In Malawi, a small state in southern Africa, the Phirilongwe Mountains are a very hard-to-access region. Isolated and cut off from the rest of the world, hundreds of villagers struggle to survive because most of them don’t have access to drinking water. The exhausting labor of gathering water is a question of life or death. Kurt Dahlin, an American pastor, who has been coming to Malawi for 20 years to dig wells, was distraught by this unbearable situation. This year, Kurt has taken on the challenge of helping the people of Phirilongwe, but the task is daunting. Without a road, it’s impossible for a truck carrying a drilling rig to reach the village. If they are to experience the life-changing gift of clean drinking water, the community must come together and carve out stretches of roadway through the heart of the African savannah. It’s a collective effort that could transform their future.
My people, my Malawi. We face so much hardships but we are always smiling. Thank you to everyone who went out and helped those beautiful souls out there..
@@arnorobinwerkmanThere are a few more. Quite a few. The bad apples get all the press. The good gets suppressed. We can't have people thinking of YHWH & HIS representatives in a positive light.
The most emotional (in a good way) documentary I have ever watched. Thank you to Pastor Kurt for your work and that is what God wants us to do, help others and not be like the pastors that always take from you. GOD bless you and your team
Am in tears of happiness the lady sitting beside the former water well saying u will never came here again to fetch water that's soo good. To the American pastor, thank you so very much may the almighty grant your wish. The world must be one for our future development no the war. Malawi is a very poor country compared to mine that's kenya let's help one another in God's name. Thank you and thank all those whom supporting you projects
Thank you to the American Pastor, Thank you to all the people who never give up, Thank you to the teachers from the city who travel deep into the villages to help. To my Pan-African brothers/sisters who are good at pointing fingers, we should be on the ground doing what the Pastor is doing.
Humanity at its peak, its a good feeling seeing those ladies rejoice after a well is dug and water comes out,God bless the father, well diggers and everyone who took part in bringing accessible water because water is life
Saya sangat terharu melihat kondisi di sana serba sulit....terima kasih bpak pastor Tuhan selalu memberkati pastor dalam melayani sesama di sana... Big hurt ❤❤
This episode touched me in ways I can hardly express. Kurt, I am deeply grateful for your kindness and relentless dedication-thank you, from the depths of my heart. To the resilient women, men, and children of Malawi, you are strong, beautiful, and courageous. My heart is with you in this challenging time. Stay bold, and know you are not alone.

The fact that even the small kids are lending hands to help clearly shows how determined people of Malawi and greater Africa are. God bless those who come to help bring fresh water
A superb watch! Though this episode had very little to do with "dangerous roads", it had everything to do with "dangerous hopes". The hope to find water.
Recently I have seen this documentary and it is very amazing. Nowadays most of the people are living under the shadow of Al and many facilities. But some people are living a life like hell. Even though the basic need is fresh water, the government is not able to provide it to its citizens. According to me, fresh water, education, security and medical care are the basic needs of everyone. But due to some corrupt politicians, they are not able to provide any facility to their citizens. First of all I would like to thank the pastor and his team who are providing fresh water to the citizens and children. After the release of this documentary, the government should help its citizens and build new roads. So that any help or assistance can reach on time. This video must also be watched by those people who misuse water without any reason.
Seriously i always say this. I dont know why this guy is bringing up Americans spending billions of dollars on costumes during Halloween when its their corrupt leaders of Malawi who literally ruin the entire country by stealing from their own people. The president is driving in a mercedes while half the country has 0 basic resources that should be available everywhere. Africa is not poor people . Open your eyes!!!
I always enjoyed your videos but I really enjoyed this one, God bless that man and his team when the water burst through after so much disappointments it was amazing. This is how we should help those in need ❤❤❤
We still have a lot of good people in this world many blessings and love to that American pastor who is doing such a wonderful job in helping those people 🙏👍🏽👏

Water has long been a critical challenge in my home, impacting survival and causing annual losses from waterborne diseases and malaria. Despite our efforts, we lack resources. I envision a future without water issues. My village is only 8 kilometers away from this exact location. and I am grateful to those who helped install this borehole, Fostering joy within our community and enhancing lives.

Water so often taken is a precious resource which has brought joy to the people and the opportunity to better feed their respective families.
This was huge and a case of real community development. The beneficiaries even own it too, having worked for its success.

couldn,t hold my tears, some peopleare just god sent.
Seeing the state of the water the villagers were drinking, pre well, it's truly a miracle the entire village wasn't wiped out by dysentery or similar.
