Mi 10t non-pro variant is a good alternative. it has bigger battery, better camera. the only drawback is the LCD display but it is honestly one of the best LCD in the market. Been using it for 2 weeks now and it runs Genshin very smoothly at highest settings with stable 58(rarely) - 60 fps

atleast poco should use 64 sony imx 682 sensor used on poco x3...If they had used that sensor then it would have been perfect phone....camera is the only thing that poco lacks other wise its a very good value for money phone..

I think the screen dimming only happen when you gaming, it's a cooling mechanism, after all light does produce heat just like your light bulb. And I don't see any difference between F3 and Mi 10 Pro display, Mi 11 is brighter and crisper but that is because it's a Quad HD display as oppose to 1080p on the F3
Actually it happens even while just watching a video and even if the device is still not that hot.. I think this might be something they address in a future update as it is a little too aggressive. But i actually like the feature. Just need to be tweaked. As for the triple display comparison, check out the part with the blue feather. That is where it is most obvious

Poco F3 have other wide-spread problem with the screen - the top of the screen is brighter and more green than other part of it. It can be clearly seen on the dark theme, it looks like gradient. Not every sample of F3 have this issue, but quite a lot.

Why does everyone use that program to evaluate processing power like that is a holy grail. If we look at PC their processors to not reveal what they are by just one program. That is why Pc reviewers test them with many different benchmarks programs and editing programs and games etc. Because a single application can give a false idea so they put them threw different software so users can get a more wholistic image. In smartphones this isn't being done. You just all blindly trust that single application.
i just got mine today I'm actually first time poco user and have been deciding for weeks whether to get the oppo reno6 5g or poco f3 and oh yesss i made a great decision the phone is really good the battery life is insane and the charging time only takes about 40 minutes.
have you tried using the audio zoom and moving the camera focus away from the object that's playing the sound to see if the sound will be out of focus and actually focuses on what's in front of it or if it just amplifies the microphone depending on the zoom level

Best review of the F3. Will check other reviews as well (your reviews). I did a ton of research on this phone and watched a lot of video reviews. This is the: - Most Detailed - Most Informative (w/ evidence hindi yung puro joke lang at general terms lagi ginagamit like "da best", "maganda", "smooth" (lol), etc - Most Complete review Plus the reviewer is really professional. Every pros and cons were covered with objective comments and his subjective opinion on the device. I just hate it that like another guy in the comments, I watched this while waiting for the delivery. I only saw this after watching like 8 videos about the F3. Top-Down Tech really fits this channel. You earned a sub.
I dont think the dimming feature is a letdown personally. My daily brightness percentage when using phone is mostly under 10 to 20 percent. Its less straining to the eye and improves the battery life. I ordered the f3 last march 27 and its now on the sortation facility. I really cant wait to have it! My very first uncompromised investment!
@Vlad not sure man. but most reviewers are only encountering it when playing genshin impact on max brightness and max settings. I too is planning to play that game thats why I bought the phone. But not to the point that I will max everything out.

Its my first amoled phone and I thought the screen was k8nda yellowish but got it adjusted on the settings. It was definitely worth the money.

@@Luke_4044 Imma pass on the Mi 10T since it has an LCD. My current phone is a Mi 9T which has na AMOLED, so a proper upgrade would be a 120hz + AMOLED and an 800 series processor.
Just like the other people, I'm so excited to get my Poco F3. :D Also very nice review, very detailed. I'm switching from a Galaxy Note 8 with a severely degraded 2800 mAh battery and really slow and inefficient processor (at least I think it's gotten very slow). It's gotten to the point, where I disabled AOD, use a black background and disable almost all smart features that could potentially drain battery (like Tap to Wake) etc... So I'm eagerly awaiting to get a phone I can actually use again and have fun with it :D
@@imbore_d22 Nope. It does get warm when you play something like Genshin Impact for 20 minutes, because it's so demanding, but it's not problematic. The performance also doesn't go down. In other games, the Snapdragon 670 doesn't break a sweat.

Nice review, 2 question: 1. Does it autodim in all game or only genshin cause genshin cause temp to skyrocket? 2. Is the screen adaptive refresh rate depending on content? Considering this vs blackshark 4 non pro, since the bs4 seem to have the better cooling and 3.5mm jack
1. All games. Regardless if it is hot or not. After a few seconds, boom. Auto dim. It's a nice failsafe but the implementation is overly aggressive.. I anticipate this to be fixed through a software update. 2. Adaptive. Example: from home screen to browser, it showed 60hz. From game straight to ufo test browser, it showed 120hz.
Well for the people that think the dimming issue that makes poco f3 is not good as you expected, well you guys will have a bigger issue will face which is screen burn cuz the very reason why they put the dimming settings to poco f3 for protecting the screen for screen burn and for the users so they will not have a hard time for going to stores to store just to get screen replacement, and if you cant get that well just buy samsung or iphone and just waste your money for something unworthy from price range of $350
Have you used Poco phones with Chinese roms on them? Was gonna ask if it is safe to install banking apps on them :) Also, have you tried installing gcam on your Poco phones, does it work? :)
Havent tried china rom poco yet. I do have a main phone with MIUI 12.5 that is china rom where all my banking apps are and ive never had any security issues.

