Tomac is normal. It's the other people who are constantly clammering for attention are the odd balls IMHO.

Nailed it. Tomac is also a bowhunter. Anyone who has also done that knows that Tomac would definitely rather be doing that rather than clamoring for attention outside of his training. And he also has 2 young kids...

“He might regret not doing more media”
I think Eli is one of the few guys who truly doesn’t give a rats ass about how popular or famous he is. He would still be racing if only 10 people showed up and no money was on the line.

Eli has been the guy not to fuk with on the track he has showed that time after time he is a simple guy that just comes to work does his work then goes home I feel if he wanted you to know more about him he will let ya know he keeps it short and sweet

Eli is a professional athlete and a very well known name in this sport (obviously) but he’s almost like that working class guy that goes to work to provid for his family and that’s all he cares about. He’s a freak of nature on a bike but at the end of the days he’s “just a guy”

Eli's dad was a champion, considered maybe the best BMX and MTB rider of his times, and a super nice man. Eli grew up around a true cycling superstar and I can understand Eli knowing about what's involved. SW CO is also a pretty nice place for an athletic retreat

Eli is simply introverted. Western society is unusual with the way it acts like that’s a bad thing. More power to him. Might inspire some introverts to be more comfortable with who they are. Our society needs them… desperately.

Spot on. And as amazing as Jett has been, I really think Eli is going to beat him when he returns. Not by raw speed, but a combination of speed and the mental game. Eli gets in guys heads. Webb is a master at the mind game and he’s said he can’t crack Eli. And Eli will push Jett in ways Sexton has not pushed him, forcing mistakes.

Some other Colorado boy's to watch are the Blecha's out of Fruita Colorado, some podiums at the Ranch this year, without much backing, I expect to see some sponsorship next year. Tomac is all business, stays out of conflict, except Barcia 2 or 3 years ago, that was fun. I've met Eli a few time, all the way around good guy, that means business, was nice to see him loosen up this year🤙

Tomac is one bad ass dude on a dirt bike and he doesn’t need to say a damn thing. When he leaves, it will leave a massive hole in our sport. It’s a different vibe when Eli is lining up then jett. A great example would probably be *#AP* look back he was straight-laced when he was on *Star Yamahas 250 team* he was doing what everybody else was doing or thought he should do now he's the biggest personality around. (Now if you could just get the results he was getting on the 250 would get that personality more of the spotlight)

Some of my friends don't like Tomac because they think he is an ahole, but have not basis for their thinking other than that they don't see him interacting more. If I was in that situation that Tomac is in, I'd do the same shit, and not because I hate people, but because these guys are so busy as it is. A lot of times there is just too much distraction. And as for the interviews of the racers, I am getting sick of hearing the same questions over and over and would hate being these guys. You can see it sometimes especially post race conference, which I can not watch anymore for that reason.

Hey you guys don't forget that the real world for most people is unfortunately groundhog day for 50 years provided they maintain steady employment. So love what you do it is so much less mundain than most of what world does for a living. Although I think if they do not bring back 2 strokes nobody will be able to buy an fff'ing dirtbike that is not a factory rider at 15k for a new 450. Anyway keep up the great content. I love the channel. Trey Canard content was fabulous. These guys open themselves up on your podcast unlike anyone else's in the industry. Your channel is overdue for a Tsunami of subscriptions.

Tomac is transcending the sport by being a top guy/champion at an age the sport doesn’t really see. Similar to Tom Brady winning Super Bowls in his 40’s to me that is what Eli is doing in his 30’s in a much harder sport. Just my opinion…
