How tf did they waste his career? They are the ones who believed in him and put the ball in his hands. Just failed to put greats around him. Nobody had a problem with MKG at the 2nd pick. Thought he'd become what Kawhi Leonard became later. Nobody debated Adam Morrison at 3. He was 28 PPG at Gonzaga and looked like he's at least become a Chris Mullin type 3 level scorer. We look back in hindsight like we'd have done something differently, but what?

People don’t understand the amount of physical and mental pain your body experiences while you’re playing sports. Happy that he found ways to make peace when he stepped away, it took me a couple years to and finding joy again in the birth of my child. It can be a dark place sometimes though, for anyone that’s going through it I hope you find the light at the end of the tunnel.
I hope he can take that coaching experience and maybe coach here in the Bronx
