@@CrayonTheologianI absolutely agree with you. I have to add, coffee dates make it simpler if it’s someone you don’t care to sit and share a meal with for an hour. It’s short enough to gain some insight, but can be extended enough if you’re having great conversation. Coffee dates are a great first date.
Listen, when my husband now and i were dating we ate the crappiest things at the most weird places. My wife and I are in an 80/80 relationship. We give 80% of our time, energy, effort, and kindness to eachother going out of the way to make eachothers lives easier. If I get home early? I’ll unload the dishwasher, I got home from a business trip the other day and had a lot to do, my wife did and folder ALL my clothes for me and organized them into “take to Hawaii” and leave at home business trip she and I were leaving for 24 hours later. With things like that and the fact we are on the same page spiritually, goals wise, and what we want in life… everything is easier happier, better, and we literally have no fights. It’s a bad sign if a woman would complain about any restaurant. This is 1st world privilege stuff. Last I checked, God wants us to have a thankful heart for anything we get to enjoy in this world. No, I think that is a little bit extreme. I think women should have standards. For me, I am a fit person who eats healthy and never (literally, never) ate at chain restaurants like Olive Garden or Applebee's. Why would I start doing that for the sake of a date and set a lower standard of how I live (and potentially get sick)? A coffee date is much more reasonable, in my opinion. And as someone who likes to cook, a cute date for me would be me cooking a nice dinner with high quality proteins.
@@sheeniebeanie2597 I love the way you think! People always judge me for having food standards, because it’s difficult to find good restaurants that cater to taste quality. I agree with Kirk on getting married. He's not downplaying marriage but is being realistic. I'm a Christian man who has been abstinent for 16 years (no maturation or porn). While I'm very much desiring sex with a wife (Thankya Lord, lol) I'm submitted to God first, which means that I have/had to accept hearing God's "no" or "wait" when consideing women over 16 years. Can literally count in one hand how many women turned out to be friends. Therefore, its not easy as to just date and get married if you're burning. However, I'm quite appreciative and enjoy my single time.
As one of the 5%, just go out for coffee. Commiting to a dinner on the first date is a lot of pressure. Coffee or a walk is def more light-hearted and theres no table separating the persons
Creative fun dates are the way to go, especially while getting to know each other. Expensive restaurants are nice, but not necessarily a memorable date. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Cheesecake Factory. Honestly, as a frugal condo owner who wants to someday upgrade to an actual house, I consider Cheesecake Factory an absolute splurge. Also, I don't always like restaurants for a first date. I like to actually eat food while it's hot without being interrupted by having to talk, and that's more acceptable in an established relationship. 😝 Just coffee and/or dessert on a first date while gauging how well we connect is good enough for me.
THANK YOU!!! I've been hearing other ladies acting like Cheesecake Factory is only one step up from McDonald's. Honey, do you know how much a meal and dessert at Cheesecake Factory costs? And that's not including the drinks! Let's just get some tea/coffee on the first date and chat.
There are soooo many restaurants in between a 5 star restaurant and Cheesecake factory. You can go to plenty of original, cute, intimate places for a date that is the same price point as the cheesecake factory with better ambiance. Its also about the intent/creativity behind where you are asking your date on, and not just the place itself. Some people dont like Chili's - the same way that some people dont like 5 star restaurants. To each their own - I think its about finding someone who you're a right match with, and can enjoy the same things with. The same way some people love traveling and others never want to leave their hometown - you can argue over why the other person should see things your way, but you probably just arent a good match for that person. No way is wrong, its just about your match.
Social media. That’s the big issue right there. If they can’t post it on instagram for everyone to gush over, they don’t want it. There are going to be a lot of lonely miserable women if they expect a first date to be at a five star restaurant
When my husband and I were dating we we would go to cheese crake factory or red lobster when we were feeling fancy. 😂😂 We prefer taco shop dates than fancy dates till this day.
