I started using a laundry service called Poplin this year and it’s been a total game changer! It’s $1 per pound of laundry. It costs me $20-25 per week with a family of 4 and has been worth every single penny. They pick up your laundry, stain treat it, wash it, fold it, even put it on hangers if you want and return it the next day. I only do our towels and sheets at home and it has saved me SOO much time 🥳 so now, every Tuesday is my laundry day-poplin picks up our clothes and I wash our sheets and towels in the same day. Only having to do laundry once a week is the BEST

Just wanted to add that I feel like I get an idea of inspo or sometimes just feel relaxed from every one of your videos! Grow as you see best but your content as is - is amazing! I love when ideas for things are snuck into a regular video!

Laundry schedule- I do a load for my kiddo every night and fold in the morning. Then when I’m going to fold, I put in me and my husband laundry and fold it at night when I go to put in my son’s. They are small loads… which obviously has its disadvantages but it’s an easy schedule for me to keep.. plus small loads are way less daunting when it comes to folding.

We do a load every day! Colors/darks together, whites on Wednesdays and I’ll throw towels in there too if it’s a small lid since all our towels are white, sheets on Saturdays and we take Sunday as a rest day from all chores. I loveee this routine! My husband and I both work outside of the home too and it still feels manageable. I put the load in in the morning before work, he transfers it to the dryer when he gets home and then we fold/put it away after dinner. It’s always a small load so it never takes more than just a few minutes for the folding and putting away :)

I do laundry twice a week, once during the week and once during the weekend. What I realized was the most annoying was sitting and folding laundry. I now fold laundry as soon as I have a moment and I fold it straight out of the dryer on top of the machines and put it away immediately. It has made a world of a difference and it actually takes wayyy less time that if I were to fold laundry while I watch tv or something. It has turned it into a quick task rather than a chore.

My husband does his own laundry, I do mine on Friday, I do 2 loads a week for my kids and one of those has their towels. Typically it’s Saturday and Wednesday. I do all of the bedding every other Saturday. ❤

I do one day during the weekend and one day during the week for laundry of clothes and another for towels and sheets. Found this personally works better for me than one load a day!

I feel like a great place to start for parenting “books” would be the Dr. Becky Good Inside podcast! Obviously not a book but easy to get so much good information in a short time

I love all your videos! And I think it’s amazing you’re going to not really show them on the internet anymore. It’s always refreshing to see content creators not using their kids for their income/business directly. Always love everything you put out and you’ve got this either way! Love your content and family and look forward to everything you’re going to share this year!

If I am working out of the house, I do my laundry on Wednesdays and the kids laundry on Fridays. My husband is in charge of his laundry. Anything extra gets done on Saturdays and Sundays. When I’m in the house I literally just do a load every day I don’t care what it is.

Laundry-my least fave household chore! 😂. The one load a day system was NOT for me. I do laundry twice a week, Sunday & Wednesday. So I’ll either throw it in first thing in the AM, or last thing PM the night before so that no matter what, laundry is run/folded/put away by the end of the day every Wednesday and Sunday. Sheets/towels are a separate day (Friday) and it’s the only way I can keep up

I totally think you will still thrive on social media with making the focus more on you/your journey in motherhood ❤-I feel like you kinda always have in a way, but more lately. I followed bc I was in a similar life stage as you & related to you! Not for your kiddos & I bet so many followers feel the same!

Excited for the new content! Currently also trying to take control of my house 😭😂 what’s helped with laundry is doing it 2 days a week so wash dry fold out away . Maybe 2 loads a day or depends how many loads you usually do

Laundry tip. Grab item out of the basket.. immediately put it away!! It wastes so much time to fold sort and then put away when it can be done the second you touch it out of the basket.

Loved everything about this video! I'm feeling very similarly to you in wanting to just really get my ducks in a row this year. I really like doing laundry on Sundays and if I have something planned I get it done Saturday. Once I'm home more I want to have Tuesday be the "kid Laundry" and household laundry day. As a nanny, I personally prefer it split into two days so it doesn't feel like an all day laundry thing but also doesn't feel like I'm doing laundry all week. (i do their laundry at work too) So the two day method works really well!
I'm really hoping to reach my goal of being a SAHM/WFHM this year so once I'm home a lot more, I'll have so much more time to be intentional about how my weeks look. It's so hard taking care of someone else's kids (mine comes with too) and then coming home and still taking care of your own home. I fell into a pretty intense burnout recently because of it. Delegating my time wisely is literally how I stay sane and can actually accomplish all that while maintaining my own projects. So I think It's so smart that you really want to take the time this year to really plan out your week well. I'd love to see how it all ends up going for you!

Girl! I had GD with insulin two of my three pregnancies. It is no joke. 😅 I’m mentally preparing myself to have it again as we are TTC our fourth baby right now (cycle 2). Did you conceive right away with your two? We got positives the second we wanted a baby with my three so wondering if it’s gonna be a struggle this time is killing me.

Great video! I got rid of a lot of my Lovevery toys (like the felt flowers that are basically cute to look at but my kids are over within 10 seconds of presenting them). I think Lovevery is great for the first 18 months but after that I’m not as impressed
