He wasn’t that hero at the time of Morssi , he was supported by the Amry , the Police forces , The Justice, the Media etc , i don’t know how you consider yourself a hero while everyone is supporting you to prepare and brainwash the masses for the upcoming Militay coup, the actual ruling of Egypt is always Army ,
Once Morssi was eliminated by the Military Coup , his show was forbidden after one episode where he couldn’t use the same humour and he couldn’t say a word after the coup ! Knowing that the Army regime is and was way more terrible
Morssi said himslef i will never forbid someone from expressing himslef ..
The people of the Egypt rejected the first and the only democratically elected government and Bassim was a main tool to defame and criticise even diabolise the elected president ….

Im not saying that i agree with the brotherhood approach especially when it comes to media and declarations, the way they didn’t play politics as they should ! But they were elected by the people democratically, they should ve acted accordingly , hearing the opposition voices before the allies.. 48 % were against them in day 1 after results were announced
1 year of the work of Media mainly Bassim youssef , Adib family , Ahmed Moussa , Ibrahim Issa and others ..was enough to brainwash many egyptians..
They were naïve , couldn’t see what was cooked for them , they ignored every significant voice which even differentiate with them , could be a support for them as the leader Hazim abu Ismael , and some other voices of the Islamist parties as « Annour » who had followers ..
Hazim a real politician was ignored by the brotherhood , he could have helped them if they came together as one front against the planing of the army ..
Morssi and some of his ministers were nice guys , to good to keep the power in hand…
I think the responsibility of the coup is shared with everyone, some did it in purpose some did it by ignorance
