Im still a firm believer that the bosses could be designed better without mobility items in mind, notably the later bosses (Moon Lord and TBoC most notably). Some of them also just need combos redone (Pharoh specifically). Its a fun mod, but oh boy do the later bosses just suck without any mobility. Even something like Binding of Isaac has pulled off some good bosses that dont need a boatload (or much at all) mobility to no-hit. Personally i believe the bosses should be designed without mobility items in mind, but be slightly easier should you get some. Also, they should do something with the arena itself, give it its own mechanics/gimmicks with the boss.
@@octogorb9853 I was told that the bosses were designed to not be fair and you're supposed to get hit. Because health is also a resource you have to manage in these kinds of games. So it comes to no surprised why these bosses are seemingly unfair to fight against
@@MyraTerrariaOfficial that just sucks then. Congrats on no-hitting them and being the first to no hit most of them though. While I can get behind health being a resource, I do believe they could at least make the bosses fair even if you have next to no mobility as that just feels bad to lose a run due to what's essentially up to a coin toss than player skill. Dead Cells is a game that excels at being fair while still letting health be a resource you must manage.
@@octogorb9853 whenever im at the true brain im op asf and either heal an insane amount or deal an insane amount of damage so it does make sense that you are supposed to get hit , otherwise it would be too easy. I never died to true brain and i wasnt playing very good or something. If they would make boss fair but still challanging , they would either make him two shot the player which would suck , or nerf every drop which again would suck , at the end of the roguelike you are supposed to feel very strong. True Brain is a really great boss. Not many people want to no-miss bosses , so changing the boss just for the people who wanna no hit makes no sense.
@@blindt3279 They could still be designed better. As it could just suck to have a run end due to attacks not being designed around low mobility which can cause a run to be up to chance if you lose or not than player skill. As I mentioned, Dead Cells is a notoriously difficult roguelite yet still excels at being fair whether or not you no-hit or not (even if no-hitting usually boils down to shredding the boss in 2 seconds with the exception of end run bosses sometimes). It also just feels bad to not be able to avoid an attack as a result of its design. I'm not asking for them to be made piss easy, but I do ask for them to be fair to potentially be able to be no-hit if someone is good enough/grind enough like in other roguelikes without having it be 90% determined by items. A way, as I stated, could be implementing stuff to do with the arena itself, such as giving it its own gimmicks/mechanics that tie in with the boss. Even if they dont change anything, they should at the very least change Pharaoh's tendril + twister combo since thats complete bullshit no matter what way its put and can be an easy run killer. Still, none of the bosses are bad they are all fun to fight, but this is just my piece of mind.
Nice video with wonderful editing as always just one question, what did you do to reset attempts after getting hit, i assume it wasn't insta kill because that would take really long and be very tedious
@@BrutusTerraria If i get it, ether move on to the next room (if there's other boss to attempt) or reset the entire world. Use heros mod to get the gears back. Average attempt reset is around 2-3 minutes. (This process is especially annoying and tedious for the final boss, which is also mainly why it took me so long to beat)
Bro imagine fan made add-ons that function as alt routes and continuation like a calamity or thorium add on. In the rougelike format you could add a ton of mods and integrate them in a style akin to this base and have hundreds of stages and bosses to fight

@@MyraTerrariaOfficialthis might take longer but I’m pretty sure there’s an config to not delete the world or character, but you’d have to trash all the other gear from that.
Would you ever consider giving out your practice worlds? The arenas you make are amazing.
