I can’t wait for “The Bubble” documentary, movie, or both!
"Millionaire athletes living in a 5 star Disney resort while playing basketball". That sounds like a nightmare.
@@FibaFanatic🤣🤣🤣 lmao
During a world pandemic
@@bridgeboysdk4915 That did not affect one player by losing a love one
Yall want a documentary about everything 😂
I liked the bubble. It was cool hearing the players on the court.
I love hearing my Melo
💯
Ngl, my favorite memory of the bubble was that pic of Melo tapping his head screaming with the girl on the screen in the background do the same thing. Shit is tuffffffffff
How do I find that pic
Bubble Ball was some of the best basketball I’ve EVER seen.
Legit they had no fans, but pure focus to win
Yep. It was just as intense as 24 Hour Fitness pick up ball.
Ya reaching nobody’s looking up bubble highlights ☠️🤣
@@wayne1698you should be.
I mean, that was the crazy Nuggets-Jazz Murray-Mitchell series right? But beyond that, it seemed pretty standard.
"He cant fuckin guard me! God Damnit!" - bubble CJ McCollum
The Bubble was professional basketball at its purest !
😂
Absolutely. That's why so many averages heightened. Facts!!
@@Ariusfivedueceaverages were heightened because there was no pressure from fans. tj warren never played good after the bubble lmfao
@@mvtttttNow you understand why team practices are the most competitive games nba players will ever play in😂. Everyone had the same opportunity to ball out
Yep! Even the bench players was hooping.
It’s so funny how none of the players who were THERE discredit the legitimacy of the bubble. As a Lakers fan, it’s refreshing.
But lakers fans themselves discredit it
You tripping Kobe would've discredited it 😂 d
Soft!!!
@@jerey53So the guy who's known as an ultimate competitor wouldn't have competed to win, if he had played in the bubble ?
@steviejay868 Nope, it's not competing when you control the narrative. The bubble wasn't meant to happen. LeBron pushed for it hard so that he could control the narrative. No fans, no homecourt advantages he ain't won another since make that make sense the bubble was the softest play-off run ever Kobe would've competed but not counted it guaranteed 💯
@@steviejay868thank you bra when I here shit like that it let me know they really didn’t know Kobe. Kobe took regular games on Tues and Thursday like it was a playoff game. 😭😭😭 Kobe was the true definition for try hard 😭😭😭. He would’vejwent to the bubble and treated it like he did the Olympics 😭😭😭💀😭
My lady and i stayed at the Coronado Springs Hotel for a week, where the players stayed, a couple years ago. We met a old man who worked there and he told us that he kept certain players Disney Magic wrist bands, such as Lebron. The man hit a jackpot.
The Bubble Runs were pretty crazy
CJ McCollum, Devin Booker, Luka and Jimmy legends were born in the bubble
You forgot Bubble Murray
Murray was a beast in the bubble
This host Mero cannot stop talking and interrupting his guest.
Dude thinks people tune in to watch him
In season tournament should be in the bubble every year
They'll never do that because of money. Ticket sales.
That would be FIRE
I'm in Vegas,...... it's just fine here 😝🙌
You might be onto something 😂
@@nateilebodeyou didn’t watch the video 😂😂mero literally said it
This was a good take on the bubble . Everyone had to show up or else you gonna look soft to your peers basically . On some Jail shyt fr LOL
I am curious to your opinion on the Lakers bubble chip. I think it’s the 2nd hardest for Bron because everyone has no home field advantage. Now listening to this kind of points that way. What’s your opinion? Not a Bron fan either. Want to make sure I add that.
@@centinelyork I remember how it was . Everyone thought they was gonna die so to me that was tough . Also they had to play and focus only on basketball in there . Unless you was Lou Williams LOL
@@centinelyorknaw the blazers and nuggets complained about the officiating when playing the lakers. It was a hurry up and give Lebron a title experience
@@Dipset415bro this is a fake narrative with nooooo real proof or evidence behind it
@@Dipset415players complian at the time stop
Lmfao @ the Mero hate in here 😂 😂 😂
Kobe would’ve avg 40 in the bubble, I’m not even a Kobe fan but I kno that’s his environment, rec type vibe, knowing all the top players are present and watching Kobe would’ve exposed a lot of players in that bubble
Would have took him 50 shots to get there 💀
Mero " It was weird for me too. I was watching the game on a laptop"😂😂😂
Pure basketball. No distractions. One location and separated the mentally weak from the strong.
Players that performed loved it. Players that didnt, hated it.
Generic BS you made up. Butler & Lebron both hated it…
You still have time to delete this
Damn bruh let Melo and Kemba talk lol
Dude in the blue super cringy, like let them elaborate with no interruptions bruh damn
watching the bubble was a magical time
Will never forget watching old nba classics wondering if we’ll ever see new nba basketball again and then the bubble happened, helped us all through the pandemic
Kemba need to take Mero spot on the pod
Covid highlighted the importance of fans in every sport not just the nba
Not really it was good to see a change for once
@@anubis3963it was terrible without the fans energy!
Yet the know millions are watching anyway….
@@ethanhuntemcee1663It was great!
