    The sad part is everyone is basically laughing and acting like he was cool and this and that but he wasn't, he was a typical spoiled, arrogant jerk that wasted his life and lots of other people and for what? So he could be cool? So he could look tough or something? He will go down as the biggest waste of talent in our sport no question. I'm not hating I'm pissed because he needed people to put him in line instead of having enablers. I honestly believe he could have been on Mt Rushmore of motocross as one of the greats.

    • @travisfletcher900
      @travisfletcher900 Рік тому +9

      Exactly. His family were total enablers since he was a young kid. Zero discipline! He used to act like a complete jerk when he was a kid, and no one would say a word about it, because he was the fastest guy around.
      I actually feel sorry for him. If he was raised with some discipline, he’d be on that Rushmore. No doubt in my mind.

      Million dollar talent ten cent brain. More natural ability than Dungey probably as much as Villopoto. They are leaders in the record books and earnings and he is hoping to be an extra in Clerks IV. He had moments where he was a decent thoughtful guy, but he also behaved like a complete tool on many occasions.
      He will live to regret his decisions if he doesn't already.

    • @othgmark1
      @othgmark1 Рік тому +2

      @@darrellkeister8452 l would agree that most riders did stuff. It comes down to how often and in frequency Jason was constant compared to most. That's why he got caught more frequently. Anytime you have talented teenagers and money together they will push limits. Jason thought he could live outside them. When the sport started depending on outside money the behavior that was tolerated in the 1970's and 80's was going to cause sponsor issues. Along with big money came bigger responsibilities. Jason did not learn these lessons. He may be a great guy now but this is his fault. Ron Lechien is one of the nicest people you will ever meet in the sport, he had a longer career than Jason. He is another case of being able to accomplish almost anything in his career but he short changed himself. He flat out was the most talented rider of a golden era and his behavior still left him outside looking in.

He pissed it away and will deal with the consequences for the rest of his life. All of the top guys have talent, the work they put in besides that is what makes champions. Jlaw didn't do the work and he embarrassed sponsors. Goodbye. Next.

    The part of the story about Jason lol at Daytona that the manager is not able to tell because he doesn’t know about it.
    At that time the best motocross game was MX versus ATV alive or reflex depending on your preference. Me and Jason had played reflex till we were bored so we started playing alive. And they had just dropped the two DLC tracks I kind of go back in that swampy area. Me and him spent the entire week smoking weed party and playing Xbox live 20 hours a day. And I am I believe it was Friday night it might’ve even been Saturday but it was in the evening and we were playing the game and he goes oh shit Hangtown I gotta go. Hangtown was my gamer tag on Xbox live. And I thought he was saying like he had to go get you know and bag of weed or something so I was like yeah how long are you gonna be? And he’s like no bro I have to go to Daytona! And I was like why you’re going to watch the races? And he says we know dumb ass I’m fucking racing! I started laughing my ass off I thought he was joking. And he’s freaking out and he’s like oh shit man I got to get this together still I got to get that blah blah blah And I realized he wasn’t joking! And I was like you’re Siri it’s me and you’re going to raise tomorrow? And he’s like yeah bro I have to you I get paid to do it. I was like dude you haven’t practiced you haven’t worked out you haven’t eaten healthy you haven’t even fucking slept dude. Penny says to me yeah that’s how my training program is
    Bwahahahahaha so I am laughing he takes off and up playing the game going to bed late waking up the next day do the morning routine and then I smoke some weed and I’m like oh shit the races are going to be on I got a watch this. And I turn on my TV just in time to see the catcher up and he rips the whole shot and leads the fucking race and almost wins it and I couldn’t believe it I was dying laughing because I was listening to Jeff and Megan those guys talking about how Jehle has really come back serious and hard-core and really been training and preparing and I just knew the truth and it was awesome
    Hell the first time I met him was at Julians DeSues House. That was pretty funny too because I went walking in to his ass and a crease in the back room to talk to Julian and he’s like yeah man we’re getting ready to go riding. And I was like no shit who who are you going riding with? And he looks at me like I’m insane. And he says I’m going with Jason Lawrence. And I said no shit where are you meeting him at? And he’s looking at me like I’m fucking lost my mind and while he’s staring at me and says hey who is the kid on the couch playing video games. Because when I walked in the house there was this dude playing video games look like a younger dude thought he was just hanging out you know because Julian
    And Julian says to me that’s Jason Lawrence motherfucker
    I was like what really and I go out there and I look at him and I was like you’re chasing Lawrence and he’s playing MX versus ATV on the PlayStation and says yeah who the fuck are you?
    And that’s how we met
    Dude is awesome
