Japanese fountain pens are meant to be used to write kanjis, and they call for finer nibs.
I have several MB and Sailor fountain pens. Especially I possess a 145 with the most buttery nib in my whole collection, it is just incredible. I must say I also love the feedback of the Sailor nibs on fine paper. I have a Professional Gear King of Pen, its nib is just stellar.

Inks can have radical difference in flow and other qualities, would love if you repeat with same ink.
