I think that a unique way to do a loft. I have a 40x40 with 14ft side walls. Im going to do the same thing you did. Could you show more up close of how the chain is attached to the ceiling and to the header?
Yeah, I will try to do a detailed short video of that for you the chain to the ceiling to the header I can show how I attached the floor Joyce to the wall and found some nifty hangers to really help out and make everything real strong.
That’s awesome isn’t it exciting for some reason having a big Building or Shop but I have a 14 foot wall which gave me about 8 foot after I pour concrete to the bottom of the header and then up in the loft I can stand without hitting my head at the wall up in it and some of it would depend on what roof pitch you have that would make it more comfortable or not. I only have a 3 12. If you have a steeper pitch would change it. Let me know if you got any more questions?
Nice. Looks like its coming together. Good to see you’re doing good. Tom L.
Thanks it’s been a work out but yes finally coming together.
That's dope man, honestly I wish I had this much space in my garage.
It’s been like having a second or third job but it’s going along as planed.

How tall are the walls? I’m building a 36x48 and I’m considering putting in a loft. But I only have 12’ 10” walls
