Green things = Chives. I like my bagel with cream cheese, lox/smoked salmon, capers, and red onions. Those tiny bagels remind me of Lender’s frozen bagels you find in the grocery store.

Danny, best review and deservedly so of the Bellagio. I saw and I’m sure you did too of it falling down in quality after it reopened. Looks like they’re getting back on track. I have many fond memories of that buffet in the early part of the century. One thing I had there and no where else was this hidden gem in the fresh fruit section. Fresh in the shell lychee. I didn’t know what it was and saw all these teens grabbing some, I asked an they told me. I grabbed a bunch too. So fresh and no heavy syrup, just the wonderful fruit and the giant pit that’s usually removed in the canned version. One more memory, I took my mom and brother and his wife there when mom was alive, and she couldn’t eat dairy but saw us all getting that fresh pizza. Lightbulb went off in my head and I flagged down the pizza chef. I asked if they ever make cheese less pizza? He said no but could absolutely make me one. What would I like on it? I told him a mix of veggies and he whipped one up and told me to come back in 10 minutes. I did and a piping hot pizza on a tray was handed to me which I brought to the table. Mom had a feast and we all helped her eat this unusual delicious delight. Such fond memories of that buffet, I’m so glad to see the plans going forward and your enjoyment of that meal. Oh, bone marrow should be spread on a cracker or toast as it is very fatty. It’s referred to as beef butter. Just eating it plain would be weird to me, too. I’ve never tried it but saw how it’s eaten and would like to try it. Enjoyed this video very much and especially the assed bonus interviews at the end. Joe
Very impressive buffet. I think the little green things with the bagel and cream cheese might be chives, or chopped spring onions, but I think it's chives. You are very funny, cracked me up with the spicy Pake on the bacon.
Great review. Thank you. You make it interesting and I love the little jokes, especially the NJ reference! 👍 And by the way, Mr. Pibb drink selection is the competitor to Dr. Pepper.
Came across this video because we are planning to get brunch there soon. What I don’t like is paying the high price and then being expected to tip at certain stations. The prices we pay include all services. We will tip the people working to remove the dishes and things.
no no no that tip jar is for EXTRA SERVICE beyond normal service.. like you go to the carving station and have the guy flip the prime rib over three times so you can choose, tip a buck. just to cut you a slice? none necessary
Great interview with the chef/management! I actually respect that they are withholding the crab/lobster for when it's fresher. That was your main complaint of the other buffets with seafood. I love your Vegas series. When you go back home, will you consider putting together some "best of" videos? I think you have enough footage for months! Would love your rankings of buffets, chinese food, desserts, etc.. Lastly, in future visits, I hope that you can one day be open to trying some more of the "bougie" fare. Especially since some of the mediocre buffets can be quite pricey! You might be able to get better value at the "bougie" places that offer prix fixe 2-4 course lunch menus, "pre-theater" menus, etc.. You got my sub. I look forward to hearing about where you travel to next! Oh - I also hope you are giving your MGM Rewards card with every meal (including fast food at resorts). You should easily have made it close to "gold" status by now (which would wipe out your resort fees and parking fees). If you haven't, then you can bring your receipts to your hotel MLife desk and they will retroactively award you points for your meals (25 points per dollar, but I think it's actually 50 points per dollar until 8/31!).
Pibb was Coca-Cola's version of Dr. Pepper. After some legal negotiations Coke was given the rights to distribute Dr. Pepper but they were also allowed to keep the Pibb brand which was originally known as Mr. Pibb.

I will tell you the truth, with every visit, I aim to do the bellagio buffet at least once, and been doing that for decades. quality does go up and down over time, but if you are having a bad experience, do ask the waiter to bring you the manager and please tell them. Whenever I do that, the manager usually makes things right. For example, I was at the MGM Buffet (very bad) and I told the manager about the issues, and She gave me a card to come back in the future for free.