@@anubis3963 at the time I was just happy to have anything on TV lol hearing all the players was cool. But I wouldn't want it to happen again
Guys in the NBA said the bubble was tougher than traditional NBA games, that’s all I need to know. Had to be tough
No they didnt🤣🤣🤣 Listen again dummy. They said playing without fans is EASIER. But living away from family & you cant go anywhere was hard

@@lucianodadon7822 Well lets just put it in perspective. Have you ever played football and been to a week long camp? Away from home. Cant do what you want to do like normal and following an itenerary of things to do? By mid week the shit gets old and you ready to leave. Now imagine them being in the bubble for longer. Shit gets old doing the same thing everyday and you gotta focus on winning.
@@pmontyjaaaymes488 bro that shit was nothing but high level AAU y’all are not going to trick me ….you had dudes in there that played like Jordan as soon as things went back to Normal I.e fans road games/pressure dudes haven’t been seen or heard from since
Yeah 4 star hotel. Room service. Sounds tough for sure
The Bubble was some of the best and purest basketball I've witnessed.
I enjoyed watching the bubble.
That ny accent so crazy kemba an melo sound alike
Mero be laughing like a groupie in these pods 😂
😂 😂 😂
He’s annoying, would be better without him.
Deadass
Mero can’t pose a question without it being complete word vomit
The guy in the blue talks too much during the interviews and cuts off the speaker a lot, he is kinda silly(not funny tho. . .) he needs to let the guest and Melo get into the weeds in terms of basket talk. That’s what we want to hear, the nuanced details of a Melo and Kemba conversation from hoopers perspective ; not dude in the blue’s irritating nervous laughter, like he’s sucking up to them IJS, RNT
THANK YOU
Why you say "the guy in the blue" like his name is not in the show title? 😅🤦🏻♂️
@@joshuacolon3893 believe it or not I didn’t know that. And as crazy as it sounds I’m not trying to be disrespectful, just honest constructive criticism. Not really a fan of Melo’s game, but see another side of him through this show and he’s winning me over. As I hear things from His perspective. Like the show, just wanna hear more from the guest, when the guest and Melo are talking let them breathe, some of the things the guests and Melo say when the conversation is drawn out a little is interview gold. Brodie, just gotta let the ‘ballers talk that talk’. That’s all playa 🤷🏿
Dude in blue is a tough listen.
If anyone else but the lakers won the bubble chip people would praise it
Bubble was dope one of the best basketball I ever watched
They marketed the bubble wrong
They shouldve made it the real life hunger games
The guantlet
Just PURE BASKETBALL
It was. Wtf are you talking about? Did they bowl for the chip or something?
Mero take forever to ask a question. Cmon fam.
Yeah i was thinking an in season tournament in the bubble would be dope
Kemba! Missed him! He should still be in the league. Monster!
Ngl I personally liked it , because we had ball in the summer
MAN I THOUGH LEBRON WAS TEACHING US THE WORD TREE IN SPANISH!!! Lmao
They should do the in season tournament like an expanded bubble. One location like Vegas for 1-2 weeks of nothing but competitive hoop. Bubble ball was some of the best I’ve seen these guys play.
7PM👊🏾 LMCPGMARLEY TAPPING IN 💯💪🏾🔥🔥
Devin Booker’s run in The Bubble was gets lost in the talk about him now. But 8-0 was crazy for a team to then not make the playoffs
The in season tournament is not a new idea. Silver got it from European Football (soccer). They have several in season tourney's throughout their regular season.
Sounds like a big AAU tourney 😂🔥
Rudy,Melo, and Kemba would win in the big 3.
Actually I like the bubble. I say the play-in games should be in a bubble. Those should be the games they sell to Amazon, Peacock or whoever. Play-in literally means on the bubble of making the play off.
That's why it make the Lakers Championship mean so much more than a normal ring. The realest ballers played great.
The Bubble was phony and illegitimate
The in season tournament in the Bubble but only for the final 4 teams
Love the bubble
This show would be amazing WITHOUT Mero
That’s hate !
Change the in season tournament court designs but other than that I enjoyed the games. Definitely ramped up the level of competition.
I think folks who downplay the lakers winning the chip in the bubble don’t understand how focus they were to accomplish that.
Dame was crazy in the bubble
We need a bubble every summer
Butler and nichols were bouncing the ball too loud in the room. Security came
“Bouncing the ball” 😂 ok haha
They need to do an outside “black top” NBA game, each team gets atleast 1 game like that
TJ Warren was hands down the Bubble MVP 😂
The bubble was great! Discrediting it is a trash take. The world was at a standstill. It was purely about hooping, everyone watching you. There was nothing else for people to do but watch. Most people didn’t leave their homes for weeks. That was a crazy time. I appreciate those guys going there to play, and give us something to do.
Kemba got exposed in the bubble. He the reason the Celtics lost bc they kept tryna play 2 man with him and JT, but dude couldnt get a shot up over anyone on Miami over 6’5 aka their whole roster.
I liked the onsite tournament type of playoff. I realize why the league owners won't do it but I just like it better than the current system.
