We never stop learning. An elderly man went to college to get a degree and died a few months after graduating and getting his degree. He said it was the best thing he ever did.

I love the point you made about reading different news sources with different perspectives. It's taken me way too long to realize that. We have to get news but it's near impossible to find a source that has a neutral point of view. I have been doing this as well recently. It allows me to do a tiny bit of critical thinking everyday. I can form my own opinions rather than flowing along with those of an author without questioning their ideas. So many journalists write with such conviction that it's easy to let yourself slip into believing that what they say is the truth. Most of the time it's not even a conscious decision. It's important to know that nothing is black or white.

Reminds me of my student days in freezing cold student houses (the heating never works properly, and if it does you end up negotiating (arguing) with your housemates about how long to leave it running). Ah...the good old days....maybe🥶🥶🥶

I sound like a concerned parent but I’m genuinely worried that you’re so cold 😂 I would check with your landlord to see if they can help you out! It could just be that your radiators need bled or the boiler needs reset! Hope you get it sorted soon 💓
Hi Ruby! I dont know if you know but you can click at the topo of an app in the computer and then click windows+an arrow and you can split your screen and if you do that u dont need to get changing from lectures to notes!
also, I see everyone saying they are cold but not wearing more clothers and since Im a cold person by nature (my natural temperatura is 33/34) I'm always cold so I deal with it by wearing some very "closed-to-the-body"(idk the right word in english, sorry) shirts, normally with some warm fabric. I tend to use 3 of these in the winter + a baggy one and a jacket. I also tend to weat some socks that you use as pants (I dont know how you call that either) inside my actual pants or I wear some really warm pants with a warm fabric. that way im always confortable and warm!
I know you said you haven't figured out your heating and stuff yet but i highly recommend getting yourself a small electric radiator. I have one in my room at home 1, because i get cold easily and it means I don't have to turn the heating on for the whole house, and 2, I physically cannot do work like you have when its cold- i just can't concentrate and all i wanna do i jump into bed where i end up falling asleep lol
