The Expat community is alive, strong and growing in the Azores. A lot of wonderful people from around the world and various walks of life are now calling these Portuguese islands their home.
Most are here for the peace , safety and simpler life. It's amazing to see how intergraded they are into the island village life, always willing to help, and participate.
We wanted to do a few videos on giving you a small glimpse on how important expats/Immigrants are, not only to the the Islands & Portugal in general, but also to it's people.

Hi, Kevin & Nataliia here from Calgary. We are extremely entertained looking at real estate websites for properties in Azores. Matter of fact we are having a ton of laughs at properties that should be free or $1 (as they are complete liabilities) listed for $130,000 - $500,00 Euros. Seems that the buy time has past; I suspect that being there searching, better deals can be found. We are very intrigued about the Azores and we are investigating. In the meantime very high entertainment at looking at barns/ total ruins... AKA homes. We are subscribed, Kind regards.
Great job on the steps , you have to keep in mind when you are stacking those rocks that once in a while the earth does shake😊. You'll never run out of rocks there for sure. Looks amazing. Congratulations 🍺

I love the rustic landscaping. The steps look beautiful. The reno looks awesome and to step outside and see whales or even look out the window and see them is just magical. It would be amazing to visit and spend an evening with you guys.

Sorry for our surprise visit. But we had just come from the DIY store in Madalena and saw that your car was parked outside and as we had some time we stopped for a quick visit. Thank you for taking some time for us. That's exactly why we like the island so much. There's always time for a quick get-together ... and a Quinas. We really enjoyed it.
