My dad was a drummer for a few punk and speed rock bands, so I grew up arnd music like this, but when I was in elementary school and Zeke started playing on the main menu of Tony Hawks Underground my dad was stoked to hear one of his favourite bands playing on their sons favourite game. Think the track on that game was Crossroads. I'm only 23 but glad I got to grow up with Speed Rock in my veins
I've wondered that forever! Been a fan since the first album, bought Flat Tracker on vinyl and cranked it loud on the turntable the first day of purchase. But it's better this way than the band becoming too popular. They're the fans best little kept secret, right?!?
Used to work with a friend of the band. From what it sounds like, opportunities were available to work/tour with some pretty huge acts, but they kind of slept on them. Totally hearsay, but it fits the Seattle scene mindset, lol.
Saw Zeke in Manchester last night, the fastest and loudest set of any band I've ever witnessed. My ears are still ringing right now. Absolutely righteous. So happy I finally saw them last night after missing out on them well over 10 years ago!
Took a work shuttle van.....all bus lines were booked solid outta laredo tx north....we went to see the Zeke/ Weedeater show SATX 2018...Jay Cavazos and myself.....dedicated punkers......8ball for the ride......had a blast....RIP Jay Cavazos RnR Outlaw Crew Laredo Texas.....Patrick Disaster
