So this was back when the transfer wasn't entirely official. I wanted to stay on the safe side and continue doing all of my Philosophy and Theology work, as well as all of the English work. But, now that the transfer is official, I am focusing entirely on English (but still attending one of my Theology seminars because I just love the module to pieces!) xx

I’m in my fourth year of my MA English lit and I don’t study as much as you do. I hope you aren’t pushing yourself too hard unnecessarily. You can get excellent grades but still balance your life-don’t forget that a good work/life balance is also an important skill to learn and develop.

Ruby, I've been following you for like a year now and it's really inspiring to see you enjoy what you're doing. I actually just got an offer from Exeter to study English! They offered me ABC as long as the A is English, I’m really happy about it. Exeter is my second choice but my first choice hasn’t got back to me yet.

I want to know, i spend about 8 hours at uni (classes + traffic in the way) so how am i supposed to find energy and study after entering home!? That's not impossible but it's tiring and i really want to know your opinions.
Hi, majoring in Education here. Sometimes I have classes from 8 am to 6pm and what I do -and it works for me- is to actually stay at the Uni's library until it closes. For some reason, staying to study there helps me to keep focused and don't relax too much. If I go home, I literally die.
Hmm, I’m studying Mental Health Nursing (which is a jam packed course) and most of my days run from 9-5 (8 hours). By the time I get home, shower, get changed and eat, it’s around 6/6.30pm. & I’ll study from 7pm-11pm most days and on the weekend, I study almost all day. It’s tiring but you get used to it, especially when you want it so bad. It can be hard to strike a balance but I’m okay with dedicating all this time to studying/my degree. Its a short term sacrifice to have something for the rest of your life. I study very hard and try my best, so that I don’t ever have to be disappointed in myself. Even if I underperform, I will know I did all I could do, I tried my best & that comforts me.