You want to F over every home fan in the league? Watch your team all year, then dont get to watch the playoffs damn
Steven Adams has the best take about The Bubble.
They hate because LeBron, when that documentary drops it’s going to be legendary
Mero with the dumbest suggestion ever to bring the bubble back
I don’t question the Lakers bubble title because it was in the bubble. AD was hurt when the Covid break started. The Lakers would not have been healthy in the playoffs to make that run
You could make that claim about a lot of teams, Lakers were in first place when play stopped, Davis didn’t have a season ending injury. All teams got the same rest so they’d just be rested even more by your logic. It doesn’t just affect the Lakers. Then Lakers were actually one of the only teams that missed a rotation player in Avery Bradley. But to act like the Lakers are the only team to have benefitted from rest when all players did is a horrible take.
@@Supreme36074 This. Exactly this. People act like the covid break was some sort of looney toons secret sauce for the lakers while everyone else was still playing basketball and getting injured. No one was playing, so there was valid reason to get injured or banged up. Everyone got to rest, everyone got to ease into it with the final games of the regular season. If you would have told me I had to eat shitty cafeteria food and stay in a hotel for a YEAR to do nothing but play ball and get paid for it, I would have taken it in an instant. Throw in the fact the world was shut down anyway and I would have doubled down on taking that deal.
There are 0 legitimate reasons to discredit the bubble over any other season.
Easy fix the bubble is the sphere in Vegas create a crazy new experience and environment
For kemba it was just like charlotte again 🤣 no fans 🤣 😂
The bubble was straight hoops
I think the NBA missed an opportunity to put cameras in the bubble and show behind the scenes a little. Would’ve loved to see guys kinda hanging out playing cards for like 5g’s a hand. Cut to the bubble barber shop and CP3 and Rondo in there after their beef lmao
That would have required them to let more staff in to do the cameras and all the other equipment. While I agree it would have been amazing to be a fly on the wall in the bubble, it wasnt really an opportunity for the nba to have missed on.
Every person from the bubble literally says it was PEAK COMPETITION
The bubble was great to me because it reminded me of 2k Rec games. No REAL fans there but all the noise like it’s a packed game… mfs talking KING shit but instead of on the mic, it’s in real life lol and then you had mfs in there that ended up balling because they had a different mindset so sorry mfs was lookin decent in that atmosphere JUST because they knew they had nothing to lose
If Kemba Walker stay healthy in Boston ERA big chance get champion 🏆 ?
Would've been interesting seeing players like Kobe and MJ playing in the bubble straight killers walking around
Some of the best basketball ive seen was in the bubble. Everybody was hooping.
The bubble was in Orlando Florida
Mero don’t know when to cut it off, or stop interjecting. Buddy hella goofy
Great convo!
My homegirl worked in the bubble and told me about how all the employees were forbidden from speaking to the players or they’d be terminated. She’d get off work and tell me stories about different girls that were getting fired for “relations”😂 idk she was always on edge it seemed miserable lol.
Crazy how everyone who lost had a bad time in the bubble 😂😂
Definitely a legacy play for Adam Silver. The in season tournament will be around forever and down the line will count on your resume. I watch a lot of European soccer and it reminds me of the cups the teams fight for during the season.
i love hearing the players talk about their experience in the bubble. It solidifies the chip that year as one of if not the hardest to win.
If you ask Bron it was like hell on earth
The co-host and his fake laughter just messes up the whole vibe of the platform.
He be trying to carry the conversation especially with dudes who are not as talkative 😂
Mero just gotta be quiet as they’re telling story. The extra jokes just don’t need to be told at those times.
What shoes is Melo wearing?
You could have fans come in but confine the players during the tourney
Kemba in the white sox head to toe?? 🔥
Melo blowed 🤣🤣
I thought he was gone say like they was bout to fight in the bubble
The bubble was so exciting that Jordan’s Last Dance, a documentary about a 25 year old team, generated more ratings than the Finals. You Bron stans are wild! Cut it out! 😂
Kemba Walker should've never gone to New York
Holy shit Metro, please just be quiet and let them talk for christs sake
This cohost gotta to he's bringing down the podcast
He giggle too much
Learn to write before judging others.
You don’t understand how many times I stop watching episodes because he’s so annoying. And what’s crazy is that I love Melo since hearing him on the podcast. Kind of like how Kobe was great even in retirement. But then, God bless him, the co host just changes the vibe so much that I can’t keep watching
@VonJay man I'm telling u, Rudy Gay should be his co-host
@@jackchain2862 vote for Rudy Gay. That boy hilarious
Lakers only mfs to think bubble was legit 😂 everyone was on vacation no one but the Lakers took it serious
Lets your guests do the talking
I like Melo, no doubt but his co-host is goody AF!! Giggling after every sentence...man smh
There was no real pressure like a real game in the bubble. These were scrimmages lol
Why didnt you talk about the escort and tuci
They told us lakers fans the bubble wasnt real L O L
ngl, that bubble shit was ass and the NBA really haven't recovered from it either.
Bubble was no competiton tbh 😂😂😂😂 it was for kobe tbh it was a giveaway