Dimming is not an issue for many.. infact.. it relaxes eyes and lower the stress on it.

me too, I like brightness no exceeding 50% and lower na 30% when in indoor use. Lalo na naka-amoled na itong phone na to, w/ 120hz refresh rate.

Why does everyone use that program to evaluate processing power like that is a holy grail.
If we look at PC their processors to not reveal what they are by just one program.
That is why Pc reviewers test them with many different benchmarks programs and editing programs and games etc.
Because a single application can give a false idea so they put them threw different software so users can get a more wholistic image.
In smartphones this isn't being done. You just all blindly trust that single application.

i just got mine today I'm actually first time poco user and have been deciding for weeks whether to get the oppo reno6 5g or poco f3 and oh yesss i made a great decision the phone is really good the battery life is insane and the charging time only takes about 40 minutes.

have you tried using the audio zoom and moving the camera focus away from the object that's playing the sound to see if the sound will be out of focus and actually focuses on what's in front of it or if it just amplifies the microphone depending on the zoom level

- Most Informative (w/ evidence hindi yung puro joke lang at general terms lagi ginagamit like "da best", "maganda", "smooth" (lol), etc
- Most Complete review
Plus the reviewer is really professional. Every pros and cons were covered with objective comments and his subjective opinion on the device.
I just hate it that like another guy in the comments, I watched this while waiting for the delivery. I only saw this after watching like 8 videos about the F3.

I dont think the dimming feature is a letdown personally. My daily brightness percentage when using phone is mostly under 10 to 20 percent. Its less straining to the eye and improves the battery life.
I ordered the f3 last march 27 and its now on the sortation facility. I really cant wait to have it! My very first uncompromised investment!
@Vlad not sure man. but most reviewers are only encountering it when playing genshin impact on max brightness and max settings. I too is planning to play that game thats why I bought the phone. But not to the point that I will max everything out.

@@nilaypaul9810 hey man. ive got the phone. its delightful. smooth gameplay on genshin and ultra graphics on ML. I play g3nshin on medium settings though to prevent heat issues. Its my first amoled phone and I thought the screen was k8nda yellowish but got it adjusted on the settings. It was definitely worth the money.

Great review! I appreciate your articulation and you didn't fake an american accent like other Pinoy UA-camrs. Hope you could compare it with the Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11i which are better value than the standard Mi 11.
@@Luke_4044 Imma pass on the Mi 10T since it has an LCD. My current phone is a Mi 9T which has na AMOLED, so a proper upgrade would be a 120hz + AMOLED and an 800 series processor.

I'm switching from a Galaxy Note 8 with a severely degraded 2800 mAh battery and really slow and inefficient processor (at least I think it's gotten very slow).
It's gotten to the point, where I disabled AOD, use a black background and disable almost all smart features that could potentially drain battery (like Tap to Wake) etc... So I'm eagerly awaiting to get a phone I can actually use again and have fun with it :D
When gaming does it have heat problems?
@@imbore_d22 Nope. It does get warm when you play something like Genshin Impact for 20 minutes, because it's so demanding, but it's not problematic. The performance also doesn't go down. In other games, the Snapdragon 670 doesn't break a sweat.

1. Does it autodim in all game or only genshin cause genshin cause temp to skyrocket?
2. Is the screen adaptive refresh rate depending on content?
Considering this vs blackshark 4 non pro, since the bs4 seem to have the better cooling and 3.5mm jack
1. All games. Regardless if it is hot or not. After a few seconds, boom. Auto dim. It's a nice failsafe but the implementation is overly aggressive.. I anticipate this to be fixed through a software update.
2. Adaptive. Example: from home screen to browser, it showed 60hz. From game straight to ufo test browser, it showed 120hz.

Well for the people that think the dimming issue that makes poco f3 is not good as you expected, well you guys will have a bigger issue will face which is screen burn cuz the very reason why they put the dimming settings to poco f3 for protecting the screen for screen burn and for the users so they will not have a hard time for going to stores to store just to get screen replacement, and if you cant get that well just buy samsung or iphone and just waste your money for something unworthy from price range of $350
Have you used Poco phones with Chinese roms on them? Was gonna ask if it is safe to install banking apps on them :) Also, have you tried installing gcam on your Poco phones, does it work? :)
Havent tried china rom poco yet. I do have a main phone with MIUI 12.5 that is china rom where all my banking apps are and ive never had any security issues.
