I've watched both your rain deflector videos and thought I should point out these in no way should be used as a device to leave windows down safely. They are simply a way to have the windows down a bit whilst driving or parked in rain without water entering car. Get a windshield reflective cover to cool a parked car down.
I had similar set up for my Crown Vic, one of the best add ons.

I recommend the WeatherTech side window deflectors, only a few dollars more but they're exact fit, no adhesive tape...