Some women think that chain restaurants are lazy, that's why they're against it. That being said it is crazy for some women to expect a man to drop serious $$$ on a first date and take you going to a 5 star Michelin restaurant.
I agree. I wouldn't feel comfortable with a guy spending hundreds of dollars on a date and it may be our only date or may not result in anything leading to marriage...and then expect him to do this for multiple women until he finds his wife?! Keep it simple on a first date would be my vote!
Women move the way they do in relationships due to what they’ve experience with men and with whom they’ve chosen. Even if it’s starts back to as a kid, whether they were showered by their dad, and/or male figures growing up to contribute to them being healthy pickers with men etc. it’s so much deeper to unpack.
I am the 5% of Ruslan's female audience 😂. I've been married 25 years this year and I prefer a low key Chili's date vs a fancy place. My husband loves taking me to trendy L.A. roof top restaurants on our dates and I low key hate them. I can comfortably eat some wings at Chili's. I can't do that at a fancy place 😂.
As a married woman for 15 years, I love the Cheesecake Factory! Take me any day of the week. As long as I’m with my man, that’s all I need. Laughter and love.
After listening to Kirk I would go out with him in a heartbeat. It's refreshing to hear a man clearly commicate to a woman. Ladies are not shallow and stupid we know what life look like all you have to do is properly express your self. Game is not needed.
Hey Ruslan. So I get the whole reasoning behind a man becoming a priest, provider and protector but what if as an individual you don't feel like you are there yet? Would it be wrong not wanting to get married or even date because you feel like there's still some part of you that needs working on?
Also, they may have experiences like being in an abusive relationship, where an abusive spouse or boyfriend force them to stop working so they could control them more….😢 stuff like that can scar women so they never want to be in that same position ever again and they want to keep working so they can keep some measure of independence/freedom. Also some level of identity apart from their partner so that if the relationship falls apart, they will still have a job, a retirement, resources, etc.
I have several phone conversations with a man before i will go on a date. I can tell everything i need to know over the phone and there's no money spent!! And there's no physical time wasted at a venue!!
I agree with Kirk in regards to the first date...I am totally like this...I can rock with the niceties or the simple because it's about the experience.
I think Kirk made a good point to just be honest about what you can afford. A woman that doesn’t have understanding will always expect that but one that does, knows things change and that’s ok. But he also needs to realize not every man is funny. 😄 some are serious or quiet. My husband was 😂 but I enjoyed our conversations and I made him laugh a lot.
"I'm gonna tell you what's wrong with the Cheesecake Factory, they've got pizza, tacos and fettuccine alfredo all on the same menu" I can't stop laughing. I love the Cheesecake Factory, and I roll my eyes at the women who act like they're too good for it, these chicks should be prepared to die alone. BUT the insane range of the menu is a valid point, that's why the only thing truly excellent there is the cheesecake 😂
3:55 that's a good check imho. Does she want to get to know YOU (which she can also get at a Maccers, not saying you should go there tho 😂) or does she want to eat fancy food for free? If she's here for the money, she's for the streets.
Cheesecake Factory and Chili’s be BUSSIN tho 😮💨 For Cheesecake Factory, the chicken parm sandwich and the dark bread are GOATED. For Chili’s, their seafood pasta and their ginormous mozzarella sticks but they’re called somethin else.
He said about open Marriage don't get married. There's no such thing as open marriage as a believer. Did you listen to this clip before commenting on it? picking talking points is not listening to what the conversation is about. Stop saying most women and say a lot of women. Growing up on warfare makes you the bottom of the bottom? God changes your actions not your personality. Show me in scripture where he changes personality? He says go and sin no more. Reply
I agree with the “some” women that find a competent respectful man, will lean into her feminine role”. Which, in some part, I believe that the boom of feminism came from the incompetence of men back then and now. Men abandoning their true role by cheating on women and leaving them alone with their kids to live their lives of pleasure and desire or even start a whole other family fed this movement and their hatred toward men 🤷🏻♀️
Give the girl options for location. Where she chooses gives you a lot of data in which determine if she’s the right one. This applies across the board.
