Ford really has to make everything in plastic just to make the color lighter to meet fuel mileage requirements

Just buy a regular v6 trunk lid for the 2013-2014 mustang and do what you need to make it look clean and then sell your gt500 stock trunk or keep in storage if you ever wanna sell the car you have it still

      Actually, it's a good idea.

Why would one buy a v6 trunk and put it in a GT500?

@@KapcomRacing because he wants to potentially modify his Gt500 trunk to the point to where it can’t be returned to factory spec, since the mustang used the same trunk lid for gt500, GT, and v6 models you can get a cheap v6 trunk from a junkyard possibly even find one the same color and he can then modify that one to his liking and get it painted or whatever and then throw that one on retaining the stock gt500 trunk for resale value later on

@@lordbongalot modifying a GT500 especially from 13/14 is expensive. Not only that but if he damages that motor, it’s a big expense to fix.
How do I know? I watched a channel where the 13 GT500 owner blew the motor unintentionally and then I’m the process to fix, it was thousands of dollars. And that the process was so much…he returned it to stock and went a different path.
So if you’re going to get a trunk and modify it…there other things that take precedence…bigger blower, fuel system. That’s a minimum of $6,500 depending on the setup.
So if he doesn’t have that funding available, he should enjoy the car as it is for the next year…save up then start making changes.
That’s what you do when you’re new to a platform. That’s how you take baby steps to enjoy your vehicle.
But if you’re the type of person to just throw money at the situation,…you better be ready to handle that car…otherwise you’ll become afraid of the car and you’ll sell it due to your own fears.
