  • Nevo is a positive and confident young person with the same hopes and dreams as many young people. He tells a powerful story about growing up with the knowledge that the sex assigned to him at birth did not match who he knew he truly was.
2020 Edit: It's been a fair few years since we created this video! Since then, Nevo's gone on to write an acclaimed book, and has embarked on a truly impressive creative career. Find out more: www.nevozisin.com

"Cannot fix into a box, we're not box shaped, we're people shaped" !!! Gold!

mV Castel - Yeah and who made people "people shaped" ? God. And He made them male and female ( refer to Genesis ). That's two - yes, TWO genders, not 432.
Don't believe in God ? Okay. Doesn't change reality though. Unless you want to live in your own make believe world, along with all your fellow delusionists.

Haha, I can totally understand coming out over Facebook. That's what I did for my sexual orientation. I came out to one person face to face, then I went back home and wrote in on Facebook because I thought that would be way too hard to do 100 times. I'm still questioning my gender identity, but I guess I'll have to experiment some more with my body image to know what makes me feel more comfortable.

Wow, I really felt so comfortable listening to you Nevo. You helped me to understand so much about a brave new generation of people with enormous clarity and courage. I'm in my late 60s and am reflecting on how much social pressure and conditioning must have held back and locked in so many of my generation to lead lives of fear, denial and misery. Thank you for your relaxed warmth, strong spirit and willingness to share your story for others to ease more readily into their own skins. Hopefully your generation can lead us quickly into a whole new world of freedom, love, acceptance and celebration of difference, not only about gender but also about race, religion and all the quirky little differences that define who we are as individuals!

They’re non binary as of now, I’m fairly sure, and earlier in the documentary(7 years ago) they said they are transmale. Now they use he/him/they/them pronouns. Just… listen to the documentary

The trans road is not an easy one. It does you more harm than good. Stay with the physical reality of biological sex because it is safer than an imagined gender identity.

    • @lpsreedie3504

Its not like people get to choose whether they're trans or not. it's the same way you don't choose your assigned gender at birth.

I don’t know who’s going to be reading this in the future so I want to comment this, as a transgender person: it’s not an easy road, I don’t think anyone sees it as an easy one. But it does so much good. It is better to take this road because the alternative of crippling dysphoria, where gender is on your mind for hours every day, is harder. No route for a trans person is easier, but the road of transition is very rewarding
