Beauty! Wondering if DE could be used with HVDC solar systems (combined with MPPT) and if we should expect high power appliances (eg. induction cooktop) with embedded DE receiver or EV chargers! (So we can finally get rid of AC) It would be also interesting what is the efficiency / power loses during all those conversions (transmitter/receiver/power supply)
can the receiver deliver 220V - we use 220 in South Africa - or will one have to use a device inbetween the receiver ( like you are doing in this video to step down to 48V for the switch ) to achieve 220v Output on the receiver ?
This just gives me a stroke. Digital electricity... Come on bro just call it high voltage voltage DC. 336VDC is not low voltage nor should any non electrician be dealing with this
I need one of those white boxes for a grinder power supply so I can seal it up away from dust. nice work Jeff,
How does this work for lighting. Do you use it conjunction with poe??
