- Will 35's fit on a leveled Ram 1500? In this video I am picking up a used set of 35x12.5r20 for my ram 1500 replacing the 275/60r20 cooper tires. Huge difference in size!

So you’ve got the 2.5inch level in the front and that’s it, or did you do something to the back wheels as well?
Only leveled the front and put spacers on all the way around
Gotcha. Specs on the spacers? I've got 2.5in motofab leveling on the front of my 2016 Ram 1500. Wondering if I should go with 275/65/20 or if i could squeeze the 35's. Thanks! @@GottisGarage
Bud I have a 2018 dodge Ram and don’t know if I should put a 2.5 or 3 inches leveling kit , I think I heard you say that you did a 2.5” ?
Do the 3
Yeah I did a 2.5in all the 3 in I’ve seen have that lean to it that I personally don’t like. 2.5 is about perfect level
I did the 3 and so glad I did man
So, you have a 2.5 inch leveling kit up front and 2.5 inch wheel spacer all the way around? Is this correct?
1.5-2in wheel spacers
2.5 in level up front and 2.5in wheel spacers.... im pretty sure. I have a video installing them. check that out to confirm
The spacers make it rub right?
No prevents it from rubbing
Are the factory wheels 9in wide?
I believe so
Yes they are
this was the exact video i was looking for, i have a 2012 ram 1500 2wd that i have a 2.5 inch level for and want to put atleast an 1.5 inch spacer on but i cant decide what tires i wanna get
Time for me to order new ones lol
Did you add spacers ? (Sorry if you said it, watching with no audio lol)
Yeah I have 2.5in spacers on it
@GottisGarage if you remove the spacers it probably wouldn't rub. But it looks bad ass. I have a 2014 withc3" lift. About to pull the trigger on a set of fuel sledge wheels and 35s.
No upper control arms?
No I haven’t yet. Been over 2 years and all good still
What gears do you have
Honestly I can’t remember. It’s an open diff, I want to say 3.73 but I’m not sure
Are your rims 20x9 stocks?
Yeah
@@GottisGarage did the sidewall look like it bubbled a lot on 35s?
@Preaxher21 not terrible I think it looks good
I'll keep my 33s
You go ahead and do that if that’s what makes you happy lol
Bud I have a 2018 dodge Ram and don’t know if I should put a 2.5 or 3 inches leveling kit , I think I heard you say that you did a 2.5” ?
I did a 2.5 on my 17 ram 1500 and I should have done a 2in. With the 2.5 I can't put 400lbs of corn in the bed without the headlights pointing to the sky
I’m very sorry I’m so late to replying, sometimes UA-cam doesn’t notify me of comments. I have 2.5in level on my ram. Now for the second comment, I have helper bags in the rear. But even on that note I’ve had my truck loaded with two ls engines, cherry picker, and an engine stand without air in the bags and it didn’t squat that much so I’m thinking you might have something else going on.
@GottisGarage I might've exaggerated a bit. But I'm going to get helper bags never the less.
@Texas12valve definitely do it lol. I’ve hauled way more then I ever should have with those bags
@GottisGarage gonna go with the tembren bags since there's no cutting or drilling with them. And if you air them up all the way it actually lifts the back up higher than factory