If anything if I was going on a first date, I wanted the guy to make the plan. To take the lead. Half the time I didn't know what I wanted or where to go, which then had put another decision on me. Possibly a better way would be asking what she likes and going from there. Plus I hated going out for a meal, it was ackward. Would prefer to do some sort of activity thing instead of eating out.
As a woman who has been with the same man for 14 years now and have been married for several years, our first date was walking around the park and grabbing some food at Taco Bell. If she really likes you she will like your company and it won't matter where you take her. I would be happy to go to Cheesecake Factory with my husband or having a picnic. These women who expect a top-tier restaurant on a first date is using you as a meal ticket or trying to figure out the amount in your bank account. And I will warn a guy that kind of woman will leave you high and dry if she thinks there is a better man in her sphere. I think it is best to love the woman who sees the potential in you and brings it out of you. Also as a Christian, make sure you take your relationship to God in prayer.
Kirk is missing the fact that this is the first date. Me getting to know you and you getting to know me. He speaking like these people know each other and can relate.
Don't get me wrong, I love it when my boyfriend steps up to be the man of the household because I know my limits as a woman. It's just not fair that my boyfriend's coworkers don't like him for being a man of God. There are times where I make more than him and he makes more than me. We both kinda flip flop when it comes to working more. I love to earn my money and make a difference by smiling to someone during work. It's an amazing experience to get the opportunity to work for my God and my boyfriend feels the same way. I'll be honest I would be a stay at home mother if society wasn't so expensive. He is going to need help in finances.
I took a young lady on a day date to cold stone and had great conversation and we really got to know each other. It help us not wast each other time. We became friends. We knew we were better as friends all because we took the time to have a real conversation over some ice cream. Also when I told the ladies at my job at the time everyone of them thought it was so romantic. Just saying 😊
You were very critical of William Murphy’s recent escapade (which I agree). How is Kirk any different from Murphy? Why are you interested in what Kirk has to say? Would you take guidance from Murphy?
Hard disagree on Cheesecake Factory. I can't tell you one item I like that isn't dessert. How can you be great when you have to support a 1000 option menu? I've yet to have a bad experience with Raising Cane's cause all they do is serve chicken. Perfect ONE item then we can start adding stuff.
Ya'll completely missed the point of his answers. I'm amazed that you all missed the context. By your statements, marriage and self-worth are tied, and without one, the other is obsolete! Kirk says, "Show a woman you'll go the extra mile for her, but let her know you're going that extra mile at that time," you guys say. "This is my mile, and I'm not going past it for you" On the other point, math doesn't lie, if you have 100 women and only 65 men... someone ain't getting married! People who consider "open marriages" actually shouldn't be married. They're comfortable in sin and aren't interested in God's ordained way of living and loving. It's not that difficult to understand
You do know there are burger, joints, and pizza joints that have five stars?? Most restaurants are affordable, so I don’t understand why men can’t ask us where we want to go. It’s not that deep you don’t want to go to find dining restaurants on the first couple of dates then say that?
It is though because it sets the standard and then for an anniversary or special occasion, she's going to want to go somewhere better to take it up a notch. That's why she should start low with a medium restaurant and not a 5 star place, unless he has money but even so. There's times when you aren't anywhere fancy or you end up at a hospital Cafe or something. If you're spending your life with someone, you will go many places and it won't matter after a while.
I fucking love cheesecake factory The problem with cheesecake factory is that their bread's too good so I get full off of it and can only take 3 bites of my entrée.
I think you guys struck out on this one. If you can't be honest with her, and you're not giving her the chance to express her true desire so you can avoid having to meet it... that's corny, and she's not for you anyway. Both he and I speak from experience - the right woman doesn't need game. Just you.
