    How about a few videos showing: Electrical installation, Drywall, Cabinets, attaching interior framing walls to it, waterproof treatment below grade, water channeling for exterior finishes above grade, how you attach ledger boards, trusses, etc.

    All great! Up in Wa. state, we were never allowed to let any rebar touch the ground. Glad to be done with that state!

    How come the rows of blocks are not staggered (in elevation view)? Wouldn't that facilitate the appearance of cracks? Edit: Never mind. I just read your answer to my question, in one of your posts below. Thanks. It's clear now.

    This block system reminds me of Rostra Block, which I used in building my home 20+ years ago. I hope this version is termite proof with a chemical inhibitor? My biggest problem will be with termite tunnels hunting for my wood roof. It is very annoying.

    You've almost got me sold. I've looked into ICF, SIP, MSE, etc. Fireproof, earthquake proof, bug proof sounds great. My only concern is waterproofing. Does it need it, if so how ? Looking forward to your reply.

      Beauty of the Perfect Block / ICF is that it doesn't shrink or crack when it cures. Check out Matt Risinger's video about the "pink stuff" which is essential in the waterproofing process of The Perfect Block / ICF. It walks you through step by step. Really well done.

    Without ties that bind the outer and inner surface together, how does The Perfect Block compare to other ICFs like Nudura?

    • @alexnelson6196
      @alexnelson6196 4 роки тому +4

      The volume of flowing “grout” is restricted to the veins the bar is housed in and it is “poured” in lifts of 4 feet or so. This process drastically reduces hydrostatic pressures. The weight of the horizontal veins of “grout” is supported by the inner framework it is housed in and not transferred to the wet “grout” below, thus the psi on the lowest forms is not multiplied by the “grout” above it. If you’re looking for protection from drive-by shootings and runaway vehicles, go with the conventional ICF. If hurricanes, blizzards, or fires are your fears this system will do ya just fine.

    Do we need to pour cement into the centre of the blocks? What about external plastering??

    • @tanktindal
      @tanktindal 4 роки тому

      Response from Eco Building Systems: Yes, these block are actually stay-in-place forms and the wall structure and strength all comes from the concrete grouted into the center cores. Exterior stucco is easily applied to any surface of the block.

    Why aren't the blocks staggered in layout?

    • @sebastiantevel898
      @sebastiantevel898 4 роки тому +3

      I do not think it matters if they are staggered or not, since the blocks themselves are not supposed to provide any structural support.
      Structural support is provided by the rebars and the concrete which will be poured in the core of the blocks.

    BLOCKS BLOCKS who is on first... is this also called a EZ block, an APEX block or Earth Friendly block or a Bautex block? Whats all the difference - if any?

    • @jaykay9757
      @jaykay9757 6 років тому +1

      Hello, The best Block on the Block is The Perfect Block!
      This block is no EZ block which I believe is an ACC. aerated concrete. It is not an Apex block because of its dimensions and Apex is out of business. It is not an earth friendly or Bautex Block either. It is a Perfect Block named rightfully so by customers who have used it!. Do some research and check out the most Perfect Block on the market ICCF. Difference is sizing and composite consistency. among other items. and great company to work with.
