I always respected the friendship between these two. A Muslim and a Jew from two opposite sides of the world embracing one another in friendship blinded from any cultural or religious differences. We can all learn from these two men. God bless them both and what they do in showing us there is still hope in this screwed up world.
I am aware of that, however, Jon's upbringing and cultural experience is distinctly western, compared to Bassem's. However, they both have a cosmopolitan attitude towards geopolitics, which allows them to be such effective ombudsmen.
Respect Bassam only known about you since Piers interview you are such a gem. Allah yahfathak you have done for Palestine what no one else has done. God bless you ❤ 🇵🇸

An Arab and a Jew meet in a TV studio to talk about comedy - sounds like the setup to a really offensive joke. Just needs a German and a Russian to be complete.
I wish both of them were back. Watching them laughing and cracking jokes gives a warm feeling about how two seemingly opposite cultures can come to a common point, share the ideas and try to understand each other.
Thank you for this. I'm not jewish myself but I lived much of my life in the US and have very close jewish friends - they are very much against Israel's politics. One jewish man I knew was in Gaza during the 2nd intifada and went in ambulances with Palestinians to keep the Israeli soldiers from shooting at them. And Jon Stewart reports more sympathetically about Palestine than anyone else on American tv. It is not about ethnicity, it's about knowledge, and what your parents tell you growing up.
No one cares man fuck Palestine you don't have to bring this shit up everywhere you move. You don't see Jon Stewart going around screaming fuck Hamas. This is the difference between Jews and you guys.
I loved every second of it, John was truly amazing. He said lots of words the touched my heart deeply. Thank you guys (Albernamg Crew) for bringing him to Egypt.

Beautiful! Well spoken, insightful, and the humor shows our remarkable similarities as peoples and how our differences can be used to create similarities through laughter. It also shows globally how we really need to re-evaluate the type of people we elect into power. The world would do well if run by people like these wonderful men.
Australian here.... Just wanted to wish all my friends from Egypt and the Middle East all the best... Lots of love for you from this part of the world.
It warms my heart to hear the audience go nuts at 1:01. Jon Steward indirectly encouraged a lot of people like Bassem to pursue their current work. Bassem, come visit us in the USA anytime, and we'll cheer just as loud.
I like John Steward and I heard of Bassem Youssef during Arab Spring- not sure if it is already summer or winter there now, but this one was really funny! I was watching some of JS's clips on UA-cam and ended up here. I got to watch Bassem Youssef for the first time. He is pretty good; and they were great together.
Mohamed Omar Sorry but that's not true. During May, June, and July, the northern hemisphere is exposed to more direct sunlight because the hemisphere faces the sun. The same is true of the southern hemisphere in November, December, and January. It is the tilt of the Earth that causes the Sun to be higher in the sky during the summer months which increases the solar flux. However, due to seasonal lag, June, July, and August are the hottest months in the northern hemisphere and December, January, and February are the hottest months in the southern hemisphere.
Canadian here,,,,,I really enjoyed this. What an inspirational thing to watch. What I loved so much about this program is that what they were discussing speaks to the heart. And it's true no matter what country you live in, or religion you belong to, there is always going to be some @ ss hole somewhere. At the end of the day we are all people who just want to live a normal peaceful life and to be able to pursue happiness and enjoy and marvel at each others differences.

Jon Stewart and Bassem Youssef, you guys are awesome. You are always straight-forward and you will always nail it when it comes concerning humanity anywhere in the world. Keep up the good awesome work.
As sweet as that is, political leaders should have some kind of political experience, not just be some popular person with ideas that sound good to people who ALSO don’t know how any of this works. You are right there are people who arent racist but most of the people who follow the media who talk about arab are racist bec arab are portrayed as terrorists and also they talk about freedom and accepting others when they cant accept the fact that isis doesn't represent islam bec if they were muslim they wouldnt ve burned mosques and accused other muslims of not being real muslim
And not all americans are racist I respect people who are open minded and not racist bec u cant judge a whole religion whole race by just an individual