I agree with Kirk. Women don't ask or expect much, if you are talking to the right woman. Most women don't want fine dining daily, come on. You guys are nit-picking and it's kinda annoying. It's on to make light of not being able to afford something ... who cares.
Cheesecake Factory is called CHEESECAKE Factory for a reason . They specialize in cheesecakes 🤣Once you step out of that realm and try to order food you’re gonna be upset because it’s simply NOT GOOD. They boast about having over 300 menu items , which I guarantee you they probably only cook about 40 of them fr . 🤣🤣My whole family decided that when we do go we’re only going for dessert cuz every time we try to try their food it’s always unsatisfactory or we have to send it back . So nah , I’ll take McDonalds before I go to the Cheesecake Factory 🤣
Kirk been married too long 😂😂 “I ain’t taking you everytime cause I ain’t got the money.” Nah bro she going think you a going front on this and other things
I am not married and have only been in one relationship BUT there is absolutely no problem with Chili's, Applebees, or half the other things on that stupid 28 spots not to take a woman list. I'd rather go to CHili's than go to a 5-star bank breaking restaurant where the entree is the size of my pinkie.
Kirk is right 99.5%. I feel that women who require the fancy upscale restaurant date is using that to see if a guy has what it takes to provide and give her a comfortable life. But I don't feel that is the most appropriate way of checking if a man can provide. I am not a fan of this method because you can be tricked by what you see. For me, almost anywhere is cool just no Mc Donald's, burger King, or checkers 😂.
You were both right- Kirk said not everyone is meant for marriage which I believe. But everyone I know likes to have sex which leads to your point- if you want to have sex- you should get married. That is also true!

car analogy wrong... one of the most common bmws is the worst in the franchise reliability wise and the most produced so they make more money with repairs
I’ll tell you what’s wrong w Cheesecake Factory… the food is trash. The only food I’ll eat from there is off the kids menu. But Chilis… Chili’s is a great pick. I’m always down for Chilis.
Absolutely nothing wrong with the Cheesecake Factory or chilis 🤣 buuuut I think if you do a less known place you can go cheap! My finance took me to a Korean restaurant.. probably cost the same as cheesecake factory but it was unique and fun!
Nothing is wrong with the cheesecake factory ❤ I love it. My first date was at waffle house, we had great conversation over some breakfast 🎉. Both was in school at the time. we celebrate 16 years married this month. Get to know the person, and don't define a man based off where he can take you. Grow with a person, build. The rewards are so worth it!
Kirk Franklin lives on the prosperity doctrine, meaning the more God blesses him, the more he spends on himself, rather than living a modest life and giving more to the ministry. So of course he is going to let a woman spend frivolously.

Anyone ever notice that this list of banned restaurants is complied by women who aren't married?
I’m sorry to say it, but Kirk Franklin is all up in his flesh.
He's always been about the flesh
kirk been out the single game for over 20 years now and times have surely changed lol
I did the same thing for my bday bro!! Dave &busters then Cheesecake Factory
How about volunteering in the community on the first few dates?
That way you can get to know the values of the person right away.
"I'm lookin' at feet" *ruslan almost spits out drink*! XDD! No wonder STOMP was such a hit! XDDD JKKKK
I have several phone conversations with a man before i will go on a date. I can tell everything i need to know over the phone and there's no money spent!! And there's no physical time wasted at a venue!!
Overall awesome video, but my favorite part is 100% the way that Ruslan says Toyota 😅
“Im lookin at feet” yoo I done heard it all 😹😹
I agree with Kirk in regards to the first date...I am totally like this...I can rock with the niceties or the simple because it's about the experience.
I tell u what, that CHICKEN PARM SANDWICH IS A DELICACY!!! 😮💨😋😁🤣
Y'all funny as hell lol this was a good one
3:55 that's a good check imho. Does she want to get to know YOU (which she can also get at a Maccers, not saying you should go there tho 😂) or does she want to eat fancy food for free? If she's here for the money, she's for the streets.
