The fact you had to spit out bacon, is a crime against humanity. Also, when you came back with the shrimp and grits....with the extremely salty gravy I knew what was going to happen :D

I'm going to a cheap buffet close to my home tomorrow. The food is a little better but that's fine since I like it . When a buffet/restaurant is as empty as that Luxor buffet, well, that is a warning sign! The $29 dollar price may be somewhat high for what you got to eat.

POOR DANNY!!! You actually are risking your health giving us these buffet reviews. I for one appreciate that. I do however have to say that every video that you have put out has been pleasantly hilarious. I have laughed so hard watching this one that my ribs hurt. The look on your face after tasting the mashed potatoes and gravy. Reminds me of a friend's 8 yr old trying his mum's coffee for the first time. "You DRINK this stuff!?!?!?" He had the same expression on his face.

I ate there back in 2021, and even with a 2 for 1 it was not worth it. The only thing we really liked was the coffee and mini donuts. 😁We had an omelette at the omelette station to fill up. Oh. We had the turkey too and it was good. Very truthful review. Thanks.👍
It sounds like the basement is an appropriate place for this buffet.

Back in the early 2000's it was decent. Buy went down hill 10 years ago or so. I usually get comped when i go there but even then i hardly go
'Tough and durable' will be our catchphrase for our next unsatisfactory restaurant meal.

I often stay at Luxor and experienced the basement buffet once and it was uniformly horrible. Not even worth the lower price.👎
You know when you go DOWN into a restaurant it’s not going to turn out positively.
It used to be decent when I first turned 21 back in 2001. It's horrible now. Excalibur is now actually better which isn't saying much
When I live in a Hick town like Fort Langley B.C. any Vegas buffet is significantly better and cheaper than our hometown offering. We have RiverRock buffet in Richmond BC at $70 CDN with nothing more than food fare offerings!
But Fort Langley is a lovely little town. I'm in New Westminster. You could try the buffet at the new casino in Ladner or the buffet at Starlight Casino. Neither are great but they are both around $30 and if you have an Encore card you get a discount.

Can't complain if they give you jelly, bananas (their specialty) to take to your room. No wonder Danny sticks to Beef Chow Fun, I would too. "At Luxor buffet is not about the food, it's about the nostalgia that keeps you coming back" should be there slogan.
Last time I ate at the Luxor buffet it was really good. But that was in 1996.

Thanks for the review of a bad buffet. The way you mixed everything in the grits reminded me of a bowl of jook (congee). I don't think you've ever ordered a bowl of jook in your videos, but, I am sure it would've tasted better than the stuff you mixed together.

dont forget, they have to keep all this at a certain temp so that they dont get shut down by the food inspectors, or whatever they are called no days. thus, they dry out.

DANNY THE MEDIC- THAT is why I never get the pancake or waffle, they are always cold!! When I make them myself I literally eat them with syrup as soon as they are made PIPING HOT!!!

Try the Harrahs buffet. That surprised me as a lower cost buffet. Turned out to be pretty good.

The Latin section has some spicy stuff that's good. I consider it the gem of this buffet.

I would say that 10 years ago the Luxor buffet was decent but not now.
The Luxor Buffet has been cursed ever since that suicide jumper landed on the original buffet on the casino floor. 😢

Hi Danny! We watch you all the time but this time? OMG! I can totally relate. What happened to the Luxor? We were there 3 years ago and it was HORRIBLE! The shrimp was gushy and soggy, cottage cheese floating in water, the crab legs at the time were so skinny and not worth cracking. I also had an argument with the "Dessert Nazi," because he was controlling those tiny, little cheesecake bites and REFUSED to give me a second one! Ice Cream machine was "out of order." Everything was just disgusting! LOL! It was pretty quiet except for a table of about 6 people, who used choice words and left all their plates and just ran out! It is a shame that it was over $50.00 Better luck at MGM!

Food didn't too good.but maple syrup may have softened the waffles up. Dinner to me was a fail, I say the meal was a fail as well. Just MOP.

Sucked balls! Bwahahahaaa! Beans ought to make me the most unpopular guy on the elevator. Overall, the look of this buffet is medium horrible. None of it looks quite right. I did like the look of the corn on the cob. Love the aspiration schtick... Hendrix went that way. Overall, it bings me visions of ZZ Top's "TV Dinners".
