burning fire, full of power and overflowing authority. There is NOT ONE PERSON or THING My WORDS will NOT JUDGE, and NOT ONE PERSON or THING will NOT be PURIFIED in the FIRE. 🌺
In the end all nations will be blessed because of My words, and will also be broken into pieces because of My words. IN this WAY all PEOPLE DURING the LAST DAYS will SEE I am the SAVIOR RETURNING. I am the ALMIGHTY GOD who WILL CONQUER ALL mankind. 🙏💐
And for man I was ONCE the SIN OFFERING, BUT in the LAST DAYS I will be the FLAMES of the SUN that will BURN everything, as well as the SUN of righteousness that will REVEAL everything. Such is My work in the last days. I TOOK this NAME and I OWN this DISPOSITION, so that ALL PEOPLE may SEE that I am a RIGHTEOUS GOD, and I am the BURNING SUN and the BURNING FIRE. THIS is so that ALL WILL WORSHIP Me, the ONLY TRUE GOD. And so they SEE My TRUE FACE: I am not only the God of the Israelites, and I am not just the redeemer-----I am the GOD of ALL CREATION in the WHOLE SKY and EARTH and SEA." 🙏

Totally agree. I have stopped at Min 11:43. Who would transport 100kgs of fish in a lorry. It wouldnt make any economic sense. This is scripted and in very bad taste. Please pull this.
and paying 6k kuskuma
From there, it's a highway (C19) all the way to mbita (homabay- mbita road).it's has tarmac, and it's also short, only 60 kilometres.
these guys want to show some skewed perspective of Kenya. 100kg fish in a 10 tonne lorry, really?
Never in my life living in Kenya have I come across a major road that is not tarmaced

@@paulmbugua404😂😂😂😂😂. Vayolence!

The average gdp per capita of the world is $12,688. Kenya's gdp per capita is $3,000. A whooping $9,000 below the world average. Most of rural Kenya looks like this. Zimbabwe is best for Safari's and adventure, white water rafting down the Zambezi River class 4 rapids, you must sign a waiver, in case you drown or killed by a hippo or Crocodile, which are waiting at the end of the rapids, every year multiple tourists adventures die on this river along with locals that are bathing in the shallows.
Then you haven’t heard about Uganda. Here you can go on safari in more than 4 national parks, experience the only water-based safari, go hiking for mountain gorillas, chimps and multiple primates, experience water rafting and tubing on the Nile, go mountain climbing on Mt. Rwenzori or any of the other multiple mountains, get multiple cultural experiences, go bird watching in the many swamps and forests, etc etc. I mean, you can stay for a full year in Uganda and you wouldn’t exhaust the enormous tourist experiences around. It’s simply amazing 😻
@@SIRLEEonly 4, you must be joking, but good to know.
Thank God am from Western part of kenya Bunyore our roads are great Allhamdulilah
This is the remotet part of Kenya. 95% of Kenya is developed. I have realized these documentaries go to the remotest part of a particular country to make that country seem poor
45 km from Nairobi in kajiado County the roads are like this. 95% of the countryside has no roads, only central Kenya
@@Fashionanthropologistdo you want tarmac for cattle
@paulke5362 kajiado County is one of the most sought-after Nairobi's bedrooms. People access their homes on difficult roads but yet work and get taxed. It's not just cows roaming about as per the stereotyping
@@Fashionanthropologist which part of Kajiado are you talking about , Kajiado is well tarmacked, how else would we get to Tanzania

10:44 The narrator says Adan pays them peanuts for their help and the dude is handing out actual peanuts 😂😂😂😂
Im a Kenyan and this documentary is scripted especially the bush taxi was full of good actors 😅.
😂😂😂😂 my head hurts from laughing.

As vezes por tão pouco reclamamos da vida 😢😢quanto sofrimento!!!
16:08 according to M7 the island is in Kenya but the fishes are in Uganda
We welcome you to Zimbabwean friends and family
I always love these documentaries...but coming from Kenya, we are wayyy developed. Show how great Kenya is in developed areas I mean.. Africa is way developed . It isn't a jungle like how many foreigners think of it as a continent.
These documentaries say deadliest journey so obviously they will show bad roads n its not only in Africa, I watched Russian the otherday
13.5 Months, hitchhiked from Cairo Egypt to Cape Town South Africa.
only the Gen z can change Kenya
The documentary could benefit from a more balanced perspective, as it currently focuses predominantly on extreme poverty. Addressing income inequality, such as contrasting it with the opulent lifestyle in the same country, would provide a fuller understanding of the issues in Kenya.
Wish you had travelled to wajir by road and you could have seen the status of that road
Every information here is accurate, nothing has been exergerated..its on point.
This is crappy reporting. Punny minded in all aspects a 3.3 Ton lorry carrying 100kg of fish. We know better.
Agreed. Also, you would think they would know to put the fish in some kind of container, and then, put the ice on top, and cover.
It came to be as well that the video was manufactured just to get a story. Why hire a 3.3-ton truck for a handful of fish? After paying to get the truck out of ruts, and the truck hire price, what is left for the seller? Best Documentary fell down on this one
I'm sick of the climate propaganda jammed into every episode.
@@col.cottonhill6655 .thanks for the warning, I'll watch something else. This lost too much credibility
@@paulross9287 honestly they only jam it in once every episode. They'll say "because of climate change" without even explaining what happened. "These people have tough lives because of climate change!" It's so dumb life is much easier now for these people when they have access to cheap energy. It's the reason the population went up. But the globalist overlords don't want more people. They want only 500 million on earth.
Other than that it's actually kind of enjoyable watching how these people live and get through the challenges set for them.
Keep up the good work. I'm a Kenyan and I love to see the whole shown what Kenya really is. Not the sandy beaches and Maasai Mara🙄🙄🙄

I have a question, do you eat Indian street in India? I heard it was prepared in the most cleanest way. Is it true that most Indians don't know what a deodorant is for?
@@nrmandario3798 😂😂😂😂 cleanest street food ever
I dont know why kenyans are complaining yet this video unmasked the truth that other platforms rarely shows you have actually seen the true states of Rural roads the hardships of people living in arid areas yet there are governors senators and mps who earns fat salaries but their people are suffering.kenya is a rich country it just need an accountable leadership government and cease corruption.
Yeah...not best documentary anymore - just average an doc.
I am Kenyan and I give you 150% Marks for this epic depiction of the situation in Kenya. Kenyans are very patriotic and I would understand why they are insulting the maker of this documentary. However, even though everyone has their own truth, there is the real truth and I believe this documentary is very close to the truth if not the actual reality. Keep it going.
hahaha! I thought I was the only one who saw that. Unless that 10 tonne truck and driver are free of charge... those 10 fish don't make sense. Also the processing plant is next to the lake? A boat could be more convincing.
Definitivamente aquí no somos ricos pero vivimos en el paraíso...😮