Did Kurt come into this interview snacking on bamboo??? I ask, cause that man "panda"-ring so hard, he might be a citizen of China!!! 😅
Kirk just put us single and saved ladies back a notch🤦🏾♀️. The guys are going to RUN with this.

I agree with the “some” women that find a competent respectful man, will lean into her feminine role”. Which, in some part, I believe that the boom of feminism came from the incompetence of men back then and now. Men abandoning their true role by cheating on women and leaving them alone with their kids to live their lives of pleasure and desire or even start a whole other family fed this movement and their hatred toward men 🤷🏻♀️
My girlfriend and I go to Chilis every week 😂😂😂😂
“They talk really fast” the video was fast forwarded 🤣
Give the girl options for location. Where she chooses gives you a lot of data in which determine if she’s the right one. This applies across the board.
If anything if I was going on a first date, I wanted the guy to make the plan. To take the lead. Half the time I didn't know what I wanted or where to go, which then had put another decision on me.
Possibly a better way would be asking what she likes and going from there. Plus I hated going out for a meal, it was ackward. Would prefer to do some sort of activity thing instead of eating out.
“I did that but I married her” -😂😂😂 Zach gotta YG cutie for his wife!!
Well said Ruslan
I loooooovvvve the cheese cake factory Ruslan
He had me at Chilis hot Chocolate molten cake with ice cream….da bomb! I’d date him again 🤣🤣
Sign me up for the Cheesecake factory and Chillis any day! We often go to both on dates, and I'm always the happiest because we're together ♡
Cheesecake Factory is cool. But Chili's and Applebee's are a no for me. I'd rather just go to a cool local coffee shop than eat bad food.
Man, for me and my wife, Cheesecake Factory is the big date night out 😂😂😂
I'm cool with chik fil a for a date lol
I fucking love cheesecake factory
The problem with cheesecake factory is that their bread's too good so I get full off of it and can only take 3 bites of my entrée.
Kirk been married too long 😂😂
“I ain’t taking you everytime cause I ain’t got the money.” Nah bro she going think you a going front on this and other things
Have I been pronouncing TOYOTA wrong all these years??? 🤯🤯🤯🤯
“Feminine frame”, really? 🤔 “Too far gone”, mmhm, ok. 🤦🏻♀️ And yes, Chili’s is AWESOME…nachos All the Way! 😄
8:00 to your point that’s what makes the phantom more appealing not everyone got it compared to a Camry that everyone got
You were both right-
Kirk said not everyone is meant for marriage which I believe. But everyone I know likes to have sex which leads to your point- if you want to have sex- you should get married. That is also true!
My boyfriend took me to the biltmore house for our first date and pays half of my bills and we dont live together. You get the love you think uou deserve. I have never been asked to go on a coffee date.
Has nothing to do with game. Be honest open and transparent. If it’s game, both side are playing it and trying to feel each other out and access
It is refereshing to see Ruslan calling out the simping
We knew her from way back when im dead 😂😂😂
I’m down for an activity like Dave & Busters or putt putt. Chill setting where conversation AND fun can happen. Personally Cheesecake Factory food is mediocre. But Chili or Applebees 🔥.
car analogy wrong... one of the most common bmws is the worst in the franchise reliability wise and the most produced so they make more money with repairs
Why did you say Toyota like “tyota”? 😂😂😂
He’s also saying there are not enough men.
Kirk Franklin lives on the prosperity doctrine, meaning the more God blesses him, the more he spends on himself, rather than living a modest life and giving more to the ministry. So of course he is going to let a woman spend frivolously.
Love the Cheesecake Factory. Chilis or Applebees is a no…the food just ain’t that great. I don’t even take myself to those places.
I LOVE Cheesecake Factory and I will stand 10 toes down on that!
