    If the tires were offset by -24mm, would it rub?

    I've got a Silver 19' Ram1500 "Classic" (basically a 09'-18') 5.7 4x4. w/ 2"leveling kit (full Fox strut not a block).
    Got 35x12.50/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on BlackRhino 'Sierra' Rims. *(They naturally offset EXACTLY just right, IN PERSON THEY LOOK WAY BETTER THAN IN VIDEO)*
    I had to screw the fender plastics tighter to the well because they rubbed slightly when turning, And if I sink the wheel up into the well deep enough it's slightly rubs as well but only had that happen once in the Desert

    I have a 2016 with the adjustable proryde leveling kit. I was thinking of adding the 20x10 with -18 offset on 35's. Do you think that would hit or rub would making turns?

      My 18 ram with 265/70r17 tires have 31.6" diameter and most factory tires on ram 1500 trucks are about that size.

    I've got a 2005 ram 1500 SLT quad cab 4x4 with stock rims and tires, no leveling kit, or lift. Im wondering if i can put 35s on without the leveling kit, or a lift. If i can't, leveling kit would be fine with me, would just like to know how long its gonna take at a shop, to install said leveling kit.

      long time ago but leveling kits should only take a shop around 4 hours if that. It took me 5 without proper tools

    3” level in front and 1” in rear. You can get 35x11.50x20 on stock ram wheels.

    I recently bought some 35/12.50/15 the guy that I got them from said that I can get a adapter to convert 6 lug to 5 (since they came off of a Chevy. But I was thinking bout just buying the rims that fit on to my truck to avoid future problems. Where did you find your rims at?

      I know you werent talking to me obviously. But from the research I've done for myself you'll be fine with no rubbing. If you go to custom offsets gallery you can put all that in and hear from people who have that exact set up

    Do you think I would be able to fit 35 by 12.5s with a -44 offset on a truck like yours with a 2.5 inch leveling kit?

    • @TheBasstead1
      @TheBasstead1 2 роки тому

      Maybe. The more offset combined with larger rim width, the greater the chance of rubbing on the rear of the wheel wells when the steering is locked out either way. Especially as the video references, on the driver side. Any truck is prone to this problem, and some trucks have this problem in the front of the wheel well.

  • @victorortega2718
    @victorortega2718 3 роки тому +1

    Hey bud did you have a tired pressure light come on? When you installed the 35s? And howd you get it fixed?

    • @jeffshultz3883
      @jeffshultz3883 3 роки тому +1

      The tires won't set off the tire pressure monitor. Changing tires alone won't do that. If you get new rims then you will have to buy the pressure monitors for them. Then you will have to get the new ones activated.
