I’m a black mom with a wonderful child (now 18 year old) with Albinism. Trust me when I say your child will grow up to be EVERYTHING they want to be, if you allow the environment to thrive. Schools will try to limit them. Bullying can be real. But your girl is beautiful. 🥰. My kiddo is now going off to a top uni in the Uk. You guys have a LOT of knowledge. That’s great. Keep growing. Definitely connect more with NOAH, go to conferences if you ever get the chance. Your daughter will LOVE connecting with others like herself. It’s an amazing community. Many blessings to your wonderful family.
Glad they live in a country where doctors explain it and they aren't shunned for it, or worse, the girl is hunted down for body parts used in witchcraft. Whoever asked if she was adopted obviously didn't know about Albinism. Why are there still people who don't know about this? It's pretty common, considering, both in humans and animals. She is adorable.
It’s crazy! Who doesn’t know about albinism now? It’s 2024… READ, watch TV, get some exposure. How can people be so ignorant still? She’s cute as a button! All your babies are! ❤❤❤
Right? Puzzles me, but a lot of people just don’t want to make the effort to know, cos it doesn’t affect them and we don’t see people with albinism often enough to be bothered to learn.
Beautiful family and Zayana is absolutely gorgeous 😍 . My one year old son also has albinism and I think it’s absolutely wonderful to be born different . Great job mom and dad . you are a wonderful mama and inspire us so much 🙏🏼 thank you for embracing zaya’s albinism and creating awareness around it
Some people just like showing their ignorance. I am sure people know your daughter has albanism. Your children are beautiful and a blessing from the creator 💜
I have known about this situation , since i was at primary school, in the 60's but did'nt know to much about the cause. The girl with this situation, was given a lot of bad tratment in words from other children. I was always empathetic , children are all beautiful, and you love them.
Unfortunately some children and people with albinism in general still experience discrimination, to this day and age. We must continue to educate people
If people are so curious then go on google. People don't know boundaries. People don't understand that they DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW AND IT'S NOT THEIR OBLIGATION TO EDUCATE YOU. IT;S OFFENSIVE to ask some questions. The sense of entitlement reaches all the way into information and peoples compulsion to need to know now.
I am surprised not a lot of people know about albinism. I have known about it for over 20 years. I saw a girl with albinism at the mall a few months ago. I didn't say anything just gave a friendly smiled😊
I’m also continuously surprised but having a child with albinism has taught me just how much people actually don’t know about it, at first I thought people were just rude but I quickly realized that some people genuinely didn’t know and are ignorant
@@Raising_Zivah_Zayana_Zander that is sad though because I guess I had an assumption that British people were more educated but I guess not in every thing, sadly. But that aside, I think all your kiddos are adorable especially all their personalities. I work with kiddos in Social Work. 😊 They are always a joy to work with even though each of them have their struggles and unique identities especially since kids can be pretty resilient.😊
Yes there is, and one can also do genetic counseling before even falling pregnant to find out your chances of getting a child with albinism. I’ve done a video on this - ua-cam.com/users/shortsjMauN71OejU?si=-mHOEjRzXL18jSIo

She is beautiful. So is the rest of the family.
Nice Video ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I am amazed that people fail to recognize albinism in 2024 and ask really ignorant questions.
It’s no one’s business and that’s mad disrespectful that people ask if she’s the nanny

We Africans are so used 2 them in the black communities

I never thought about how it would cause photosensitivity in the eyes to have albinism.
Looks like you have a sweet, and happy family.
Thank you. I did a short video on photosensitivity in albinism ua-cam.com/users/shortsV7ZLVm4RIyw?si=dNrgMbHlXGQxKx4l

What a beautiful family and beautiful house. I do not think you need to expose your young kids to the Internet's opinion. They are fine without it!

What ? People don’t know this child has albinism? What is wrong with people?
She’s very beautiful, as are the rest of the family ❤️

This one is a lot more common
My 11 year old son has albinism 😊
Shocking how a lot more people aren’t able to recognize it in 2024
She is super gorgeous ❤
She has Albinism not adopted
Real question - Is there a specific test that can be done BEFORE birth to determine if your child will be born with albinism?
It can be diagnosed by fetoscopy between the 16th and 20th week

I knew she had albanisum at first look. I can't believe people think otherwise.

Beautiful family!
Yikes

Couldn't more obviously br an albino child.
Adopted? Really? Who knows the paper work and psychiatric documents required with legal adoptions. I do. And that baby is not a legal adoption. My husband and I have adopted. So I know.
... You're comment is confusing, she birthed that child, she's just Albino
Please watch the video she birthed the child yet ignorant people called her child adopted because of her condition.
Maury; u sure bout that?
