Your too kind Fiona, Yes and if Bec has anything to do with it will cost haha, Bali or Vietnam great question, For us Bali is easy. From Brisbane for us its a direct easy flight , fly early your in Bali by lunch, So you can come over for a short time and being a island a few hrs you cover alot of Bali. Vietnam feels like Bali 20 years ago less tourist , cheap and under touristfied. Your money goes much further in Vietnam (our opinion is tourist have driven up prices in Bali and less attractive compared to Bali what was 20 years ago. Australians mainly seem to overpay in Bali but hey everyone has a choice) Vietnam is a huge (long ) country , so getting around is a effort (for us its part of the fun) but can be exhausting to some. So you need more time in Vietnam compared to Bali and can be bit full on, So in summary we would go to Bali maybe 3 times then Vietnam 1 time ratio (due to you need min 2 weeks each time in Vietnam) , For us we love a adventure and when you do Bali a few times you need to change it up (like you said in your comment) but Bali is still great for a short R&R from Oz, Other parts of Asia is more of a adventure. Hope you understand what we mean but would love to do more but that dreaded word called work holds us back haha. Thanks for feedback.
Was gunna comment about eating a food at a restaruant with cat in the name....but i won't as i have tried bahn khot and i love them...tip : easier to eat with your hand than chopsticks 😆
The name Cat has nothing to do with the feline animal . The word Cat in Vietnamese means sand . Cat is actually the name of the owner . It's Mr. Cat's restaurant .

Didn't know about Bahn Kot, Matt needs all the practice with chopsticks as we seem to be in Asia all the time.
