Omg, 17 years having a Saurian as my favorite Toy, I still have it, and never knew it was called a Saurian or were it came from, I just had it since I can remember. Thank you for letting me finally know the name and origin of my best Toy friend. I call him Dragueitor.
I know, right?! For 30 years, I've been owning a figure and thanks to Phelan I know he's called Baltard. As a kid, I always thought he was an elf samurai (mainly due to the top knot and pointy ears). I later thought he was a Piccolo knock-off (from DBZ). Now I finally learned his true name and that he's part of the Galaxy Warriors / Fighters / Heroes.
Looking on eBay...Baltard is the easiest figure to find bc they either made so many of him or that most kids never cared much for Baltard...But thanks for uploading this!, I'm hooked on this series!
I can confirm. I owned a Baltard as a kid, but never really played much with him. I tried integrating him into my wrestling roster, but he seemed way out of place with his purple skin and pointy ears. I eventually abandoned him for many years, until I finally stumbled upon Phelan's series, thanks to which I finally know his name.
@@HoriaNeagu ...If it wasn't for this series I wouldn't even know about the GW's ... but that I've watched this series I've been keeping my eyes open for GW's figures & grab one every so often if it's at a good price...& I'm glad I found this channel bc of all the cool knockoff toys he finds... @@PaulieAFantoneJays19 The rabbit hole just gets deeper with every new episode and I love it. Funnily enough, my Baltard came with a "Turly Gang" shield, instead of his regular shield. Which is another bootleg series. Of course, I only found out about the "Turly Gang" thanks to Phelous. :)
That super surprised doofy Anubi/Wolfman looks like he's suffering from rabies with that.....lovely foaming at the mouth. |D And also, dammit Phelous, I want a Baltard now just because of those skits you do with him. I laugh so hard I'm in tears and my ribs are exploding out of my sides!

I was hoping that Phelan Porteous could give his opinions on the really nice looking (and rare) Galaxy Heroes versions shown at 1:02 ? They are definitely WAY different than all other Galaxy heroes, and even has a unique lion character not found elsewhere. They can easily be identified on card by a barcode on the upper left, usually odd colors for their boots & gaping mouths without much teeth. The circular shields are Combo Heroes style, the internal hip joints are done in a remco fashion & they have a nice painted “square” on rarer muscle heroes type of armor, which is where I believe the Galaxy Heroes started at. Legs arms and heads are all hard rubber and the torso is hollow plastic as well as the loincloths. Also interesting is that Unicorna is a featured character which I know is a combo, however the details on the shields are a little messier, and the Unicorn’s strands of hair (maine?) seem slightly less detailed. Despite all of the above, I find the body styles on these figures to be much more accurate to the Galaxy Warriors series than Combos. If you ever update this video, I’d love for you to compare and give your opinion on which generation these are in the Galaxy Heroes line, they’re like Muscle warriors meets Combo. I’d guess first, but whatever they are, it’s a unique set that’s hard to track down. Before you have defined them too much in your mind, the body back and arm details are the detailed warrior style. Not bad! Thank you for all the wonderful videos, welcome back to the Black hole! I do find it ironic, but I think the bootleg of the bootleg of the bootleg of the bootleg... looks better than the bootleg that it’s bootlegging.
The first part of the black text on the Hebrew card actually translates to cobra. Seeing as the character is Kobra, I think that’s supposed to be its name in Hebrew.
To be more exact: The Hebrew name of the figure is listed as 'Rosh Cobra' which means 'Cobra Head'. The title of the line is the 'Defenders of the Universe Gang' (Chavurat Maginey HaYekum) and the white-on-blue text says "Collect the 6 Warriors" so appreantly only six of the Galaxy Heroes got the Hebrew release. The little sticker on the package is the logo for the Israeli Fast-Food Chain Burger Ranch, I'm guessing maybe they distributed them as Happy-Meal Toys?
Excellent work on this video. It really is quite interesting to hear about all the strange details of this rare toyline. I love all the strange creatures with weird heads and their whacky shields and harnesses. Your channel is always fun to watch!
I love the infinity hole of this line... Peach Baltard and Tom Selleck wielding a dinosaur as his weapon. This is already amazing Two types of wolfman, two satyrs, a space native american? Really?
#PhelanPorteous must loves it too. since he uses Baltard a-lot in his videos to make fun of it. i even seen a video with him using the toy and Baltard voice in a video, that was not even related to the actual toy line, but in another bootleg zone video. lols.
I don't think the guy you bring in at 9:02 is another wolf guy, it appears to be a new head sculpt entirely. I'm guessing he's supposed to be something along the lines of a "Jaguar-man" or "Panther-man" to go along with Tigerman.
Another great video, Phelan. Oh, well, at least they tried! I'm not sure why, but for some reason I want some of these Galaxy Warriors-type figures, including Geronimo obviously. I'm Native American, in case you didn't know. My great-great-great-great grandfather is Chief Sitting Bull and I actually have his nose. Do you think I should take my He-Man Classics figure of Princess Adora out of her package or just leave her in there?
2:03 GOOD GAWD MAN, wipe your ass for Galaxy Christ's sake! What, they don't have toilet paper in the Galaxy HOLE, ha ha I'll go back to the bad Spoony corner now..
Did you get copyright troubles for this one? I could have sworn this video was already up on your channel before. If that's the case though, I wonder who made the claim considering the footage is all yours and the music I'm pretty sure is public domain or at least royalties-free. What, did the makers of Galaxy heroes complain that you infringed on their doubtlessly real copyright of their bootleg of a bootleg of a knock-off? Anyway, very good video. I always enjoy your look at the Galaxy Knockoffs. It just seems to be getting crazier every time and the quality of the figures seems to keep getting lower.
Geronimo actually was the name of a famous Native American chief from the Bedonkohe band from the Apache Indians. But yeah,... Geronimo is still a pretty redundant name for a Native American-based character from the Galaxy Heroes. GERONIMOOOO!!!!!!!
So, I guess the MotU molds were stolen and the knockoff guys modified them? I always wondered how dollar store/bootleg figures got made, some can be quite good, others well...galaxy heroes.
Omg, 17 years having a Saurian as my favorite Toy, I still have it, and never knew it was called a Saurian or were it came from, I just had it since I can remember.

