It really is a lot of work and you really need to go slow and take your time or you can damage the track, unfortunately the track material can dent or scratch so you have to try not to slip with the tools. I am enjoying the build so far. I just finished the red lane. Yeah only three more to go....lol
Kind of surprised that Dan hasn't contracted someone to make a better rail install tool for VSR. I don't think it would take much and I bet he could still put something together with off-the-shelf parts but that rod and bearing thing is about as janky as it gets.
Yeah that tool can definitely be improved though I did figure out that I was using the tool wrong. It does a decent job of getting the colored wired started if you put the big washer in the center slot and use the bearings to actually push the wire down. I have another video coming where I should what I mean.

What a giant PITA
Once I figured out a method that worked for me it was not that bad, but yes definitely a PITA...lol
