Hey Phelous, I saw you do a crossover with the Nostalgia Critic a while back, but I never thought to check out your videos. Came across your stuff a couple days ago and I'm super glad I gave you a chance this time. You do good work and you're super entertaining. Keep it up! :D
Ah, Mexican bootlegs. It was only a matter of time. They look horrifying. Ah yes, the katar. Punjabi punching dagger. CLASSIC ninja weapon. Vernon the turtle. This needs to be a thing. Krang chain!
Don't forget to mention the fact that Krang's bubble walker represents the turtles' colors better than the turtles themselves. From left to right: (9:37) Leo, Mike, Don and the missing one is Raph.
Gramatically speaking the translation would be "your heroes in action warrior turtles" I didnt knew the bootleg krang came on more colours, there was this guy selling lots and lots of mexican krangs with the blue pattern...
0:33"I have not seen a single turtle from this particular bootleg line without a different head sculpt than wacky action Raphael" You double negatived your self there... What? You think you are the only one who enjoys finding tiny flaws?
Gardener Crayola Ninja Tortugas, heroes en accion! Now, there's some idea for a cool bootleg with Aztec themed turtles who have gardening tools instead of ninjutsu weapons. Don has a rake, Raph a pair of sharp trowels, Leo a scythe and Mich with... nunchucks? Yeah, it counts as nunchuks started as farmer repurposed tools! Makes sense that they have plenty of time to grow ingredients for their homemade pizza as apparently, their only menace is a Krang devoid of an Android unit.
Bit late to the party on this one, but I swear I've seen that logo used for official Turtles merchandise in the past, like maybe on books or something? I could be mistaken, but it's too familiar to me and Google search hasn't been my friend.
Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Raphael, Donatello,... Kirby. I know that's what they had originally planned for the 4th movie before the 2007 animated film. But it just doesn't match. Say what you want about Venus de Milo. At least she fit in with the Renaissance art naming convention.
Venus de Milo was made around 130 to 100 BC, while the Renaissance was approximately the 15th and 16th centuries. Just a gap of around 1600 years between those... And Venus de Milo is a work of art, not an artist, whereas Jack Kirby was a famous and influential artist in the 20th century. I'm not saying Kirby fits the naming scheme, but it fits better than Venus de Milo.
i got a question for you, when i was a kid my father gave me a bag full of plastic turtles, some of them were bright green and some of them was sort of pink and there was also a 3rd color, they had the design that reminded me of the comics and none of them held their signature weapons but the extra weapons the original turtles used to have. And no posing for them whats so ever and abit over 1 inch high. Do you know what they were called? im thinking of buying 1 bag of them and paint them.
sorry if I already commented this in another video (I can't remember if I did) but those trowel looking things are called katars, a type of indian dagger held with ah "H" shaped handle
@@gracekim1998 Well yeah. I meant that it's been so long, I've no idea anymore who the f*ck this Renoir is or why I mentioned them in the first place lol EDIT: Oh *shit* , I googled them and it turns out Renoir is an important character from a TMNT fan comic I used to be a big fan of looong time ago called MNT Gaiden. Idk whether still ongoing at this point or not, but the story is (was) super interesting. So it's worth checking out!
ThePonyDalek oh because of an organic driving a robotic body....well kran body has more movement while the daieks look like advance trash cans with guns
How were you able to even find all of these bootleg toys...like the Little pluckies ninja protects toy I can't found anywhere on eBay let alone for sale online...so these toys must be really rare
The art seems to be traced and flipped from a TMNT pencil box of all things. I noticed a vintage TMNT pencil box I have has artwork very close to the art

"The Nightmare Becomes Reality" is one of my favorite running gags on this channel
For Cthulhus sake wear some gloves. The mexican grim reaper writes his list using Your Heroes in Action Turtles for a pen.

14:33 That looks like Bebob got strawberry ice cream thrown at him at a KISS concert.
Actually, that gardening trowel weapon is called Katar, it is not a push dagger since this one has handguard on the sides.
I know what happened on the packaging! Googly eyed Raf killed them all and put them on a shelf for display D:
Teenage mutant crayon turtles
Teenage mutant crayon turtles
Teenage mutant crayon turtles
crappy figures in a half shell
Crayola power
You're not nuts; that legit sounds like something the 1987 Turtles would do.
Waxy action raphael
XD wow I found this WAY funnier than I should have........you win the internet!!!!!😆
I think Raphael in the picture is high on bad mushrooms from a pizza.
Could also be sewer gas seeping in.
KIRBY, THE FIFTH TURTLE
Damn, you do a great Vernon voice, Phelan!
I make bootleg toys for fun, with my kids, and we all love it! We caught the love for bootlegs from THIS SHOW.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Crayons! Heroes in a pencil box! Color power!
Also looks like Leonardo was afraid when Raph came up with his weapon drawn like that.
The weapon "gardening trowel" thing, I believe, is supposed to be a push dagger.
Looks like a Katar to me. Could be Kunai,
Now I wanna see Krang in his android body lead an army of Krangs in bubble walkers
COUGH *TMNT 2012* COUGH *KRAANG SUBPRIME* COUGH

This video makes me want to grab my crate of tmnt action figures and goof around with them for a bit.

I admit one of my favourite things about this series is the toy skit parts🤣
From early October 2021
They predicted Jennika!

facecreep Thanks a lot!
I can totally agree with you on that one!
+Phelan “Phelous” Porteous these toys are sh°°
I think the "trowels" are maybe supposed to be kunai? But with big ol' handles slapped on so the Turtles can hold them.
Playmates should *absolutely* release an official Barrel of Krangs.
17:37 I didn't know there was a Burne Thompson figure. 😮
I don't know how you manage it, but that Krang voice is dead on.
"Tus Héroes en Crayón" is more like it.
We need to set up a circumstance that makes Phelan say "crayon" and Allison say "quality" a lot.
There's something about the way you say CRAYONS that get a laugh out of me.
My family says it like cray'ns.

What is the theme music to this show from? Its so familiar... Background music from the old Garfield cartoons?
Are the Krangs made out of the waxy plastic too?
The Michelangelo with the red head bandanna sort of looks more like it’s black, like the last ronin
the "gardening trough" weapon is a kunai, which, appropriately enough, actually was originally a garden spade before ninjas weaponized them.
It was the citizens that weapomized it
It's not even a kunai. It's a Katar, a North Indian punching dagger.
Oh
Tortuga? That's where Captain Jack Sparrow throwing a party!
I saw a trailer for "PIXELS" before this. Huh, funny.
In case no one has yet corrected you, but I'm sure they had. Those are "Punching Daggers", and not trowels.
+Big Mouth Smurf i thought they were spatulas for their pizzas when i was younger.
+Big Mouth Smurf i'd guess Katars..
Big Mouth Smurf I was trying to think of the term for that, and I was also not understanding him say "trowel". lol
I heard they're kunai and I guess that makes since with them being ninja.
ya know phelous, you could say pink polka dot land is bootleg dimension x

Pentagram turtle warrior is worse.
Much worse.