Two types of wolfman, two satyrs, a space native american? Really?
Took me way too long to realize the ending skit was a reference to Newhart.
I had the blond Satyr. They were selling them in Germany in Supermarkets.
Oh my god. Galaxy of Baltards.
Sato?
Tareltonlives DONT GIVE THEM IDEAS!!!!
The old Minotaur reminds me of the demon from Night Of The Demon
"OH WELL AT LEAST THEY TRIIIIIED!"
17:55 looks like the statue in the closet from Carrie
"Eat something you Saurian f^&&" Lol. I'm crying.
oh jeeze, some of these are legitimately scary looking!

I actually own one
I actually have that "SafeDrive: Heavy Cab" at 3:58.
16:30 - Dragoon is basically a roided Mushu.
Into the Baltardverse
:) 13:34, "But..., but..., BALTARD!" Too funny!
What's the music at 25:00 please?
En los 90ts en Venezuela yo tuve uno con cabeza de unicornio, era mi juguete favorito hasta que unos primos me lo robaron y más nunca lo pude ver
Geronimo reminds me of the Apache Tracker from Welcome to Night Vale
Wolfman and Wolfman 2 look like....Yorkies.
I'd sometimes file off the "made in X" stamping on my toys when I was a kid. It took me out of it. XD
Interesting seeing the Galaxy Hole continue. And Baltard. We will never escape Baltard.
Thank you for all the work you and all the contributors.
And I thought the weeks it took me to sort out the Remco Man-Tech line parts so I could display them all correctly was a pain in the butt.
Ooo Galaxy MULTIVERSE!😜
Man I love doing a marathon of Bootleg zones😎
9.2.22
Say have anyone figure out what Triton, Huk, and Magnon were called in the Heroes line?
1 thing I liked from this ones, was all those weapons and shields to equip on my masters of the universe toys.
Imagine if Mattel makes Galaxy Warriors an official thing in Masters Of The Universe Origins.
Realm of the underworld has released new versions of a few of the characters
Where can I find them?
Samson: ........Kill.......Me.....
Love these videos! Question: are the Turly Gang figures part of the Galaxy Warriors multiverse?
+PacoAfroMonkey Yes they are. An episode on them will be coming.
my best guess for that white spot being there was because maybe there was a shipping label on the box
Yay now I know which line my Huk is from. I knew he wasn't a galaxy warrior, but I didn't know where in the hole he fit in.
I like MOTU KO's, so could you do more? Besides Mucsel Warriors, I'd like to see Defenders of the Planets, Fantasy World and Galaxy Adventure Girl.
It's pronounced "Heronimo" who was a great Native American warrior according to Joe Don Baker in Final Justice.
Think you can take me? Go ahead on. It's your move.
Gotta love that Baltard!

Christ did people think the Masters of the Universe was such a big cash grab that they made bootlegs of bootlegs of knockoffs of knockoffs?

I actually had that Sauropod-got it as a cheap arcade prize
I got Geronimo and he feels really solid, like really solid like a brick.
What is also kinda confusing is how every Galaxy line shares a similar logo style and design.
Amazing review, dude! Keep up the great work!
Luke Toywalker Thanks a lot, man!
Phelan Porteous Have you heard of the combo toy line? It uses molds from the galaxy hole

And the legendary story of Baltard continues! Eerm
Why is this video not public?
What's the name of the background music you used? it sounds familiar.
I clicked on this bootleg zone because it reminds me of masters of the universe and pro wrestling figures mixed together
hmmm, needs more Bat Hero and Selfie!
When is the next "Galaxy" related video?
Will the black hole ever end?
Saurian isn't a name. It's Reptile's race.
